I have previously stayed at Goldcoast Voco and have never had a disappointing stay, so decided to try Voco Brisbane. It is a fantastic hotel with its convenient location we took a short walk to Queen street to take in some retail therapy and enjoy some lunch. Well -priced quiet rooms, and friendly welcoming service the moment you step in the hotel.

The hotel's attention to detail and thoughtful touches make it a standout choice which was mirrored from stays I have experienced at the Goldcoast hotel.

We took advantage of an off peak deal with breakfast included and stayed the night to celebrate a wedding anniversary . We also Enjoyed some delicious room services a very juicy burger with perfectly cooked chips and butter chicken.

I would without hesitation stay again.

Only negative was shower hose leaked and sprayed everywhere but switching to rain shower head resolved the issue.

Warm welcome, showed appreciation and recognition to an IHG member.
Rooms are nice & surprisingly quiet. So got an excellent sleep while staying here.
Staff are friendly, ate both nights in the hotel and found the food was tasty and offers good value for money. Will definitely stay again while in BNE. Worth a try if you are up that way.

One of IHG's new hotels in Brisbane, located on North Quay over looking the Brisbane River.

This hotel has had a previous life but the rooms have had a makeover and look great.

Spacious with comfortable seating and a great king size bed.

Breakfast was included and the level 2 restaurant was clean and fresh with views to the river. All of your breakie favourites available. Staff are super friendly.

On sites parking is available got $36 a day. A bargain in the city! The car is a little tight and has a height restriction, so best to call ahead if you are unsure.

Easy walk to the Queen Street Mall.

Well priced with Staff that want to make sure you enjoy your stay.

We have a lovely, quiet, comfortable 3 night stay at Voco. The staff at reception, around the hotel and at breakfast were friendly and helpful. Thank you very much. The room was certainly big enough for our family of 2 adults and 1 child with a queen bed and a single, and we were out and about enjoying the sights each day anyway. The hotel has a great buffet breakfast, heaps of options with a chef there to cook your eggs and a barista to make your coffee. It has table tennis, a gym and a pool, although the pool is not heated so it was a little chilly this time of year and we decided not to use it. There is also a nice bar on the ground level and you can apparently access a speakeasy located in the sister hotel from the Voco, although we did not check this out. There are nice views of the river and city from the restaurant on level 2 and from the rooms facing that direction. There is a lot of construction around the hotel and pretty much most of the city really. But in saying that we still found the rooms quiet and the beds comfy and we had a great sleep each night. There are many eateries close by and there is a new complex next door - 300 George Steet (also contains the W Hotel) with a few restaurant choices if you dont want to wander too far. We ate at Phat Boy here and really enjoyed it. We also walked to Burnett lane, less than 10 minutes away, and had lovely pastries and coffee at Lune Crossanttani and had fabulous Asian fusion food at Mr Wabi, which includes some amazing Vegan food (Crisby "Duck" pancakes!). For getting around we took Ubers at times but also trains from Central station and Roma Street stations which are a 10-minute walk away. South Bank is a close less than 10 minute walk over the river where you can find the big ferris wheel, brisbane sign, city beach/parklands and many eateries plus art galleries and the queenland museum.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Voco Hotel in Brisbane for a few nights, and we were pleasantly surprised by our experience. Initially, we had been loyal to a different hotel, but a friend's suggestion led us to try out Voco, and we're grateful for that recommendation.

The staff at Voco were incredibly nice, friendly, and welcoming, providing us with excellent service throughout our stay. The hotel also offered a great selection of food and drinks, catering to everyone's tastes and preferences.

The rooms were not only very clean but also well-equipped with excellent facilities. What impressed us the most was the reasonable and affordable price, making it accessible to many people. We truly enjoyed our time at Voco and would highly recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and affordable stay in Brisbane.

Thanks to the entire VOCO Brisbane team who made our stay very comfortable, from the moment we reached. Each and everyone always made sure to fulfill our needs and even the Duty Manager did not mind looking after our luggage himself.
The location at Brisbane River just 3 Min. walking from CBD shopping streets, just oposite of the Arts & Cultural center offers nice walks. The rooms are comfortable just the bath could be a bit more spacy. But all needed is available. We felt that this team was the most friendly during our 7 weeks trip in NZ and OZ.

I chose the Voco hotel due to the affordable room rate with the inclusion of breakfast. I saw varied reviews so really wasn’t sure what to expect.

The location was great. It’s in between Southbank and cbd so easy walking distance for all the key areas. There was construction and road closures while I was there, but this should be temporary.

The room itself was nice, decent size l, comfortable beds, modern design and good sized bathroom. There were some issues I had with the cleanliness of the room, particular areas of the toilet that hadn’t been cleaned from past guests which I raised but never was attended too even with the daily clean of the room.. (unacceptable for a four star hotel)

Reception staff were friendly and the vibe and ambience of the lobby was nice with free lemon water and a cool bar for a pre - dinner drink.

The breakfast was ok. The selection of items was good and taste was nice. However service was slow, whether it be to have eggs cooked, a coffee made or plates cleared from the table (none of my plates were cleared once while dining there on any given day)

I always love going for a swim if a pool is included and unfortunately this was one of the few times I didn’t use the pool. It was way too cold and needs some definite TLC to bring it back to life.

I understand Voco has recently taken over this hotel, with time and improvements in service and refurbishment of older and tired areas, this hotel has potential. I just won’t be rushing back in the next few months..

Impossible to get a refund of a deposit. Pay it on credit card not debit!!! I’m now on my 5th email and still being passed between different people all asking for the same details. I just want my £160 back! I don’t normally leave bad reviews but we stayed on the 1st April and it is now the 12th May. We left the room immaculate so it can’t be they kept the deposit because of a problem. I’ve been told it’s been refunded twice and nothing has appeared in my account. Disappointed

The staff here were exceptional, we had one issue being the air-conditioning in our room was not cooling effectively, we queried it with staff to see if there was anything we were doing wrong and the manager immediately changed our room, and very generously gave us a free buffet breakfast which was delicious.
Rooms were very clean and refurbished.
The Hotel is in a pretty good location too.

I stayed at the Voco for one night in May 2024.

The hotel is in an older refurbished building down towards the river end of the city. The location is about ten minutes walk up to Queen St Mall. Despite fronting the main arterial road in the area, rooms were quiet and sleep quality good.

Check in was not super-fast, but was friendly and welcoming.

Rooms are larger than many of the newer hotels, and the fitout fairly good. Internet was fast and easy to connect to.

The major concern I have with the premises is the parking, which is a fiasco. Parking is in an space next door and is open to the public. When I arrived it was completely full, so I was forced to park elsewhere until the day's business crowd cleared out, adding more than $60 to the cost of my stay - not such a cheap room after that. The parking garage is tiny, has a 1.8m roof and is ABSOLUTELY NOT SUITABLE for anyone trying to park a larger 4WD vehicle, as it is extremely tight to maneuver and overcrowded. Keep this in mind if you are planning on driving here. Overnight parking is $36.

Otherwise, a good stay and you could do much worse for a few nights in Brisbane.
