Stayed one night in a “Petit” room. Was more roomy than I expected. Was $120 & an extra $25 for the car parking. The staff were helpful & friendly & were able to accommodate me for an early check in. The decor is modern & fresh. The location was very good for what I needed. Would definitely recommend & stay again.
Our family spent a month at this wonderfully located hotel in a two bedrooms and two bathrooms hotel apartment. We found it faultless. The reception and management are extremely helpful and co-operative and went out of their way to ensure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible- an extension lead to allow for a second desk and lamp in the larger bedroom, multiple adaptor charges throughout, fresh towels whenever we needed, scanning documentation for us and making photocopies when we needed -it really felt like a home away from home. We have stayed at great hotels throughout Australia and overseas so have a clear idea of what constitutes good service and room amenities- this hotel has a good hairdryer, iron and ironing board, comfortable sofa, dining table and chairs, two TVs, two balconies into the light- filled apartment. Moreover, it was spotless on check- in, towels and bedding excellent quality and the whole lighting design made it easy to have lights on and/or off in the bedrooms/bathroom. The location a few minutes walk to James Street is marvelous- James Street Market will be missed by us- the quality and presentation of all the produce and bakery items is exceptional. Not to mention all of Brisbane’s best and trendiest restaurants and cafes are a stone throw away. And even a quiet garden area across the street to meditate or relax. Highly recommended- in fact the only place to stay in Brisbane for any length of stay be it overnight or a longer time. …
The wife and I stayed here overnight while visiting friends on a night out in the city. Great location and friendly staff. The check-in process was smooth as. We booked the executive suite. It had a balcony with a large studio room and bar fridge. Nice bed and pillows. We really enjoyed our short stay.
Paid 150 for the king exec suite as a special and what can I say, this room is simply amazing. Seems to be freshly refurbished and it’s cozy. The beds are comfy and pillows aren’t hard yet nice and soft. We will be returning
Don’t stay here!!!! $200 per night. The decor is tired and at 11pm took a shower , cold water , at $200 per night you want warm water. The water pressure was woeful men in the their late 80’s can pee stronger than what came out of the shower head. Location for me was important as I had a meeting in Fortitude Valley the following morning, but I should have stayed elsewhere it was simply over priced and I’ve stayed in better motels in places like Roma and Mount Isa. Skip this joint where you can, you’ll do yourself a favour. Jurgen Mross
