It was a great location for a family group as it had 3 bedrooms, centrally located for a Brisbane getaway. Close to restaurants, pubs and ferry/city cat wharf stop. Reasonably priced for Brisbane.
The photos are not an accurate representation of the hotel rooms now as the one we had in particular had patched holes in the walls, the cleaning wasn’t great as there were stone and debri on the patio, blinds in poor condition, grouting on the dirty side and carpet in need of replacing to anything but carpet. Dirty finger marks down the doors to bathrooms and dirty glass on doors. Perfect place to mount a tv on the lounge wall but they opted for an old tv stand that sat in front of the window. Broken glass in the cupboard and had to ask for extra towels for the two kids booked in.
Pool area great and the kids loved it as did the grandies.
If you want somewhere on the reasonable price side and centrally located that can accommodate a larger group this is the place.

This was our 6th stay at Bridgewater Apartments. Apartments are spacious and well equipped. Although a little dated , they are gradually being refurbished. We keep going back for the location , beautiful pool and the terrific, friendly and courteous staff. There are several reasonable priced good dining options, Mikoto + Frida Kahlo's Summer House in the next street. Also an authentic French pastisserie Christian Jaques Boulanger just down the street under the Story Bridge.. (Go early, there's always a queue!)

We stayed here for 4 days. Welcome from staff was lovely. She was r ally informative. The apartment was comfortable but limited on what it offered. It also needed updating. Kitchen and bathroom cupboards cracked and marked. Bathroom drains were a little smelly from time to time. It gave us a base which was fine butt would not stay again.

Stayed 3 nights in a 3 bed apartment. Two of the bedrooms had extremely uncomfortable beds due to their age. The main was fine.
Carpet worn, stove top dirty as was the alfoil covered trays in the oven. The garbage bin was filthy and in need of a good clean.
Leaking air con in bedroom, wet carpet. Wet washing was left in washing machine.
The outside table was broken and we saved our granddaughters fingers many times from being caught between glass and rim of table.
TBH the worse self contained unit I have stayed in. The apartment was so well worn I actually couldn't believe they charge $400 a night for something in such poor condition.
Charged an extra $45 for for car parking in a tandem spot no-one else could use
Nice outlook from a smaller than expected balcony and pool lovely.

My family and I stayed here during a business trip to Brisbane from Nov 20 till Mar 21, in a fantastic 5th floor, 2 bed, 2 bath,1 car apartment overlooking the city and Brisbane River. Apartment was clean, (and regularly cleaned each week) with staff friendly and helpful. Facility also houses a giant pool, gym and sauna.
The apartments are located within a short 10mins walk to city with river cats operating 7 days pw along the Brisbane River. Family friendly Story Bridge Hotel is also nearby.
Looking forward to returning real soon.

We stayed at Bridgewater Apartments for a 3 night holiday. When we tried to check in, the staff member was on the phone for 10 mins talking with someone before acknowledging us. Then he started checking us in but stopped to take another 10 minute phone call before finally working with us. There was nobody else waiting. Just us. When we got in the room the rubbish bin was full and the dishes were dirty. Later in the stay there was a leak in the bathroom sink that flooded the floor. All our towels were used to mop up the leak and the hot water was turned off until a plumber could get in to help us. New towels were not supplied. We eventually went down to reception to complain and we were given new towels later in the afternoon. We tried to check out at 8:15 but the front desk doesn’t open until 8:30 and nobody was answering the after hours number. We were trying to get help cause we put the key in the early checkout box but then couldn’t get our car out of the basement parking cause you need you room card to get down the elevator. The apartments are nice and the layout is great. Loved the pool and the location. Customer service was disappointing though.

Response from Gerard Knight, General Manager at Bridgewater Apartments
Responded 4 Jan 2022
Hi Dann and thank you for staying with us and for providing feedback. We are please to read that you enjoyed the location and the amazing facilities we offer our guests. I am so sorry that I didn't get to chat with you during your stay. Whilst I was aware of the leak that we had fixed, I was unaware of the the other service issues and would have loved to have been able to find some way to apologise formally. We have some new team members training at the moment but there are really no excuses for the errors that were made on arrival. As a serviced apartment style building we do not offer a 24hr reception service and our hours are posted in as many places as we can think of, so that guests know when there is help on immediate hand verses having to call the on-site manager to come and help. The after hours answering service is a 24hr service and again our apologies that someone did not respond in a timely fashion. We certainly hope you made it home safely. Please accept our sincere apologies for the items that went wrong and we hope you will stay again. Please contact us directly and refer to these issued and we will aim to make amends with an upgrade. Warm best wishes and happy new year. Gerard Knight.

Beware of this business!
We booked a 4 night stay some months ago in the neighbouring accommodation - Bridgewater Terraces. Our favourite place to stay in Brisbane for many years. Unbeknownst to us, Bridgewater Apartments has now taken over the management of the Terraces as well, so they just moved us into the high riser, a completely different property, without informing us.
We had no choice but to check in on the day of arrival. I voiced my disappointment and the lack of communication but was told we were `upgraded` from a 2 to a 3 bedroom unit.
And what an upgrade it was...
We were greeted by a terrible fish cooking smell. The kitchen was dirty, crockery and cutlery grimy, rubbish in the draws. Bathrooms and shower recesses are very tired looking. Mould, silicon peeling, not clean.
Internet didn`t work, got `fixed` but kept dropping out due to 2 dodgy cables that ran 2 meters across our kitchen bench along the sink!
Doorknobs falling off, blinds broken, some matresses on their last leg. And the list goes on.
We were on the 5th floor, great views but 24 hour noise pollution from the bridge.
We communicated all this to the managment which agreed to `look into it`.
Nothing ever happened.

Uneven floors, inconvenient layout, a small work desk that is also the television stand and saggy bed. Not to mention the paper thin walls. We felt the cost of the room was cheap and now understand why, although we believe it wasn’t even worth that much.

We were disappointed with the state of the two bedroom unit in which we stayed two nights. It was actually a single unit dual shared with a one bedroom - that was fine, but the whole place needs a good clean, repainting and tiling and replacement of rusted dishwasher. The curtains were badly stained and the table tops were smeary and felt unclean. Carpet has stretched and is wrinkled and needed a decent vacuum. Very poorly maintained.
Pool was good. Gym very small, but ok.
Staff were friendly.
Location was not great for us. Had to use Uber and taxis to get to shops. However, there is a dairy and restaurants/bar close by.
Great view of Story Bridge.

I would avoid this apartment at all cost we were a family of 5 adults travelling. I don’t believe that I have ever seen an apartment that was so bad. It was the smell leading to the lifts with dirty carpets. Everything looked old and tired. We had booked 3 small apartments. I refused to stay there and ended up at the Constance which was lovely. I was charged for one night which I was furious about but I booked with booking.com the Manager Gerard was kind and tried to help but it was awful. It has taken me a long time to write this review as I was so upset.

I think it should be ok to fit in your car but m not really sure if you have anything on the roof. we used a Toyota Kluger which fitted in easily in the parking lot.
Hi. Yes, free undercover parking was available when we last stayed in March 2016. Double check when booking. One car parking spot per unit is allocated and reception will advise which parking spots are available when booking in - you should receive a note to leave on your dash to verify you are a paying guest at Bridgewater.
