Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

An absolute amazing place to stay right in the heart of Caxton st, Brisbane.
We attended the Queen concert at Suncorp Stadium and the feeling to be back in our room after only a 2 minute walk was fantastic ( especially when it was raining). We were lucky enough to be accommodated in a suite which is a lot larger than your standard room, which had its own balcony overlooking Caxton st on the first floor, and with the doors closed you could not hear a single outside noise.
Sitting and watching the evening go by with the music from the locals pubs and activities was a real buzz.
The staff were all super friendly and helpful although the parking was a bit of a let down as we had to pay an extra $35 to have our vehicle parked due to the lack of spaces. We paid top dollar for a big event to stay here and upon looking at their regular prices (which had almost doubled) I think the parking fee was an added steak from our wallet. Anyway, apart from that, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again or to recommend this hotel for a perfect stay away in an atmosphere filled location.

On arrival was met at the reception by a very helpful gentleman. Our room was ready and we were able to get an early check in .
The room was excellent apart from the bed headboard being a bit worn with marks.
The room was just as advertised . Complimentary water was left in the room and also next morning a complimentary breakfast of muesli and fresh fruit was delivered to the door.
The hotel is definitely somewhere I will stay again . It’s a shame they are fully booked in January 21st as it would be so handy for Suncorp and Elton John’s concert.

Opted for the package which includes $100 credit for your dining experience at Gambaro Restaurant. Very much enjoyed our overnight stay and staff were all very friendly and helpful. "Paddington" room was comfortable and functional and more spacious than expected. Plenty of toiletries and complimentary light breakfast parked outside the door in the morning was a nice touch, as was the included bottle of wine delivered to room just after booking in. Be aware that $35 is charged for overnight parking and we were advised at the outset.

Headed to Gambaro’s for New Years Eve lunch. Highly recommend the seafood for two which included lobster, spanner crab, Moreton bay bugs, prawns, mussels and oysters kilpatrick with a pumpkin and yoghurt and a Greek salad as sides. Parking is limited, excellent service provided and reasonably priced in the heart of the cbd.

We stayed here for our anniversary and were very pleasantly surprised with the lovely touches and fantastic staff. Without prompting, a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine was was waiting on ice in our room. A light breakfast was also complimentary at our door the next morning. There are plenty of great places to eat and drink along Caxton Street strip and a quiet part of the city. We had a lovely view over Paddington. The room is great, a little small but well appointed: although a refresh of the bed head would be in order. We are looking forward to returning again and will upgrade to the suite. Fantastic value for money for a boutique CBD hotel. Thank you Gambaro for making our stay special!

I really liked how it was new, clean & modern.
Staff were really friendly & allowed us to park for free in the hotels carpark which we were grateful for.
The room was great, bed was comfy & so were the pillows.
Bathroom was clean, shower pressure was strong & came with shampoo, conditioner, moisturiser & nice smelling soap.
Close to restaurants & bars. Would be happy to stay here again.

Our families stayed here on our daughter’s wedding day. Photos taken around the hotel were gorgeous. Hair and makeup conducted in one of the suites worked really well. Platters of food provided to allay hunger pains were also appreciated.
Nothing was too much trouble. Special thanks to Ramon who seemed to be always available to assist us with any of our requests or queries

Very nice hotel close to lots of bars and restaurants. We stayed here as we were attending a concert at Suncorp stadium and it was very convenient. Rooms are stylish and comfortable with plenty of space. Only slight downfall was the lack of water pressure in the shower.
