Overall the hotel is a little tired but did the job. Was disappointed that wifi wasnt free for Accor members in room. While comfortable, the room could have been cleaner eg grubby marks on walls and rust stained toilet.

Thank Walter N

Dear Walter N, I am glad that you took the time to share this feedback as it is all important for us to hear where we did well and where we have room for improvement. I am sorry that there was some miscommunication surrounding the Wifi for Accor members as it is indeed complimentary in the rooms so I apologise...

I am very impressed with my stay at the Pullman Hotel, King George Square Brisbane. I found the enthusiasm of the staff and the level of professional service at this hotel was excellent. The highlights for this hotel for me was the excellent location, the comfortable rooms (although a little dated), the staff were very friendly and helpful, the heated...

Dear FGarry2014, This sounds like a really good holiday and a great chance for you to get out and explore everything that Brisbane and the surrounding areas had to offer. Our location is very central and we are very lucky and grateful to be here with the great access to transport and shopping as you mentioned. I'm pleased that you...

This is a quality hotel with comfortable rooms of a high standard. The staff were helpful and friendly. I was originally placed in a room near the elevators and was moved after requesting a quieter room. My room had a good view. I would stay here again and believer it was of good value.

Dear t2cs, Thanks for the kind words and your endorsement. I'm pleased we could offer you a great view (after an initial hiccup) and good value, that is very important these days. Thanks also for the kind words regarding the team here, I know that will be appreciated. Great to have you here and I hope we can welcome you...

The Pullman King George Sq gave me a Great Room, with Balcony Much appreciated, The busy Turbot st on ramp can be little noisy during the 5am-6am weekdays every Man and his coloured shirt can be seen driving towards Fortitude Valley. And yeah the roof top pool is accessible by lift in the Mercure tower and its only a 4...

Dear SugBrisbane, Thanks for your review of your recent stay at the Pullman. It seems there were many parts to your stay that were suitable and up to high level. I loved reading the part about being in pillow heaven, that sounds like a pretty good place to be. I'm glad the team could accommodate your requests as needed and...

Be warned there are really two completely different standard of hotels here. The Pullman shares the same website, booking system, reception and facilities as the Mecure. I think its misleading as the Pullman is stated as a 5 star and one gets the impression that the mecure is the same but far from it! We arrived and having booked a...

Dear BMCG2014, Thanks for taking the time to share this review, it is much appreciated. We do in fact share a lobby and facilities with the Mercure and they are two different hotel's you're right. The Mercure hotel tower was one of the original 'international' hotels in Brisbane and almost 20 years later the Pullman hotel was built next to...

I stayed here a few times in December, and the first time I arrived from the airport after a red-eye flight at 6am. I was hoping to leave my bags at least and doze on the reception area for a few hours while I waited for my room. I was pleasantly shocked then when I was offered a room -...

Dear jw1601, Great to hear of your stay with us recently and I'm really pleased we could help you out early in the morning after the red eye, that's certainly something that we will always try and do when availability permits and I'm glad it worked out on this occasion. Friendly, efficient service, great facilities, attractive hotel. All that one would expect for a 5-star establishment. The only blemish related to dessert we ordered via room service - the menu described ice cream, three flavours, with berries. Upon delivery we saw that nuts had been included as well. That won't be an issue for most people, of course. However, if...

Getting in very late we were welcomed to the hotel very professionally. The staff were knowledgable about the city. The room was very nice and in great condition. Dear SLC072, Thanks for the kind word regarding the team here at the hotel. It's always nice to be welcomed easily when it's late especially if you have been traveling for a long time. “Ask for the Pullman tower, not the Mercure”

“Corner rooms have 180 degree views all mounted tv and a bathroom that included a bath tub/shower. The staff at this hotel were exceptional and a special thanks to housekeeping for providing extra supplies, the friendliness at reception, and on the rooftop bar (16 Anteliers) and especially Farres in the KG Bar who was delightful. As the weekend was a scorcher we didn’t venture out too much but did spend time in the pool and the air conditioned room. The pool area is under renovation but still usable. Hotel did offer to transport us to their sister property Sofitel but we declined. I have read some blogs listing the hotel rooftop bar 16 Anteliers as one of the top and emerging rooftop bars in Brisbane so I did pop in for a beer or two. Although it was hot the temperature was quite pleasant on the rooftop which offered some shade and I enjoyed the atmosphere during both daytime and nightime. There were some nice soft comfy couches to sit on. Breakfast was good with the usual offerings including an omelette chef and barrista styled coffee and chai lattes etc. Location is great and just a block away from the hub of the city in the Queen Street Mall. Museum which is free is located across the road. I will be happy to return at this hotel again and it does have some nostalgic memories as we had our honeymoon here 32 years ago when it was called the Crest Hotel. Save”
