Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Disgusting room, cockroaches, holes in the wall, dirty and mouldy. Avoid this place and save yourself an infection. Seriously over priced for such a putrid room. Managers are unfriendly and rude not to mention you’re expected to clean your own room and take out your own rubbish.

I booked a one bedroom apartment and was due to stay on Saturday December 28th, monday morning I am advised by frisco apartments that my booking would be canceled which caused me major inconvenience, nothing was offered for the inconvenience caused (such as a discount etc) if your going to cancel bookings at the last minute at least try to offer something to make up for it. I Will never book with frisco appartments again.

My wife and I stayed in a studio apartment last weekend. Booking was easy with multiple emails with directions, parking arrangements and general information about the property. On arrival the manager was friendly, helpful and welcoming. He even took the time to show my wife how to access the car park and where to park. The room was a little dated but still very comfortable and had all needed amenities. The room was quiet and we had no issues at all. The location was very convenient. Woollies and a bottle shop were just down the road. Restaurants are also in close proximity. It was an easy walk to the CBD and the river. Definitely recommend Frisco as a good value for money place to stay.

I have never been to Brisbane before and booked Frisco apartments online. It turned out to be a great decision. I was travelling alone yet my apartment had its own lounge, dining area, bathroom with washing machine and tumble dryer, fridge and all utensils. What made it better waas Roger at reception who welcomed me to the apartments and also advised on where to go round the city. Definitely clean, friendly reception, and affordable, also near centre for walking.

We stayed at Frisco apartments in a one bedroom unit. The location was great, city edge and a short distance to a supermarket and liquor store. It was an easy walk from Central station after catching the Airport link. All the rooms were a good size and the apartment had a dishwasher, washing machine and a complete kitchen. The open plan living area was really spacious. The apartment complex has a lap pool, sauna and gym. We found the location was quiet and very convenient to walk everywhere in the city. The wifi worked well and the manager was very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed three nights over a weekend. The one bedroom apartment, on floor 5, had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. It was quiet, older style spacious, parking was off street and undercover. The balcony was pleasant for reading or eating a meal at the table. The kitchen had everything needed, plus a dishwasher. The washer and dryer were inside a cupboard next to the bathroom; the appliances were easy to use and in good working order. The bed appeared lower than usual. We needed to call the reception because an alarm went off on the fridge. The staff member was efficient and polite. He explained if it wasn’t something he could fix, he would change us to another room. He located a button inside the fridge and held it down, this resolved the problem. We visited the indoor lap pool but didn’t actually swim, hopefully next time. The building is off the busy Turbot street so avoids major traffic noise, it is close walking distance to both a Woolworths and a Convenience store. A bit further away is Central railway station and further again is Queen Street Mall. These are all within walking distance for most active people. At night we took an Uber to eat at a new restaurant in Newstead and the fare was very reasonable. The building has access by card for security to both main and vehicles entrances. Wifi was easy and came with the room.
