My first stay inside the Jephson Hotel for 5 nights from 25/07/22 to 30/07/22. I'm immediately impressed on arrival & greeted by friendly guy on the reception desk, I'm given room 210 on the second floor.
On entering room 210 I'm again very impressed with the room, spacious modern & spotless. Impressive modern spacious bathroom with a large walk-in shower & strong water pressure. Large enough balcony to relax, fast WIFI connection & complementary tea & coffee facilities in you room, again good TV with many channels to choose from & a Safe.
The King Size bed was massive like being on a cruise liner & very comfy. Breakfast can be served from the restaurant underneath the hotel named Tiger Tears, your meals/drinks can be either paid for in full or billed to your hotel room & pay on check-out.
Overall a comfortable stay in a convenient location, only a 5 min walk to Toowong Village & gave me time to view some properties around Toowong & surrounding suburbs while visiting from Cairns.
My feedback to the hotel it would be nice if the room rate included breakfast. I will defiantly stay here again when next visiting Toowong.

We had some work to get done out in the 'boondocks of Brisbane, hard , dirty work of a strenuous nature. So we booked a hotel close to the city centre where we could retire and recuperate during time off. The Jephson has an eye catching entrance all clad in my favourite black marble slabs; noticing such things is my life's work. Up the elevators to our well appointed rooms to be met by more beautiful marble, all carefully chamfer edged for safety ( and it stops chipping from rough passage). Yeah, yeah a great big bed to crash down into deep sleep and all to soon to be again reliquished at 5 am for work. Ooow how the body wants to remain in such yawning . It is a moment of yearning to whether the weather or whether to return to slumber. The boss has the winning arguement and the bed will be there when I return this evening. Good it was that the Jephson Hotel has a marvellous restaurant downstairs, catering to the famished coming from work. My thanks extend to the staff of the hotel and to the Restaurant crew who looked after out every need. I can imagine this becoming our base when we work out of Brisbane. Hey, it is close to the entertainment district too, so next time we are planning to catch a South Bank Show.

We booked the 2 bedroom apartment for our family. The apartment was spacious with modern furnishing and spotlessly clean.
There’s a combined washer and dryer on the bathroom which was really useful for our family as we were here for more than a week. There’s also a small dishwasher though we didn’t need to use it. Beds were comfortable and location was quiet and close to shops.

Given the location, I probably wouldn’t stay here unless I had a particular reason to be in the area. That being said, we were in town for a family wedding, and so the location suited us well!
Check in was easy with a very friendly and helpful man on reception who was happy to have a chat.
Rooms were large, comfortable, and very well equipped for what we needed, including an iron, bar fridge, kettle, and very large bed which was wonderful to fall into at the end of the night.
There were also plenty of shops around in the area, although our time here was limited and we didn’t have much of a chance to explore.
There does need to be more parking at the hotel though, as I’m sure it’s an issue for guests during busier periods.
All in all, we were quite happy with our stay here and would happily recommend it to others who, like us, were wanting to be in this area of town.

We relaxed in a very comfortable room on L3 with a bit of traffic noise if you opened the window, but otherwise quiet. Very nice staff. Lots of cheap takeaway Asian cafes nearby with disappointing food (we tried 4). Better to go a few blocks further to the high quality Italian restaurant for dinner.

We chose Jephson Hotel for 2 nights due to its proximity to an event we attended. The direct online booking process was simple and when I needed to make a change, this was easily completed with a phone call. Communication of instructions for our late arrival was clear and parking and access to our room simple. The staff on the front desk were cheerful and helpful when completing check-in and check-out and our room (1 bedroom apartment) was clean and comfortable. The restaurant at the Hotel was closed but there were several cafe's, restaurants and a pub nearby. The train station was also just a few minutes walk away. We would happily stay at Jephson Hotel again.

Hotel is new, clean and furnishings are perfect. Rooms are very dark and beds are comfortable.
There are no laundry facilities at the hotel. I walked a hilly 17minutes to wash clothes (don’t recommend). I think the hotel would benefit by having a communal laundry facility available for guests.
Also parking should be monitored as I was unable to park at facility one night.

Great value Hotel. Free parking which is a bonus in Brisbane as some Hotels charge upwards of $60 per night extra. Very clean, modern and location in Toowong is ideal as only a $20 cab ride to Suncorp and Southbank. We stayed 2 nights in basic room which was very spacious, well equipped with excellent shower size and facilities. All staff were friendly and efficient. Will be our Go To for weekend trips to Brissie in future. Excellent Japanese restaurant on ground floor

For a change we decided to stay near family in Toowong. The Jephson is steps away from Toowong shops, restaurants, railway station and minutes to the river and CBD.
Newly refurbished with large rooms and apartments all with balconies, this boutique hotel is the ideal quiet retreat for a weekend away, holiday or business travel. A big plus, free undercover parking.
The hotel Restaurant Hooch & Co has an amazing bar, great food and friendly staff. Unfortunately due to Covid we couldn’t experience the dinner menu but we were allowed fabulous takeaway from sister restaurant Barolo.
What a great weekend away!

The hotel is clean, fresh and the staff are most obliging. We stayed there as it was close to where our daughters wedding was to take place. Had no problem parking under the hotel. It is very close to Toowong Village Shopping Centre and there are plenty of eating places in the vicinity including a Japanese Restaurant downstairs I would recommend that as place to stay as the city is just a short bus or ferry ride away. 5 stars all the way
