Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

On the day of our flight, the airline re-scheduled it to a much later time, which didn't suit us. I rang up the hotel if it's possible to move our booking two weeks later. They did... without charging us for late cancellation. Being a long-time Accor member probably helped. Our Botanic Garden View apartment with separate bedroom and ensuite was a very pleasant surprise. The hotel's location across the Gardens (and also walking distance to restaurants, shopping, etc) was perfect. Check-in/out was very friendly but professional. Definitely enjoyed my stay.

This hotel was our first two night stay on our 3 week leg of Australia. We picked this as we knew we were going to be recovering from jet leg. It turned out to be a nice apartment room - washing machine, dryer, iron, lovely terrace looking over the botanical gardens, I would say the bathrooms are extremely dated and it is what let’s the hotel down. Otherwise it was a good place for us to recover, see beautiful sites, just a bit dated.

Excellent location in front of the Botanical gardens, away from the hustle and bustle. Rooms are large, styled simply and quiet. The views into the Botanical gardens in the morning is a sight for morning sleepy eyes. My check in was less than ideal with the staff asking if I was at the right Sebel before finding my reservation. My check out was much better, with excellent customer relations.

Well this is a top location. Views over the river and park are the best self contained rooms. Close to Egal Street food places and close to the shopping mall. Close to the ferries to get a different view hop on one, you will love it. See pics of our view over the park.

We stayed here for one night on the way back from the Sunshine Coast. An excellent location right in the heart of Brisbane. Only let down by a truly bizarre parking system - I do understand that this is out of the hands of the hotel itself. Our room was a little dated, but had everything we needed. No free wifi in the rooms is disappointing and should be rectified...its 2018!! We would probably stay again for the location, but not if we had a car - too much hassle.

Whilst we were only in Brisbane for the day, this place was hugely disappointing compared to what we had already witnessed and stayed in. It seems that there is only one person who pretty much runs the show. He was a receptionist, room service and pool service etc - it was pretty funny for the kids to see him do everything. Rooms were pretty clean which was the main thing and we were only there for the night fortunately. Go for the club sani though - that was very nice

Booked this for our 15th wedding anniversary. Could not fault the polite and respectful service from the front desk to the lovely gentleman who surprised us with card and delicious complimentary chocolate platter delivered to our room, to the lovely lady in the restaurant. Not your typical ticky taky hotel, loved the old world charm, great amenities which my husband took every advantage of. Best hotel bed I have ever slept in. 180 degree view of kangaroo point cliffs, Southbank beach and of course the uninterrupted view of the botanical gardens. Thanks for a memorable and enjoyable stay.

Staff provided excellent service during the whole stay. The restaurant was also high quality and good service. The location also was perfect being a short walk to Eagle street. Can certainly recommend to other potential customers.

Dear Mr Simon McGrath Chief Operating Officer Accor Hotels Pacific Thanks for your email to me, received today, asking to complete the 7minute customer feedback questionnaire. I thought it would be timely to kill two birds with one stone, so to speak, and complete this TripAdvisor review to address my customer experience; My stay last week was my third stay at this property. Pros; great location, close to the university campus, Eagle St Pier, and S Eastern corner of the city CBD Block. Great view out over the Botanical Gardens. Nice balconies. Cons: The only contact we guests have with the staff were the front desk reception staff. During my stay the service wasn’t bad .....just indifferent. The front office staff seemed bored, disaffected and uninterested in helping. The rooms have a great view, and it’s wonderful to have a full size one-bedroom apartment, but the apartments are truly beginning to age now. While they are still tidy and functional, they are now also just old and tired. So don’t expect to be dazzled with a luxurious look. But it’s still nice... especially if you like a nice spacious apartment plus balcony.
