It was a comfortable room and the facilities were very good. The position of the hotel was excellent as far as to where I was going for my meeting at St John's Cathedral. It was very close to the Central Railway Station as well which meant that I did not have far to carry my bag.

We always stay here when visiting Brisbane as the location is convenient and accommodation is great value for money. I requested to check in early and they were happy to oblige. Was given a complimentary bottle of white wine to celebrate my 50th and nothing was too much trouble.

The staff couldn't be friendlier and the rooms looked like they had just been refurbished. They were very clean and we stayed in a 2 bedroom unit. They were very well laid out with one bedroom on each side of the living room and both with full bathrooms.
The balcony ran across both bedrooms and the living room.
The first unit they put us in had an ac unit that didn't work and sounded like a jack hammer but they moved us to another room within a few minutes.
The only drawback our unit had (#2202) was that neither bedroom had a TV and even though we were on the 22nd floor the traffic noise from Ann street was loud.

Note. I wouldn't order food from the delivery menu they have as it arrives cold.

If I could give a -10 I would, that is my rating. To start with dishwasher had food in it so was not cleaned properly. WiFi didn't support Netflix to use your own account to watch something. Also couldn't hotspot from phone as hotspotting had been blocked. The exhaust fan in the shower was covered with dirt n dust alot, it wasn't a small amount the whole thing was covered, it had not been cleaned in a long time.
The room was average and the aircon stopped working o the 2nd night so it was bloody freezing at night.
When our concerns were voiced, all they said was "so sorry".
The rating of this hotel should be a 1, it ain't worth what it has.
Don't waste your money, spend that little extra and stay somewhere else where the room will be properly cleaned and you are able to watch Netflix using your own account. Wanted to have a movie night while staying there and weren't able to.
Worst stay ever -10 rating.

We absolutely loved it. Friendly and helpful staff, walking distance to the city and the most comfortable bed. The apartment was bigger than expected and a nice view from the balcony. There is a cafe two doors down that serves breakfast starting at around seven dollars. Yes, we will definitely be back.

I stayed in the Oaks Lexicon on the 1-3 October 2020 and found the facilities very pleasing. The room was a 1 bedroom apartment and had all the amenities needed. The room was clean and tidy and the king size bed was very comfortable as was the couch in the main room.

The staff were helpful and friendly when checking in and checking out. All queries were answered and when asked a detailed invoice was supplied. We had stayed there at the same time last year so came back again and were as pleased as the previous year. The location is perfect for going into the city and shops and close to various cafes and restaurants.

We would recommend this anyone looking for a decently priced and comfortable accommodation.

Booked in for one night only. Clean (like, literally no dust) decent size with a large balcony (had a corner room 1004) and a quick walk to work in the morning. Shower pressure is amazing. I appreciated the cleanliness of it, as well as the size of a 1 bedroom apartment. Has a full kitchen with all the cutlery, cookeware, etc and Washing Machine and Dryer. I did have 3 things to mention though on the not so great side. 1). There was a dead cockroach (upside down) on the way to the bathroom in front of the cupboards. It was dead, so that was the happy part. I picked it up with a tissue and flushed it down the toilet. Maybe they had sprayed, or it had eaten bait and since they had cleaned the room it decided to come out and die. I don't blame the hotel for this, as I said, it was dead and not crawling anywhere. 2) The doona had a stain on it, but only when I lifted the doona away from the top sheet could I see it. Not really a biggy, but it would be nice if there were no stains. Not so say that it wasn't clean, but I wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't of kicked the doona off during the night. 3) The shower area could do with a bit of Exit Mould Killer and a bit of a scrub. It was OK to have a shower in, but a bit of a Mould Killer and a decent clean and it would be back to normal again. All in all, this was a comfortable place to stay. We sat out on the balcony, ate pizza, watched TV, etc. Has all the comforts of home. The bed is not 'horrible' but I do prefer a softer bed. I slept, but its hard to sleep on a foreign bed. I'd say the bed is High Medium to Firm, which is a general requirement for most hotels. I'd recommend this place, even with the few niggly things I found. :-)

When we arrived we were informed their was no parking & had to find alternate arrangements.
We were not given much help just to look around which is extremely stressful on a Friday Afternoon.
Not being from the area we went across the road where we were informed it is $140 as he was helping us out which after paying our bill we could have chosen another Hotel with the price for accommodation & with Parking with our total price.
I was more furious the next morning as I went to breakfast & the signs advertised parking at $14 a Day.
At no time were we tolfd about the parking before we booked or on the hotels .com website

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night city stay at Oaks Lexicon Apartments. We were allocated floor 15 which provided a nice outlook over an obstructed view of the city. The room was very spacious with a full size kitchen which came in handy for breakfast as we couldn’t find anywhere within a 5 min walk that was open on a Sat morning. The a/c is tricky to operate and noisy and industrial but it did mean we could enjoy a cool night’s sleep. The pool was warm enough for a quick dip but not deep enough to swim laps or do much more that splash around in so the kids enjoyed it more than us adults. The only downside to our stay was the $35 per night charge for parking which we found excessive. If we had stayed any longer than 2 mights it would have made for a very expensive stay. We would gladly choose this hotel again for its value for money and size of the room in comparison to its competitors.

My colleague and I stayed in a two bedroom two bathroom apartment while attending a conference near by. The apartment was so well designed with a bedroom and bathroom at either end of the apartment. This ensured our privacy. The rooms were very spacious and exceptionally clean. Great views from our balcony. Staff were extremely friendly, polite and helpful. I will certainly stay here again.
