Our stay was mainly to have a place to shower and sleep.
I booked the family room. It was clean however outdated. Amenities worked well.
Receptionist was lovely as checking in was easy.
2 of the 3 Air con units were not working (windows worked fine) my fault for not addressing this with the owners during our stay.
Parking is limited, so best to come in as early as you can as occupancy is high.
Express checkout is available for those who depart outside office hours.

Needed to stay somewhere urgently. Annerley motor Inn is very centrally located and very conveniently located to takeaway, and groceries. 24 hour check-in is available, and late check-in was also appreciated.

The place was better than expected after some of the awful reviews I had read. I was expecting the worst and got waay better!!!! Beds were comfortable and bedding was clean. Towels were warm and fluffy and we got new clean ones anytime we asked. Rooms was a bit dated but clean-TV worked well and fridge was clean as well as microwave and plates etc. Place is convenient to fast food and public transport. Road can be a bit tricky getting out onto as it is busy and parking is tight. All we needed was a place to sleep as we were busy doing lots of stuff during the day. It was exactly what we needed. Views of the city from top balcony was fab and watching the bats coming in to roost was cool. Pool was colder than expected but perfect for cooling down after a hot busy day. Would stay here again-it was affordable for the family room.

Our stay was great. Air con worked really well, the shower was hot and no water got on the floor. Brekky was good and service from staff was great. They were very helpful in getting cabs for us and directions for walking.

Staff and owner were friendly and helpful, a litre of milk was given to us at check in and an extra towel when I requested it.

The kitchen had everything we needed and there was an air con in the living area as well as both bedrooms of the apartment we stayed in.

There is a lovely view of the city and plenty of parking spaces so you're not being boxed in or coming back to the room hoping there's a spot left, and the laundry was free to use which was a nice surprise.

It might not be a fancy hotel or in a "nice" area but I felt safe and comfortable. The price was great for somewhere so close to the city and I loved staying here.

We got lost geting there, blame my GPS, but did get there and office was open. had 3 air con units however someone had stole all batteries, lucky office was open so was able get new ones, and he taped them shut - stop next person taking. The room was old and not really clean none of the 5 of us used kitchen, or had a shower. the toilet and shower off main bedroom so had access that via room, the other room had no door! great place for smokers and if you want hang out with others in motel, reception did have a good stock items if you needed anything, was cheap but we never go back (: oh rubbish trucks come very early for pick up as well.

Booked this motel on the pretence be if photos in the internet.
The pool is the color of a moss coloured swamp. Obviously has not been used it tented to in a very long time.
The veranda has broken railing, filthy broken tiles, broken table with the top sitting beside it and coke bottles cut in half full of rancid beer to catch and drown flies. I don't even want to describe that smell. Ash trays line the verandah full of old butts. Getting into the room your treated with the stale smell of old tobacco.
Not enough towels or cups for the three you have paid for. The manager has no personal skills and us confused as to why you would want a towel each. A room a couple if doors up is being renovated with old carpet and rotting furniture filling the walkway. When night came so did the never ending noise. Drunken fights upstairs, then some sort of conflict with about two dozen screaming people in the carpark right outside the room. Over best idea for this place is to just keep drinking!

I was booked to stay for two nights but left after the first night. The room reeked of cigarette smoke, the windows did not lock, the curtains were threadbare, the chairs were stained and filthy, the supplied mugs were unwashed. The sheets and towels seemed clean but there was just an old blanket supplied for bedding. As a single traveller I felt uncomfortable and unsafe. The positives are that there is a good bus service into the city outside on the main road and it is within walking distance to a supermarket and pharmacy, some takeaway shops and restaurants.

All I can say is please do not stay here. The rooms are dirty and smell awful, it was that bad that we didn’t end up staying and found other accommodation for the night. The owner tried to charge us extra for checking in early after it had been arranged but said he would wave the charge if we left a good review.

Awful place. Filthy and noisy . The other guests were clearly long term residents that made me feel nervous about the security of my work van. Half of the “guests “ spent the evening on the shared balcony/ entrance smoking and talking on speaker phone.
I have no issue with long term guests , but this motel should stay as budget long term accommodation for its current client base.

cooking facilities are limited, but there is a lot of good options around for meals, depending on what you want, price is negotiable with management, just talk to them, very reasonable priced motel, not flash, but clean and friendly
