Room is clean and comfortable with a fridge but small. Can hear other rooms tv. In a good location in Brisbane city. If you're just wanting a bed for the night it is just that. I personally would pick other places before this one

Average hotel

Good points are: its clean. The location is really good. At the city center. Bad points: room was too small. I have not been in any room as small as this one before! The bathroom was also too small. The provided shampoo was hardly enough for one person and we were 2 in the room!…

Great hotel great location

We shared a twin room, sure it was smallish, however the beds were comfy, the bathroom was great and everything else was fantastic. Great location right in the CBD walking distance to everything. Would certainly stay here again when in Brisbane.

In the heart of the city

Rooms are very clean, cozy and comfortable. Price is amazing. In the heart of Brisbane CBD. Close to the mall, casino, river and public transportation. The staff are helpful and courteous. The room i stayed in had a great view of George Street.

Has been upgraded, but.....

Up goes the grade & up goes the price. Picked a bad weekend, apparently two so called civilised men were about to knock the S#@*t out of each other, so, they upped the pricing, $285 for 2 nights. And, to add insult to injury their billboard outside said "Vacancies". Price…

We welcome you honest feedback about your most recent stay at the hotel, we would like you to know that the increase in price for the evenings in questions was a simple matter of keeping in line with market value. We have not increased our rates as a result of the hotels recent renovations. We can confirm that our system does show your previous 21 stays at the hotel and we would like to once again thank you for your loyalty. It would be a shame if you moved away from the hotel, if we are lucky enough to have you stay with the hotel again please request to have a room on the first or second floors. Looking at your previous stays I think that you are used to being in the rooms on the first two floors of the hotel, these are the rooms that are currently fitted out with the pod machines. I see this hotel has parking listed, is it free?

They have parking however subject to availability. You'll have to recheck at reception. They do have a second parking option not far from the hotel if parking at the hotel is full. Extra charge for each parking options.

I'm a regular visitor to Brisbane, but have always stayed at the Ibis near this hotel. My brother and father have recommended to try this hotel. so I will be staying for 2 nights in April. as i an a big man is there anything i should know bout the hotel? and do they offer room upgrades? any sugfgestions to maximise my enjoyment of the hotel? if i find they are better than the ibis i may make this my regular place for my brisbane trips

Don't know what size bedroom you have at home. We stayed in 308 and yes it's a bedroom. you can sit on a desk but it's not convenient to chill. Next time i would prefer a room at a higher floor wrt the street noice. I'm 1.87m and for me the bed was oké.

What is breakfast? Is it a buffet?

No, far from it. You are given a voucher for $ 12.00 to spend at the cafe. This gives you the basic bacon & eggs only. Not what we expected !!

I have made a reservation at George Williams for 2 nights from 16 Sept to 18 Sept 2015. We are coming there during your peak winter season. How cold will it be in the hotel lobby, restaurants and bar ? Will it be comfortable to walk outside till 10 pm at night ? Are there any Indian Restaurants nearbly serving dinner by 9 pm entry ?. How far is the Brisbane Hop on hop off explorer bus stop from George Williams ?

All areas of the hotel are heated and will be comfortable. You'll need a jacket to go out at night but it will be chilly rather than freezing.
