The Point is a very nice hotel, pleasant surroundings and very helpful staff. We stayed for 3 days to visit the city of Brisbane, location not ideal as bit of a walk to the ferry station to cross river to the city centre, not helped by the closure of Dockside which is nearby. Rooms were lovely, very clean and comfortable and cracking views across to the city, we were located on 11th floor. Despite being adjacent to busy road is was quiet. If had to make a negative comment we found the cost of food and drink at the hotel very expensive and so avoided , a pint of local beer was a ridiculous price, 16-20 dollars. Reception staff were very helpful at all times.

Whilst the staff were lovely the hotel itself is a bit out of the way (we were forever getting Ubers or driving) and it is exceptionally dated. We were u see the impression this was a 5* hotel. It may have been 20 years ago but everything is in need of modernisation

quiet location just near the Story Bridge hotel, easy access but the car parking can be a bit tight so if hiring a car get a smaller one. 10 min walk to the Story Bridge Hotel. beds are comfy but the pillows are too soft. Found the shower halo a bit odd. Staff were all very nice, only ordered room service for lunch, it was quick, hot and yummy

I cannot say enough about what a wonderful stay we had at the Point Brisbane Hotel. It was a very nice property – kept immaculate, with nice size rooms, a sitting area, and balcony that overlooked the river. The bed, linens and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size with a great shower and hairdryer. The room had a nice fridge, and also a safe. Also, present on property is a wonderful pool that was nicely shaded. This was wonderful with the heat of the sun in Brisbane. They had a nice workout room, free covered parking, and complementary laundry, with soap supplied. The hotel just offered so many nice amenities. But above and beyond, I must mention the staff! They above all, made this the most wonderful hotel stay -I think we’ve ever had, and that is a big statement because we travel a lot. I want to mention a few of them here because they truly went above and beyond. First, we were so impressed with the hotel manager, and housekeeping supervisor. We had a small concern when we were there and they both made it a priority to address it and made a point to follow up on it-which was much appreciated. Ravi, Juan, Alex, Joe and Imogene were just wonderful at the coffee bar. They were so kind, professional, and made such an effort and made sure we had all we needed. Also Ben at the desk equally gave superb service. I learned the hotel is family/privately owned. It is very apparent they take pride in what they offer and their efforts made our stay fabulous!!

I have stayed at The Point many times over the past 12 or so years. I stay for both work and pleasure. It’s a great location, rooms are modern, and some rooms have a bath. It’s a short walk to the Story Bridge Hotel, ferries, and cafes. The restaurant serves delicious food, coffee, and beer on tap. The pool area is lovely and relaxing. I’ll definitely be back.

Great staff! Particularly thanks to Manager on Duty, Mr Nitesh Pokhrel, who was super supportive and shifted me to a more quiet room (although still a lot of traffic noise), which had a walk-in-shower that l needed due to mobility issues.

A top end hotel. Close to river but not bang smack in the city. Nice touches like fresh flowers in the lobby. Superb amenities. Close to the river which is great to walk along I upgraded to a junior suite (it had a freestanding bath). Very comfortable. Perhaps ask for a room up high as you could hear traffic. Lambert’s restaurant perfect. Swimming pool terrific

Really disappointing experience. I left behind some expensive creams (hair and face amenities) and despite calling several times to see if they were picked up, I was practically hung up on. Just dont understand how there wasnt even a follow up. Completely disillusioned with the hotel staff and their nonchalant attitude.

Great location so close to the city, with beautiful rooms and fantastic rooftop bar. The pool was nice in the morning. Staff are helpful and breakfast at Lamberts was wonderful. Lots of carparking downstairs. It's walking distance to Dockside and the city ferry. We had no problems during our 2 night stay here.
