Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A good quality and great value motel to rest your weary bones.
Clean andv with all the necessities. There is car parking under the room and even though the motel is situated close to the main road, there didn't appear to be much noise at all.
The manager - Geoffrey - is friendly and helpful.
I would be happy to recommend this place to anyone.
You will not be disappointed.

We stayed there for 2 days for the brisbane International and found that the service was really good. Staff was friendly, fast check in and check out. Rooms were basic but very clean. We paid $95 a night so thought that was good value for money. Motel is located on the main road so was a bit noisy. Overall experience was great. Would stay again next time.

A bit dated, but my room was very clean. Main issue, noise. The noise from Ipswich road is horrendous. I'm sure there is no double glazing or noise reduction I the walls, yes it is bad. My room was angled towards the road, perhaps a unit on the other side may be quieter. Another issue, which I have never had before 12.30am you could hear snoring in another room! Then around 1.00 - 2.00am, you could hear the TV in another room. So my night wasn't great, and yes, the morning traffic 6.00am will wake you up. Other issues, only 3 sachets of sugar, and only 1 toilet roll, no spares. Room has toaster and micro wave and good size TV with good clear reception. Bed was fine, but another blanket would've been good.

In short, if noise, be it traffic or from another room doesn't bother you, it's not bad and relatively cheap $95.00 for one single. If the price was higher, I would be extremely disappointed.

I arrived back at the motel around 11pm after checking in at 8pm. I sat down on the bed and almost hit the floor, the bed collapsed under me.

As soon as I layed down I started to get eaten alive, now 1:50am and can't sleep.

This is the WORST and DIRTIEST motel I've ever stayed in....

Not a welcoming place at all. Would recommend paying extra to go some where respectful. The dodgy room was woeful. Bed was broken. Television did not have signal. The room stunk of smoke. Went down the road to a reputable motel for twenty dollars extra and loved it.

The outside didn't really impress on arrival. But staff were great, friendly and helpful. Undercover parking available, great in storm season. The room/bathroom was clean and freshly up dated, though air conditioner did struggle with high temperatures. Position was excellent, walking distance to tennis and trains. Close to multiple food outlets. Thanks to double glazed windows, road noise wasn't an issue.
Overall I would definitely stay again. Suggest removing rubbish from outside/back of buildings, to not just improve appearance, but reduce fire and safety risks.
