We recently stayed here because of cirque curious tickets purchased. What a fantastic motel, had triple room queen and single bed comfortable to sleep sitting area with 3 chars and table to relax on was a bonus as well . Nice looking bathroom as well as tea coffee making facilities and cutlery and cups if required. Checked in by very friendly and professional gentlemen gave us low down on key cards lifts after hours procedures ect and had handy maps and great idea for food and walking sights to see. I did my research before booking and was definitely assured I made the right decision, the big top circus top was literally across the road. As we walked towards booked restaurant we saw lots of eating place chinease subway burger joints Mexican staple and sushi places as well as an awesome looking IGA with all the bells and whistles. We had dinner at lovely but very busy Italian restaurant at Portside wharf. Pizza was divine but service very slow I know it was busy but pizza is pizza, but none the less it was in a lovely setting right near water and the smells of beautiful food wafting through was great and the staff were all pretty friendly, I love the fact that most were Italian as well. We literally walked 5 min then to where big top circus was, fantastic. Overall what a gem of a motel near some lovely sights to see. If the cirque comes back there we’ll be back for sure.

We stayed here years ago and was very impressed. It was small but super clean, convenient to the airport and close to Hamilton restaurants. We stayed here mid September after an interstate holiday for 1 night and i'm afraid the standards have dropped. Wayne was nice in all my dealings there was no problem there and even without a receptionist there due to covid it was all very easy. My problem was it was dirty. I realise Covid must of affected this place terribly and i feel sad for them but the room we were in 209 needed a good clean, sugar soap the walls especially the bathroom, there were dirty marks which were removable (i tried) all over the walls. I thought queen beds went out years ago but we were still in a Queen bed which is not a big deal but we usually only book king beds as we are both tall. There were also tradies downstairs in the carpark chatting at 7am which woke us up. I wouldn't stay here again unfortunately.

Booked the room on line which was easily done. On the day of our booking the motel deducted costs from our credit card and we received further instructions to assess our room, after hours, via outside safe by sms. We obtained our room card without any issues. We booked a standard queen room. The room was basic but well maintained and had a great shower. Motel is within easy walking distance of local restaurants and a Woolworths. Great place for a overnight stay. I would recommend this motel to friends

We have been regular and loyal guests at this motel for a number of years now and we don’t expect everything to go right all the time but recently everything has gone very wrong. Last time we stayed there was a terrible odour in our room and none of the lamps worked because obviously the room hadn’t been checked for these issues. We reported this to Wayne the manager when we were checking out and he told us he was happy to take that information and fix the problem. This time we checked in and our toilet didn’t flush. Wayne came to the room with a bucket of water and told us just to flush it using that. We said we weren’t happy with this level of accommodation and we would like a change of room or compensation for the inconvenience. He was clearly shocked by our response and told us they were fully booked and the owner would have to be consulted about any compensation and it was highly unlikely. Needless to say we have never heard from an owner. Or any more from Wayne about our ruined night’s stay. We had pre booked several nights of future accommodation and we have now cancelled all our forward bookings and will never return. What was once a fabulous place to stay is now a trap for unsuspecting victims who will pay for any level of service this mob care to offer. Beware when booking this place, your room could have hidden surprises (like a non functioning toilet) and you will pay full price regardless.

After an earlier review of a complete lack of room perpetration I was extremely nervous about staying here. In preparation I made alternate plans but fortunately I didn't need them.

I made my booking on WOTIF, the welcome at reception was quick and efficient. The room was basic, tea and coffee, queen bed and basic toiletries.

The room was clean enough for its age, the bathroom could use some new grout and a bigger tv wouldn't go astray.

It's located near some nice restaurants near the Wharf, all a short stroll.

I feel I paid a premium for this place but I understand we are coming out of a pandemic. There is a sign on the door saying to contact them directly to get a better rate.

I would stay there again but it would be price dependant

I only give one star reviews when it is ESPECIALLY bad.

Showed up for my booking at around 9.30pm as I had a 6am flight the next morning. Went to the room and it hadn't been cleaned, stunk of cigarettes, towels all over the floor, unmade bed, the place was a mess. Went to reception, where I was told there were no more rooms and I'd have to try and find something else close by. OR, it was also suggested to try one of the rain damaged rooms without carpet. I said "Mate I made the booking weeks ago" and the response was "We only received the booking on Wednesday". HAHAHA, yeh right so three days isn't enough to clean a room then.

When I, quite rightfully complained about the situation, I was told "Look, I've said sorry and things happen in life. How you respond to them is up to you". Not only is it an absolute dump of a place, there is zero customer service as well. Spent the next hour and a half driving around trying to find somewhere else to stay, wonderful night I had. Thanks Wayne.

AVOID.

Motel was clean and one of the few that sleep 3 adults comfortably in one room. Even though it was on a main road it was quiet and easy to check into if you’re arriving late as your keys are in a safe outside which they email you the code for. Very handy to the Brisbane airport.

Smell in room is absolutely terrible. - like someone chained smoked in here for days. Bathroom also smells awful when toilet is flushed. Tiny rooms which are old and dated. Glad I was only there for one night until my usual hotel had vacant. No one at reception at all - check in over the phone? Stains all over pillow. Verdict: avoid at all costs.

The room was very nicely presented and clean. It has an elevator that works! It’s on a busy road but we didn’t hear much traffic being back from the road a bit. Shops are within walking distance.
The bed was comfortable and the price was mid range for the area. Would stay again.
