Everything about this hotel was Everything about this hotel was perfect. The location, the staff, the room amenities, the choice of restaurants accessible on foot. The beautiful botanical gardens in front of it. Loved it. It was also only 20 minutes by car to the airport.

The Royal on the Park opposite the Brisbane Botanic Gardens is a great place to stay if you wish to explore Brisbane. Our room was spacious, clean and the service we received throughout our 6 night stay was excellent. It is a 5 - 10 minute walk to the heart of the CBD and close to many restaurants. A free circuit bus is available opposite the Hotel and runs every 10 mins during the day. This will take to you to the heart of the City, the walk bridge to South Bank and a short walk to the river to catch a free Kitty Cat ferry. Once the new Kangaroo Point Green Bridge, a walk bridge across the Brisbane River, is completed (circa 2024) it will enable even quicker access to Southbank.from The Royal.

Nice Rooms. Large beds. Bonus. Friendly Staff. Perfect Location. Easy to walk into the city from here. Pool was lovely and clean. We got to relax in the spa with a drink which was wonderful. The black out curtains made us sleep in. Had no idea of the time the following morning. It was wonderful.

The hotel is located across from the Botanical Gardens, which is convenient, and is a short walk to the major attractions of the city. The staff is caring and kind. The hotel has an interesting history as well. Would recommend highly.

Great unashamedly older style hotel maintained immaculately. The check in service was fabulous, the room was excellent and huge for a hotel room, the pool was excellent and not over run, and view over the gardens was excellent. Still a close walk to shops, restaurants and Casino!

Stayed with the family for Two nights. The Rooms were clean and very quiet. Great Location. The staff are friendly and informative. Room very quiet with nice view of the botanical gardens. Definitely will stay there again. We asked if some of our friends could leave their baggage in our room, and they were very obliging. The taxi rank outside was handy and all the shops etc, was a short walk away. QUT very well located just a short walk away.

Thankfully I was only staying one night as that was enough. On entering hotel looks ok, rooms however totally different story. Rooms severely outdated, no soundproofing anywhere, so could hear direct conversation between the couple in the next room. Could hear conversations from rooms as I was waiting for the lift. Noisy from floor above, outside in the corridor and next door. Didn’t sleep at all, which is a shame as the bed was comfy. I certainly would not have been staying longer than one night. Positively great location

My return visit didn’t disappoint. Beautiful hotel in a good location. Shame we didn’t eat in the hotel as the menus weren’t to our liking. The bar menu was good however and reasonably priced. Well done.

Loved the outlook over the botanical gardens, so central to everything and easy walk to Queen Street Mall and Riverstage. Classic style, comfiest beds, spacious rooms. Markets and Food stalls across the road on Sunday were also fabulous. Will definitely return again.
