We stayed here as a family and had a great time. The staff were friendly and the room was clean and tidy. Great central location near Westend and Southbank. They have cool facilities including pool, spa, basketball court, pool table and table tennis 🏓. They’ve a bar and good shared toilets and showers. The hallway and room did have a slight strange smell and the beds weren’t the best, however cheap and cheerful. #brisbanebackers #exploring #peachytravellers #travelreviewers

Working in Mackay paid me enough to allow me to have a month's holiday in Brisbane, truly a new World city. Its location and free very regular shuttle bus service to Roma and With Bank meant I could walk round the Parklands every morning, do all the free Hopper ferries, walks, guided tours, and other sightseeing, and end up at South Bank every afternoon where I could spend a few hours before going back to the hostel enjoy TV room, films, free wifi, books and small library, loungers by the pool and the free breakfast. The best thing for me were the brilliant staff who were unfailingly helpful, friendly and cheerful, especially Iris, Mitch, Johan and Lara. I hope you all stay safe and well in this global health crisis and can operate in the future when normal life resumes.

Room Tip: Unless you want the music and life above the bar, ask for a room next to the road as mine was...

I have been here for five weeks. The location in West End perfectly fits to enjoy the close West End area with its Restaurants und urban Shops. But also for the 15 minutes walk down to South Bank Parklands, or the city highest Point ‘Highgate Hill Park’. The employees were always friendly to me. The location is mostly clean. Cleaned every day also the kitchen. The Cleaning-Team is doing a great job. Pool, spa and sportsarea are just fine. The bed could be better stabilized.

The hostel is nice: good vibes, things to do, nice bedroom. Seems like home, and the staff was friendly and not nanny like most of hostel in Australia. I didn’t have 5 star because one evening I found a bunch of idiot from outside at the bar, Australians, annoying the guests, completely drunk, and no one from the hostel did say anything or kick them out. Pretty annoying saw that scene. For the rest everything fine, keep going like thath guys 👌🏻.
