Detailed Reviews
✅9) Almost (almost) everything about this park is first class.
✅9) We had a powered van site for 10 days. A concrete slab for the van, and awning/annex and car, but all of this bordered by grass. Situated between 2 cabins giving plenty of privacy.
✅10) There were a number of toilet and shower blocks and they were always in perfect condition.
✅10+) The shower setup of wet shower cubicle separated from the dry drying/dressing cubicle it first class.
✅9) Small shop and indoor/outdoor dining area.
✅9) Location great, almost immediate access to freeways to city, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. Major Westfield shopping centre within walking distance.
❌3) Don’t advertise wi-fi unless it works everywhere on site. We had 2 mobile phones, 2 iPads, 1 laptop and they consistently took 10 minutes to load, didn’t load, or dropped out. They all worked immediately if we walked 200 metres to the reception area (day or night).
❌When a guest books for 5 days, extends 2, and extends another 3, but then needs to leave 1 day early, with 2 days notice, when the park is not full, Management shouldn’t hide behind “it’s not our policy”.
But again, this is a 9 out of 10 location.

Hi Warren, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your stay. We are thrilled that you found our park to be of first-class standard, our team works very hard each day to keep the park and facilities in immaculate condition. Lagoona Resort Restaurant is the perfect option for when you don't want to go far for a meal! We are so glad that you found our location convenient during your stay, Eight Mile Plains is perfect for guests staying in Brisbane as we are a central location for north and southbound travel and close to Brisbane attractions. As our Village is 33 acres, our Wi-Fi does not reach all areas of the park at full connection. We do have various hotspots throughout the Village where the Wi-Fi works well on multiple devices. As per our cancellation policy, early departures are not eligible for a refund, however, due to the circumstances Management offered to hold a credit towards your next booking instead of charging a cancellation fee. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused to your travel plans, and hope we will have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future for another stay. We appreciate your business and feedback, if you would like to discuss your concerns further with Management, please feel free to get in touch. Safe travels and take care, The BHV Team.

This park is one of the best caravan parks we have stayed in on our travels. As soon as you arrive you are welcomed. Close to a shopping centre and so quiet considering the convenience of the location to everything. Nice clean facilities. Great location for couples and families alike.

stayed at the park 3 nights, trouble is the amenities only two men's toilets and three showers in the one block, so if full it was a good walk to the next block, could have been more if the park opened the toilet/shower block on the other side of the building, cleaners come in at around 9.15 am, so people moving out simply have to be early or hang on till your next caravan stop. most parks clean after 10.00 when everyone has moved out, also not afternoon check by staff to see if amenities are still clean, once they get this right it will be a great park. When you book they want a deposit ASAP plus on arrival a 50 dollar key deposit that will be placed back on your card once you hand the key back, well at this stage (2 days) I am still waiting for my key refund.

Hi Tony, Thank you for taking the time to review our Village. Your feedback is extremely important to us and we have passed your feedback on to our management team for review. They have let us know that they will adjust the cleaning schedule with our housekeeping team and schedule an additional afternoon check for each block. We are sorry about the inconvenience caused by the closure of the amenity block. If you still have not received your $50 key bond back, please call us on 07 3341 6133 so that we can correct this immediately. Please note that it can take a few days (depending on your bank) to process the refund. Thank you again for staying with us and we look forward to welcoming you back again soon! - The BHV Team

Stayed here for a week and it’s the best holiday park we’ve been to in our 8 months of travelling.. Check in was easy and they are very accommodating.. Sites are kept tidy and amenities are cleaned thoroughly everyday! The on-site restaurant is a nice touch overlooking the pool area which is advertised as being open from 7:30am until 8pm however it doesn’t open until 11am as we found out when we left and wanted to get a coffee at 10am.. There is a bus stop just outside the park and the bus takes you straight into the city during the week! Had a brilliant and comfortable stay, Thank you!

Hi CornishTraveller14, thank you for leaving us a review! We're happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay here with us. Due to COVID, our on-site restaurant has changed their hours so they can still remain open and continue to serve their delicious food! We loved having you here and can't wait to see you again in the future. Kind Regards, The BHV Team

Had 3 days in the Village due to the other half at a 3 day seminar in town, quite often when you get to a van park your are not sure if you will make it out, but from the first meeting at reception knew this place was organised. all bitumen roads concrete pads for van and annex mowed and edged grass area water and power in the correct spot and plenty of room. Restaurant and shop that sold beer and home cooking for the lazy, Super clean amenities (best I've seen) in design and spotless all day/night pool area fantastic, good laundry. almost no kids running around as there was so much for them to do. no peddle carts no kids on the street. but most noticeably everyone including all staff Happy and helpful, Best maintained caravan park I've seen.

It was a no brainer really, as the facilities are well maintained with staff responding quickly and informatively to our needs. The Village is at the crossroads of northbound traffic to the city, airport and beyond. Or south to the Gold Coast and the hinterland region. In our 8 months stay we met many others, some long termers and others staying only for a short while. A common feeling amonst the residents was the sense of safety, with staff regularily out and about to make sure all was well. We were pleasantly surprised how the staff quickly learnt our names. In closing it must be said the office staff gave freely of an important comodity; the most heart warming of smiles. Of which I and my partner say thank you

We paid $52.50 ( members rates) for a powered site for 1 night. Although the site itself was spacious the park was near a main road with loud traffic noises, including sirens, all night long. We went to use the amenities at 0930, before our 10am departure, only to find them already closed for cleaning. They offer 1 coupon for a free coffee but the restaurant doesn’t open till 11am. I would not recommend this park and we won’t be back.

Hi Meander, Thank you for your review of our Village. We're glad to hear that your site was large enough to accommodate your van and family comfortably. We're sorry to hear that the traffic from the road disturbed your stay and that the amenity block was closed for cleaning. We do have 5 amenity blocks around the Village, but we do understand that the closure of the block closest to your site was inconvenient. We do apologise for this. Your feedback is extremely important to us and we have passed your comments to our management team for review. We hope you'll give us another chance in the future and allow us to turn your negative experience into a positive one. Thank you again for staying with us. Stay safe. - The BHV Team

Although it was one of the more expensive parks we have stayed in $52.20 a nite, think it was value for the money.
Deposit of $50 for gate key, refunded promptly to credit card.
Allowed to check in a hour early most appreciated.
Site easily accessed.
Bus right at the door, Go pass bought at the newsagent.
Swimming pool, cabanas, restaurant.
Brilliant. 10/10

I’m lost for words with this holiday park. Our family have travelled the world and this place is up there with the best We stayed in a cosmo cabin and it was immaculately clean, the gardens are very well maintained, the staff..especially Geoff go above and beyond, the facilities are endless to keep the whole family entertained and only a short 10min drive to the city or a 20 min drive to the Gold Coast. Definitely put this park on your list the next time you are in Brisbane!!

The first ever Holiday park (village) with a reception office similar to hotels. First impression was really good, then it got better when we enter the complex and saw our cabin.
Very nice stay, relaxing and quiet, very nice swimming pools and spacious place. Cabin was snug but very clean, more than enough for us - family of 3. Receptionists were kind, polite and super helpful, thanks for lending us the baking tray! Close vicinity (walkable) to a big Westfield helped a lot and they also offered shuttles to city.
The only input we would offer is for the mattresses and pillows to be replaced. Some are past their due dates :)
Nevertheless , very satisfying stay. We will be back when we're going to Brisbane again.
