Great motel, nice room, friendly and helpful staff. Would write more but my last effort disappeared in the middle of the review. Will recommend this motel! Wayne the Manager was very pleasant and helpful
Smell in room is absolutely terrible. - like someone chained smoked in here for days. Bathroom also smells awful when toilet is flushed. Tiny rooms which are old and dated. Glad I was only there for one night until my usual hotel had vacant. No one at reception at all - check in over the phone? Stains all over pillow. Verdict: avoid at all costs.
Three C,s. Cleanliness, comfortable and convenient to cafes and restaurants a short walking distance away. Room was spotless and I’m fussy. Bed was comfortable. Easy access to the airport and cruise terminal.
We recently stayed here because of cirque curious tickets purchased. What a fantastic motel, had triple room queen and single bed comfortable to sleep sitting area with 3 chars and table to relax on was a bonus as well . Nice looking bathroom as well as tea coffee making facilities and cutlery and cups if required. Checked in by very friendly and professional gentlemen gave us low down on key cards lifts after hours procedures ect and had handy maps and great idea for food and walking sights to see. I did my research before booking and was definitely assured I made the right decision, the big top circus top was literally across the road. As we walked towards booked restaurant we saw lots of eating place chinease subway burger joints Mexican staple and sushi places as well as an awesome looking IGA with all the bells and whistles. We had dinner at lovely but very busy Italian restaurant at Portside wharf. Pizza was divine but service very slow I know it was busy but pizza is pizza, but none the less it was in a lovely setting right near water and the smells of beautiful food wafting through was great and the staff were all pretty friendly, I love the fact that most were Italian as well. We literally walked 5 min then to where big top circus was, fantastic. Overall what a gem of a motel near some lovely sights to see. If the cirque comes back there we’ll be back for sure.…
My son and I stayed at the Airport Ascot for one night in December 2019, before an early flight from Brisbane Airport. This place had me from check in. In a classic stuff-up, I managed to book myself in for the following night, so had no reservation. I've been in similar situations in 5 star hotels and stood there for 20 minutes negotiating fees and cancellations....here, they had me in my room in two minutes flat, having just switched the reservation. It was appreciated. The rooms are fairly modern, clean and. (surprisingly, with a main road next door), quiet. We had a twin with a queen and single bed.. Standards were generally higher than I'd have expected at this price range. Internet was free and very fast. So! No problems. This is a good choice before a flight or a cruise.…
