Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We spent a night here before our early morning flight. Check in was smooth and friendly. The room was typical motel style but very comfortable, well equipped and clean. The large screen TV had Foxtel. The free undercover parking was very handy as it was a very wet day.

Beer and wine was available at Reception for a very good price. There was a good range of meals available for service in the room but we decided to take the 2 minute walk instead to the Bayleaf on Brisbane restaurant. There is also a wide range of other dining options over at Portside which is about a 7 minute walk.

All in all we had a great stay and will happily return again.

Not to bad of accommodation but beware that what was advertised is not what was offered. If you pick an ordinary room you will have to lug your own luggage up the stairs. The elevator is only available I'd you book a deluxe room. They advertised a shuttle service to the cruise docks, but on the day they said that they only go to the old dock, not the new cruise terminal. Breakfast was included but once again the hotel didn't honour this and said it was only a cold breakfast if you really wanted it. Be advised that the rooms are less than perfectly clean, so don't expect too much when you arrive.

The Airport Motel is on Kingsford Smith Drive, Hamilton in Brisbane. This hotel is close to the cruise ship terminal and the airport, the hotel has a shuttle bus service to both. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. A fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave, and tea coffee were in our room. There is a swimming pool. The hotel has free wifi, parking and Foxtel. The staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel looks a little run down in places.
There are pubs, shops, cafes and restaurants within walking distance.

The whole complex is very dark and very dated. Time for a big reno - particularly the bathroom in our small unit. A tricky little step into the bathroom caught us out a few times - a real toe stubber. Big long cord to operate the dilapidated bathroom fan - doesn't work. Towel rail fell out of the wall, classy labeling on the wifi modem🫤

Room was full of dust and smelled of damp. The air con was terrible for first day then got better and I was bitten by insects a lot. The owners only have 1 cleaner for the whole hotel and she has to cover reception too. I asked for the room to be cleaned after the first night and even pointed out the dust on the windows surfaces and blinds. It was given a slight clean but still scruffy. The smell was bad too. It was average price for the area but standards were not acceptable and I would rather pay more than double to stay elsewhere. It seems to be running down I think.

Close to the airport and wonderful for an early morning flight, the hosts are very lovely and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable, everything was in working order. To be honest the air con was great on a hot day, and close to some to shops.

Nothing like the pictures… guessing there is only one room refurbished for advertising. Thread bare carpet, our family got stuck in the lift (pitch black) then advised you might not like to use it again - On 3rd floor with international suitcases not helpful. Lift had light hanging out of ceiling, graffiti in it. We were awoken by some crack head yelling at someone through a closed door at 2am.

Lady who is a worker on reception was elderly but lovely. Don’t stay here.. go up the road to any others.

We are staying only a night before picking up a campervan. We are impressed with the layout of the room. Bed was comfy and water in shower was very powerful. Has WiFi, foxtel and a pool. Great spot if stopping over for a cruise, road trip or a few days in Brisbane.

The staff were nice but the accommodation is awful. Ash on the window ledge from previous smoker, grime and damage on the walls, dust and grime on furniture, stained chairs, paneling on closet doors coming off. I felt unsafe and my room was like a basement room. Dark and dirty and fumes from the vehicles parking in the basement carpark right next to it. I have taken pictures to show my room. Never stayed here before and will never stay here again.

There was no lift to the second floor and the water in the bathroom didn't heat up. Also the microwave must have been old because the food took longer to heat up than usual. The beds were comfortable and the TV worked. It was okay for two nights stay.

There are several car hire companies nearby on Nudge Road. Jucy Car Rental (1800150850) is on 771 Kingsford Smith Drive only 15 min walking distance from our motel. You can pick up the car by walking to them, then come back and take your luggage before check-out.
