It’s not what I would call a 5 star hotel, but it was clean which is what you want. I had the garden room which looks out to the bush / concrete wall which was fine as I wasn’t after the view. Room was quiet except for when people were in the hall. The room is quite dark, so more lighting would be preferred. I couldn’t get through by calling ahead for the parking code, so I just got a ticket and they validated the cheaper parking, but do note that there are no dedicated hotel parking spots, so you may have to wait for one to come free.

Wow - what an excellent anniversary stay my partner and I just had! We can't say thank you enough, staying with you was perfect from start to finish. We booked a package direct with the Hotel that included breakfast and a $100 voucher for HSW. It was seamless, with our voucher being emailed to us as we were checking in. The wooden keys were a really unique touch and a great idea. Our room (418) was absolutely breathtaking with its view of the greenery and the anniversary gift and card left in the room was so sweet! Our expectations for Breakfast were high (we love a good hotel breakfast), but even that was exceeded! Your chefs at Popletta should be so proud of the food that they serve - local produce, delicious and plentiful. Thank you very much for a beautiful stay and a beautiful memory. We very much look forward to joining you again in the future!

We stayed on level 4 with a river view room. Clean, quiet, fantastic views, great design, layout and fixtures, though the bath robes supplied were obviously for people with a smaller girth. We used the app to checkin and as a door key, no issues. We requested a very late checkout time, no hassles, with a very moderate $10 per hour after 11am to accomodate that request which we thought was very reasonable. Everything you need is electronic, including your ‘do not disturb’. We did get a breakfast cost charged to us incorrectly when I received my portfolio by email once we had checked out. A quick email back to the ‘curator’ (the title given to front of house staff) and the credit was processed with no fuss. Would I stay again? Absolutely. It is central to everything you want to see and do in Brisbane. Walking distance to the valley, city cat ferry, buses,, e-scooters and they even have free bicycles you can use.

Only good thing I can say is it is very close to restuarants and art work fantastic. Paid for a family room, 1 queens size bed, 1 king size bed so you would think it is for 2 couples. One door closes off one bedroom but in the other room where bathroom, amentities (tea coffee) lounge suite is the other bed. No privacy at all to undress. You could hear every sound made in bathroom. Room service for a 4 night stay terrible. They did however knock on the door 3 nights into stay to service room at 5 pm when we had just returned from being out all day to which we said no. Will give them they did ask if we needed clean towels but too angry to say yes. I did ask for them later and also tea/coffee and they delivered within 5 minutes. Ended up having to rent another room which cost $700 approx for 2 nights. If you intend to stay there I would find other places to eat as I am certain you would find somewhere cheaper. Does have gym, swimming pool but alot of other places have this amentity. Decor is lovely and I believe that is what you pay for nothing else.

Lovely check in and staff Family room great , two seperate areas with sliding door separating Queen bed with own tv separated by door and bathroom to king, window and couch. iPad for booking minibar and room service, didn’t use. Tea kettle and coffee machine Second floor muffled noisy from outside. Felons very busy so go higher room 3,4 or 5 But if you sleep well this is a beautiful spot to walk the river and explore. Bridge beautiful at night and elevator near Felons to walk to James street Bummer the gym is not state of art. It’s in a room with no windows and limited weight machines, with all that view don’t get it, Good but not great

We stayed for one night and got a beautiful bucket with ice and a bottle of champagne when checking in. The room was so clean and fresh. The bed was so comfortable and huge. Only one little downside was the tissue box was nearly empty. But I love my stay ❤️❤️❤️ thank you.

For a boutique hotel that charges what they charge you would expect a LOT better service. Late check in due to the fact that the room was apparently being cleaned. Got to the room and it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a month!! Food left in the fridge, dirty marks all over the glass and mirrors. Windows that looked like they’d never been cleaned! Complained and got upgraded which was nice but the actual service was s***!! Don’t bother ordering room service either if you’re on a timeframe (an hour wait when ordered at a specific time and took 4 phone calls to get the situation rectified but then our food was stone cold!! I appreciate the fact that everywhere, across the board, is short staffed but that shouldn’t be made to be my problem as a paying guest. Got attitude too from one of the ladies on reception/guest services too when making a complaint about the delay in food delivery. Avoid this hotel - you’ll get better service at an airport hotel that you pay $90-$100 a night!!

We spent a lovely 2 nights at Crystalbrook Vincent in May 2022. The Reception staff were courteous and professional. Our room was very spacious, clean, well equipped and overlooked the City, the river and the Storey bridge. We were very impressed and would have no hesitation in recommending Crystalbrook to anyone requiring a central, very clean and comfortable hotel stay.

Situated on the Brisbane River directly under the iconic Story Bridge on the Howard Smith Wharf, the hotel features the art works of Vincent Fantuazzo (actress Asher Keddie’s husband). His stunning portraits of both animal and human subjects adorn the lobby and just about every bit of wall space in the hotel. The decor is predominantly black and boasts its eco friendly credentials with quirky round bamboo discs as door access cards. The quirkiness continues with the room number illuminated at skirting board level outside each room! Wish the staff had told me that - took me a while to figure it out and find my room! Some rooms have the river view, I had what is called the ‘nature wall’ view ie a rock face! Spacious room, clean with with the black theme continued, even in the bathroom. Never seen a black loo! A rather ill placed cupboard has a potentially dangerous corner which could do some damage to your head. A rounded plastic corner cover has tried to lessen the potential for damage! There is a coffee pod machine, kettle, iron and safe. Plenty of hanging space with cardboard hangers to continue the eco theme. An in room i pad provides access to hotel info, room service etc. There is a brekky area and the Fiume bar caters for lunch, but all other meals are available from the selection of restaurants along the wharf area. The Felons Brewery is a lively spot to try out local brews, whilst feeding on generous pub grub or pizza. The river and bridge views are stunning. A comfortable stay and surprisingly no traffic noise, even though the bridge is right above!
