I have stayed a Colonial Village Taigum 3 or 4 times now, and each time I have found the staff, facilities and location just perfect. I have stayed here as a single, with my wife, with extended families, and even as part of a larger group utilising various accomodations. The Cabins are well maintained; so too the Motel Rooms (where...

Great Value and Clean. Staff are always friendly we have stayed a few times now as it suits us, it is quiet, close enough to the airport, close to the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, and close enough to Brisbane itself and close to public transport - buses and trains. For us, most everything worked, the air-conditioner, the hot water - only...

We had a girls weekend for the Netball at Brisbane Entertainment Centre.... Colonial Village was in the best location. Close to the BEC and also to Chermside for some shopping. We stayed in a Villa - the beds were a little small, lucky I'm short, so fit nicely in the bunks. My friend is a bit taller so even the...

The place was really cool and kind of retro. It was clean and the service was great. The location is out of the way, which I didn't realize when I booked, but we found a train station less than a mile away and used that to go into the city. I loved the layed back feel of the place.

Went to shower before night out and NO water for a shower, not a drop. Asked reception and their explanation was that the room had not been used the previous day so a "bubble" in the pipes, that did not help us though as we could not shower (2 females) - unacceptable Air-Con did not work properly - the air...

Our 2 bedroom cabin was clean and comfortable, and bigger than we expected! The location was very handy, close to shops and highways yet still nice and quiet. Best part was the ladies in the cafe. Always so friendly and welcoming. And great food on offer there too. Would recommend these cabins. Great value for the low price (we booked...

We stayed 1 night. Chose this place for its proximity to Entertainment Centre which was an easy 3klm walk. Accomm was ok, we had a basic motel room. Amenities were good, everything you'd get in a more upmarket hotel in Brusbane city - kitchenette, Foxtel, aircon which was lovely as it was hot! Bed comfy, room a tad outdated but...

Really enjoyed our stay here! The price was great of $75 for a compact room & the room was awesome. It was compact but still big enough to put your luggage & move through the room easily. Everything was very new. The pool looked inviting & the gym was great! Staff were friendly too.
