Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Clean place and friendly cleaners who worked hard. We arrived early and I was quite happy to wait for our room to be ready, no issue there as I was waiting for another daughter to arrive and my first daughter went off shopping and we were going to join her. I needed to go to the toilet and asked if there was a downstairs bathroom. The answer was a rude no. I asked if I could please use one in a not yet cleaned unit. The manager was even ruder in her reply that I could not. And left me to it. A little while later I asked the cleaner if I could please use the toilet. She asked the manager who poked her head out of a unit door and said "I've already told you no you can't and we don't have one. We are cleaning the rooms" or words to that effect. The manager had hurt her foot and i understood there were delays in getting rooms cleaned. She intimated I was annoyed about not getting into a room sooner, but I wasn't and i explained that. She had offered us the room at 12.30 ish as soon as it was cleaned. She had kindly stored our bags. I asked why i couldnt just use an uncleaned toilet and i did say i wouldnt want to stay here again. She basically said thats fine and i wouldnt be getting our room sooner since i said that. Other people came in earlier than 2 pm and she was quite rude to them in front of me. The manager also said to guests arriving that people arriving early were causing them delays. She also told her cleaners off in front of me. My daughter had arrived and heard some of this and was already upset for other reasons. We went to the bus stop to catch a bus and I had to urinate behind the bus stop. We were both quite upset. It turns out that further down the road there was a public toilet and Nicole never mentioned this to me. On the day we left, my daughter went to her and told her I had to urinate behind the bus stop, and that I was mortified (sandgate road is a busy road). My daughter asked the manager if she knew there was a toilet down the road and she said yes she did. The advise she gave the manager was that maybe she could tell people that next time. All the manager said was "okay, thank you". I certainly felt I was treated badly, with disrespect and who refuses someone the use of a toiket or doesn't explain there is one down the road?

My daughter arrived to check in and the lady (Nicola) was very abrupt to my daughter because she was not the one who made the booking, it was under my name (my daughter shares the same last name). She then proceeded to walk from the counter to a room so my daughter followed- there was no communication. She was very rude when my daughter asked if there was any parking to which she replied “only ONE car park”. We then requested another key as there was four adults staying and only one key given. Nicola was rude and said that she is only eating her breakfast now and that we disrupted her. Meanwhile this was at 2:30pm in the afternoon. The story continues as I stupidly left an outfit of mine in the wardrobe. Nicola has very difficult to deal with which started when I rang that day to organise how to collect them. She spoke very rudely over the phone and kept saying she’s busy. She even told me that I’m not very nice when I have showed so much patience and tolerance. This has now been going on for a couple of months. She admitted over the phone that she has attitude and disclosed something very personal to me. I have sent a reply paid envelop for the clothes to be posted back but she is still so defiant and only wants to communicate via email. The latest is that the housekeeper was given the clothes to post back. I do not believe I will ever receive my clothes worth over $300. DO NOT stay here!!!

Thanks for your feedback, Leanne! You repeatedly organised for people to come and pick up your clothes, but they never came. If you checked your tracker, you would see that your clothes are on the way to you. I have been patient and tolerant of you calling me names and not once did I ever be anything but professional with you. You even got a man to ring and intimidate me.

We enjoyed our one night at Albion Manor - booked 3 rooms to spend an evening with nearby family before visitors flew back to UK. Perfect for our stay, the apartments are very roomy and very clean - the decor is dated as has been noted, but beds were new and very comfortable. Showers very powerful and we had a great nights sleep. Nicola is extremely friendly and looked after us well. Perfect position for a short and easy walk into Albion, to the pub or many restaurants then a 10 minute drive in the morning to airport. Highly recommend this property, we will be back!

We stayed for 1 night in Room 1. The room was spacious and clean, if a little dated. It is possibly a wheelchair accessible room, with a kitchenette, a 2-seater couch, a 2-person dining suite and a queen size bed in the main room, as well as an extra room with 2 single beds, accessed through a sliding glass door. The bathroom was a large ""wet room" that included a shower with curtain, the toilet and vanity. The shower was hot and had plenty of pressure, which was great, but we found the downside being that, as there is no hob around the shower area, the entire floor ended up very wet and a bit slippery. Even though we were on a fairly major road, we found traffic noise to be minimal and would definitely consider staying here again, if we needed to be close to the airport, which is only a 10 minute drive away. There were plenty of dining options in close proximity as well. The staff were very friendly and polite and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. All in all, a very nice place to stay.

We were looking for one night prior to departing on at international flight. The location is not that near the airport & there is no shuttle. Our room was clean but the property is looking tired & rundown. We were going to swim in the pool for the afternoon, however is was not clean & the area was uninviting right next to a busy road & not well maintained. Instead we went into Brisbane city which was easy as the train line is very close. I would not stay here again but it was ok for one night.

We stayed one night before our flight . The motel is on busy Sandgate Road but for us our room was very quiet. It is an older motel but has been kept in excellent condition. Our room was in very good condition and clean. It is also in a good location with plenty of places to eat nearby. All in all we were happy with our accommodation and will stay here again.

I phoned to book accommodation for a weekend at the last minute. The lady on the phone was pleasant and managed to find a room available. On arrival, Nicola was very accommodating and friendly. She recommended some places to eat that matched my choices and were walking distance. My room was very clean. The gardens and pool area was clean and all staff interactions were great. Will recommend
