Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Unfortunately the customer service is very poor here. I booked a one night stay for October 21 and advised them I was flying in from Europe around 10.30pm could they advise how I could access my room. I didn’t hear back so my wife in Australia rang them and they said to tell me they would provide an access code to me when I landed and she advised me of that. I arrived and found an email asking me to provide id (which my wife would have supplied if they needed it). I sent off my id and waited all night but never received a response or the access code to a room. I asked for a refund which was refused and no reason given.

Booking was made through booking.com. No instructions for checkin was given by either hotel or booking.com. I rang hotel in the morning to see if we could park 2 cars for our three bedroom apartment. Was told we couldn’t and when I asked about checkin was told there was no reception and I was speaking with after hours service and I would receive a code by text when room was ready. It would access car parking and room. As I had not heard from hotel by 2:15 I rang again. I was then told that I needed to email photo ID before the text would be sent. I asked why I wasn’t told this previously and they advised they were after hours service. Attitude was they didn’t really care. Finally got code at around 2:30pm. We had a function to attend so really only had time to drop and go. We booked a 3 bedroom apartment but was given 2 bedrooms and what I would describe as a cupboard with a rollaway bed in. Wry cold. No extra blankets or pillows were provided for any of the bedrooms. Air con sounded like a jet plane and couldn’t use. 2 lights were not working and the handle to the fridge was off. Requested a tax invoice on 2/7/2023 but to date still haven’t received it some 35 days later.

What a wonderful choice for a stay in Brisbane, The amazing Cameron was very helpful in helping me sort the best accommodation for our family group and ironed out any difficulties before and during our stay. The rooms where clean and spacious a great place to spend time with family, access with codes easy. Great location for services, restaurants, chemist, transport, airport, shopping even a fabulous thai massage a few doors down. The magpies on the deck a little friendly (I even managed to catch one) but not a hassle. Cafe 63 a few steps from the door became the family breakfast place. Had a wonderful time with grandchildren at the Hurcules Street Park, and went to an amazing Monet in Paris show which all generations of our family loved (including the baby) at Northshore. A ferry ride up the river into the city. All within walking distance. Good value for money.

We booked this location at the end of a short holiday break. Arrival instructions were good and we managed to find and move into our room without problem. Then our disappointment began. Could not access the Wi-Fi and the on-call receptionist could not help. The shower was full of mould UGHH!!. The shower cubicle leaked despite evidence of past (very poor) attempts to Silicon the gaps. There was no Kleenex in the room. The coffee machine was unknown brand and only took the supplied capsules which produced awful coffee. We always travel with our own Nespresso capsules. The TV, despite having a network cable, connected to an appropriate socket, only showed free to air broadcast. Finally, the maid came in one day (as expected) and did not clean anything, left only an extra bath mat and no clean towels, did not replace the empty tissue box and did not attempt to make the bed. So, in summary a disappointing experience that could so easily have been much better.

Great Location We can't false the experience staying in this apartment. Supermarket just accross the road, plenty of restaurants in the area. The apartment we are staying is very comfortable and clean. Washing machine and dryer available in the room. Kitchenette also clean. Management from the apartment sent us txt message, how to enter the apartment. Undercover car park. Very safe and secured. Very easy and central to get around.

The accomodation provided a contact free check in and check out. They provided us with a code to enter the premises and no key was required. It was very convenient. The location was great, it was right in front of Coles and walking distance from restaurants. The smallest bedroom was not very comfortable as it was so small and no aircon on the room. The outdoor area was shared by the next door room guests and our children trespassed without knowing. A notice on the door would have been helpful.

We were travelling late and required a 24 hr reception . As it was very late 11.20 pm we selected Domain Apartments due to the above, They made the check in in process very easy, and relieved us of our stress in trying to find somewhere so late. Our room was immaculate and very comfortable. all amenities we needed were available. My only criticism was that although it was advertised with parking, when we arrived all parking spots within the garage were taken. ( it was not listed as limited parking) and as a result we had to park out in the street. Luckily we were able to leave within the Allocated parking time for the street the next morning and were not fined

Just had a one night stay in a 2br apartment to attend Eat Street. Location was perfect, apartment was clean, advertised as having "cable tv" which I assumed was Foxtel but we only had free to air. Tried calling to ask but no one answered. Didn't really affect our stay just for one night though. Great cafe on the corner for breakfast and Coles across the road is very handy. Would definitely recommend Domain!

The apartment was ideally located, clean and tidy. We arrived with the promise of being able to access the entire building with a pin number. We entered the garage and the lift without a hitch, but couldn't enter the room. I tried calling on the number provided, no answer. We thought that there was no one available at the property. We went downstairs and there was, a man at the front desk. He activated the room door and we entered. I went to make a cup of complimentary tea, but no milk was provided. I rang reception and was told that the milk supplies had run out this week. Yet there was a supermarket directly across the road. I guess the only way I was going to have a cuppa, was to go buy some milk. Small details make your stay seamless. The fact that a supplier ran out of milk, shouldn't mean that it was in the too hard basket to use the alternative. Having someone at the apartment to ensure contactless entry is pointless if that someone has not completed the job of activating your door. You cannot expect 5 stars for a part done job, especially when they have asked you to email and provide a photo of credit card and photo ID, we were not informed how secure this would be either. No complaining = no one changing the status quo.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment facing racecourse road on the 2nd floor. It was a spacious room with everything you need including full self contained kitchen, laundry etc, a verandah with full sliding opening doors. We enjoyed our meals out there each day. The secure undercover parking was great addition. The room was exceptionally clean. We found the complex itself was also spotless. The self check in was really easy and communication regarding this was spot on. The apartment is on door step to local restaurants, cafes, Coles all within walking distance. We will definitely stay here again. Cheers
