Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Had no indication how to get to our level via the lifts having to use the lobby rather then ground. The room was basic, and the level we was on for the price was not worth theoney spent. NO view. Entirely unhappy

I stay here A LOT. Always a warm welcome when I return to Herschel St Meriton. The team are just lovely. Rooms are immaculately clean. Everything you need is on hand. Safe, clean and welcoming - what more could you ask for ? High doors have less city noise.

Meriton Herschel Street has become our regular home away from home when staying in Brisbane. Apartments are so well equipped, the beds are ultra comfy and the outlook over the river is stunning by night or day. It is only a short walk into the Queen St mall and only a few steps away from the Roma Street railway station. The staff are always super helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them.

Great location and very close regarding my business trips (weekly stay every month for the next 12 months). Staff and facilities of high standard, especially the dialogue with staff. So impressed that l will bring my family up for a holiday/business trip.

This is exactly what we wanted for our stay. Close to Roma St station with access to the airport from there and a short walk to the pedestrian bridge across the river to the south side. The kitchen and swimming pool were great features and the apartment was spacious enough to feel comfortable.

Not up to usual standard. We’ve stayed here several times and up until our most recent stay have always been satisfied. Foxtel had been removed, bedroom size inadequate yet we were still charged top $.

View was great, service very minimal “due to Covid” no longer bears well with me. The car park is way too small and hard to get around in and for an $80 surcharge not that handy. Check in at 3pm feels like we are being ripped off a little. Our anniversary we were not given a welcome pack or anything to surprise us when we got in our room :( The pool area is too noisy with the spa being in the same room and no adult oasis on the roof, when clearly there is room for it! Overall hotel is clean and amenities are good, missing an ensuite for our anniversary weekend was weird having to walk across the apartment to go to the loo? The concierges were nice at the front but no luggage trolleys available for us. I would stay here again as it is very clean and tidy and overall it is a very lovely hotel.

We were lucky enough to book a 2 bedroom altitude suite, the view was incredible! Brisbane as far as the eye could see. In saying that the apartment could do with some love, it has definitely been used as a bit of a party pad however we did find it to be very clean. We were located on the 70th floor and the lifts were slow at peak times which is to be expected but do allow for this. This hotel is centrally located and in walking distance to plenty of great amenities. Something to bare in mind at the time of our stay the nearest ferry terminal had been damaged significantly with no sign of repair. Another section of our group stayed with us on a lower floor in a 1 bedroom suite, they lacked the view we enjoyed but definitely had a room that was in a better overall condition and they thoroughly enjoyed their stay. We loved being able to use the pool and patio areas and would not hesitate to stay here again.
