This is the first time I've stayed at this property. The property is located in the city and I was worried about noise, but it was really quiet. I slept in for a while the next morning. The property is really clean and close to everything you need. Plenty of parking for all the guests. I'd recommend the property and I will stay here again when I'm in the area.

I chose the hotel for location and a "budget" price. There are many restaurant and fast food options nearby. Undercover parking and it's close to public transport. The hotel room that I was has seen better days; it's 80s era and had some attempts at upgrade and renovation but it is a mismatch of furniture, with a tv located on a bench next to the bed, but not in a position to watch from bed. There were no chairs to use for watching the tv other than the two upright kitchen chairs. It is supposed to be a room for two people yet there is only one bedside table and one reading light. The flow of water out of the kitchen tap is a trickle. The room I was in was close to the main road it was very noisy even with the door closed and AC on. Servicing of rooms was also a bit "hit and miss". I was somewhat disappointed.…

Good stay. Clean and comfortable room. It had everything in the room I need. Undercover parking. Good walking areas nearby with easy access to the Brisbane River walkway, and buses, and train. Food nearby. Safe. Friendly staff. I'll be staying there again!

I cannot fault this accomodation! From the friendly welcome and service to the above and beyond service I received after leaving an expensive phone charger/cord behind. The manager ‘Jack’ went out of his way to ‘find’ and ‘organise’ a pick-up for me that I am so grateful for. To find that the wonderful cleaners had taken it to the office was so honest that I would like to say ‘thank you’. The very clean and large Family Studio we had was perfect. Plenty of free parking and a no-fuss check- out. We didn’t have any trouble with noise from either the road or other apartments. Free wi-fi. We weren’t far from the City centre or Southbank. Easy to Uber. Will definitely be coming back. A+

We checked in Monday 25th July and checked out Monday 1st August this was a 7-night stay. We stayed in apartment 15 which faces onto Jephson street, Toowong. Toowong is actually somewhere we lived several years ago and back then - 2014 - we were quite close to this complex so we have some previous experience of this immediate area. It is a very good spot to be placed; plenty of public transport, car parking in complex, shopping at nearby Toowong Village Complex, a ‘GoodLife Gym’ (which if you ask management nicely may let you have a very reasonably priced short-term daily / weekly entrance pass – my wife did this), coffee shops and so on. Good spot to be. Just across the road is 'The Gunshop Cafe' - we had a breakfast there really, really recommend. Toowong Central Apartments are an older set of 28 apartments BUT the welcome, the hosting, the housekeeping and in particular the unit we stayed in was fresh and crisp. Please note: this is a busy area at times so you will experience traffic noise (peak hours) and this was the case in apartment 15; for us however it was not an issue – we have traveled extensively and when our heads hit the (very comfortable bed and pillows, in this case) we sleep like logs. If, however, you are a light sleeper speak in advance to manager Jack (who is very approachable) and see if one of the other units might be available and perhaps better suit your needs. I am confident he will do his best for you if he can. Check-in time was 1.00pm; we arrived sometime prior to check-in but on-site manager Jack kindly took our luggage to store whilst my wife went (via ‘Good-life Gym’) to an early morning business meeting; I went out for coffee and breakfast – lots of choice very close by. Worth noting that on-site manager Jack has been here for the last ten years; he is still, self-evidently, keeping a firm hand on his leadership and management duties even during these difficult Covid / post Covid times when hospitality has really struggled. Jack is, in our short stay here, doing a good job in providing safe, serviceable, comfortable and welcoming apartment type accommodation. Thank you – Jack! When finally we were checking in, the first thing I heard was my wife exclaim from the bathroom: ‘Home-made hand soap! How lovely!’ Good start! Apartment 15 is very well presented; the unit is in really good condition beautifully clean and really welcoming. Very strong (free) Wi-Fi and reliable connection throughout our stay. The double bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is in excellent condition (looks fairly new) and water pressure from shower excellent. Hot water plentiful with no loss of heat if enjoying an extended shower. Comfortable sofa, comfortable table and chairs both inside and outside (on balcony); all serviceable and well maintained. Kitchen area beautiful clean on arrival and all is in place to make our stay a pleasant one. Fridge good and cold. Great lighting throughout this unit. Loved the bedside lamps. There is an on-site laundry which we made use of several times. Coin operated (4 x 1 AUD $1) washing machines and dryers plus outside clothes lines. Standard of housekeeping: truly excellent; this down to Dennise Moreira (yes two ns in Dennise – I checked first) who I discovered has been keeping up such good work here for over 6 years!! Dennise, we also found, on occasional covering reception which Dennise did equally well, kindly organizing for us a transfer from this complex to the airport for our next leg of travels. I highly commend Dennise; kind, approachable and really effective in all areas she applies her efforts to: the guest; in Dennise’s own words ‘..feeling welcome, especially when away from home, really does matter to me..’ Her words were matched with positive action throughout our stay to achieve maximum customer care. This is a good place to stay it provides a great base at a fair price with hard working management and support staff. We found it met all our needs and are very happy to recommend Toowong Central Apartments. Remember if there is an issue that crops up (wherever you choose to stay) always address it there and then, invariably it will be immediately resolved, from my experience most hosts want to do the right thing; so often I read reviews (and I read a lot of them) where travelers complain about things AFTER leaving the accommodation. My approach (see my other reviews) is taking time to communicate with your hosts either to praise or raise points of concern. Fellow TripAdvisor’s, together we can make improvements (if need be) and so enhance the traveling experience for all – we can do this! A final thought: I have found that throughout our travels, my wife and I, over a number of decades now, and numerous countries we’ve visited that it is always valuable (and often proves practically beneficial) to take time and try to get to know your hosts a little – even on the shortest of stays; being interested in and being kind to those that host us, I’ve found, really makes a positive difference to all of us as we meet, greet, share and engage meaningfully with others on life’s journey and our traveling adventures; this is of course even more important as we still continue to learn about and to live with, the on-going impact of Covid-19. Had a recent stay for a medical appointment. The staff were very accommodating with my mobility needs. Very friendly, and the units are very close to toowoong shopping centre which was very convenient. There are also a great range of budget priced good eateries within walking distance.

Our latest stay at the Toowong Central Apartments was for four nights this time and as comfortable as usual. Manager Jack was his normal welcoming, helpful and pleasant self and remembered things we talked about during our previous visits (probably 15+ in the past seven years). The room was great for a long stay - spacious and featuring everything we needed - comfortable bed, fully stocked kitchen area, TV, couch, table and chairs in lounge area, bathroom with shower and supplies, a/c, free, unlimited wifi and a patio/verandah with table and chairs. Under cover parking, one street from Toowong Village and Sherwood Rd/High Street shops and eateries. Train and bus stops one street away so easy travel to UQ, Indooroopilly etc and Brisbane City. A 5-10 min walk to the Brisbane River and Regatta Hotel. The only downside for us is that accessing the accommodation requires climbing a flight of steps ... worth it though - we keep returning!…

Chose Toowong Central as we booked well ahead and if something unforseen happened with sufficient notice would get our money back. The apartment block is very convenient both to transport and Toowong Village shopping center. The rooms are quite spacious, clean and serviced daily if needed. There are some signs of wear and tear but this must be expected so was no bother. Check in was pleasant.
