Detailed Reviews
Where do I start? We were greeted with bubbling carpet in our room, and a bathroom that appears to have been pulled straight out of the public sports ground amenities. The missing tiles in the shower weren't appealing, nor was the single ply toilet paper soft on my coochie. With the fear of catching tinea in the shower, my brother and I shared my size 5 thongs to shower. What was really aesthetically pleasing on the eye though; was the rusty mirror due to no exhaust fan and a build up of moisture, and the previous guests beard hair that covered the shelf under the mirror, paired with the squished dead bug on the Reject Shop air freshener.
While we only paid $118 for the room, anyone would expect a qualified motel cleaner to do their job properly. Upside is, the sheets were clean! We look forward to heading back to NSW where a $118 motel will get you a clean and hygienic room.

Recently renovated & modern bistro with a little children’s area. Today (Sunday) there was also free children’s entertainment (balloon creations) & a small animal petting area. Which my 4 year old granddaughter really enjoyed. Also she was enrolled to a free meal when a full priced main meal was ordered.
Yet the reason I’ve given it a low rating is because the prawn cocktail tacos ($18) was 4 mini tacos on a plate. We ordered 3x roast beef lunch.. the beef was quite fatty, tough & slightly dry, the zucchini was over cooked & like drinking water, carrots were on the wrong side of dente so hard…very disappointing
Was it we made the wrong choices or was it a bad chef day as they were busy or is this the standard of food…if the manager is reading this I look forward to hearing from in which one it was

Terrible service, young staff and not great customer service.
We went for lunch on a Sunday and was charged for the free childrens meals but it was then later taken off our bill so this was a confusing process to follow.
We were also charged for the dessert which does states as an addition on the menu but why would people be charged when they clearly advertise kids eat free on Sundays.
Good setting with the fences in playground but it does get busy.
Probably wouldn't go again the food was average.

The hotel was very convenient to where we wanted to visit. Whilst it was built several decades ago, it was clean and it was well insulated from the very cold weather we experienced overnight. We did not need any heating. There was no noise from surrounding traffic. Having to walk just a few steps to the restaurant in the hotel premises was very convenient.

Brighton Hotel freshly renovated with bright clean lines and comfortable furnishings. Friendly attentive staff who met our needs and requests.
Food was tasty and reasonable. Enjoyed our time there where we could hear our conversations while background atmosphere was still celebratory.

The hotel is in a great location, we ubered everywhere we needed to go, the room was clean, plenty of towels, and had basic amenities. If you want the Ritz at a budget price, don't bother, it is comfortable but not fancy. Charlies Restaurant has a nice selection of really delish food, I totally recommend the Brisket Burger, Mushroom Arancini Balls, and the Parmy was too big to finish! The only disapointment was the black-out in the whole suburb that forced us to eat out on our last night, food was no where near as good, I wont say where! Oh and big thank you to the friendliest staff, they really made us feel welcome and couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable! I definately will book here again!

Such a down to earth friendly pub to take the family and enjoy a good meal.
We had the roast, chicken curry, and sweet potato fries, which were all delicious.
It is a lovely place to come and relax with the family and enjoy the hospitality of the friendly staff

We stayed there as a team and the staff bent over backwards to make our stay an enjoyable one. We had a small issue with one of the rooms and the staff dropped everything to fix it.
The rooms are dated but comfortable but a very reasonable price.
One street from the foreshore which was a lovely walk in the morning.
The restaurant had generous servings and were great quality.
Great to see a small hotel run so well. Keep up the great work.
Definatly be back!

My family and I use to frequent this place many times before the renovation. My family and I decided to go back for my wife’s birthday and was extremely disappointed. I thought it was a boring menu and we even sent the seafood pasta back. Unfortunately we will never return.
