Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The hotel is 5 minutes drive from the airport - between 21-29 Australian dollars each way. So, it is not really “airport” hotel. The hotel room is functional, the bed was ok Coffee and tea making facilities were very good. Cleanliness - not sparkling clean Interior - very tired/ probably up for renovation

Having stayed at F1 in Europe & Hendra before it became Accor I thought I knew what to expect, BIG mistake. First up, DO NOT pre-pay for breakfast, especially if you have an early flight as nothing happens until 7am, we were told, we left in darkness at 06.30. Doubt if we ever get our $20 back. Do not pay the $5 parking fee, we had NEVER EVER paid for parking before & how the hell are they to know you did not arrive by taxi ? This joint is all about screwing the last cent from customers, an absolute disgrace to the Accor brand. From reception to the rooms it was like "back in the USSR". Room floors were filthy & absolutely NOWHERE to hang any clothes, unlike the old F1. At least they had spent CAPEX on new AC's & they were repainting the corridors but that is about it. PS the other Accor properties are excellent, but, at a price. Maybe Accor management have never heard of Michael Porter but this is an ideal project to look at price elasticity in order to consider improving the offer ?

A cancelled flight meant we needed a hotel close to the airport so I booked the Ibis Budget. Big mistake. From start to finish the experience was woeful. We were given a key to room that was already occupied (man asleep on bed when we opened the door). We were allocated another room (no apology) and it was smelly, small, noisy and horrible. I understand that it's a budget hotel and my expectations weren't high but for $170 (is that really budget??) this was totally unsatisfactory. Ibis (Accor) need to do much better than this.

I booked this hotel through Expedia as my flight was arriving in Brisbane at 11:30 pm. The. Found there was no late checkin and cancelled, so I thought. I replied to the email that confirmed my booking, saying I wanted to cancel. Apparently these emails are not checked by a real person. And you have to cancel through an app. The cancelation did not reach the hotel and the hotel charged me for the night anyway. I complained through Fair Trading to no avail. So charged for a night I did not use, and not refunded! No late checkin so of no use for travellers with late night flight arrivals. Appalling customer service. You cannot get them on the phone night or day..not even that close to the airport. So “airport hotel “ is. A misnomer. Stay well clear of this place. And don’t bother with Expedia either. Cancellation is very difficult through Expedia

Expect no luxuries because this has a definite budget feel - but if you need a low cost place to sleep with a comfy bed, this works. Unfortunately not near any transit so you will have to taxi or Uber While it’s pretty close to the airport … about a 10 minute drive … it’ll cost approx $30 to get there and same to downtown Brisbane, so factor that into your overall costs.

We booked this hotel same day due to a flight change. Wish we hadn’t! Dingy & dirty; old & uninspired. It’s actually hard to believe that this run-down, tired motel could be part of the Accor brand! Very below their most basic standards. Taxi to/from the airport costs $20 each way. No convenient restaurants nearby. The staff puts on a friendly and brave face but it can’t compensate for the low quality accommodation and subpar cleanliness. Do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere! This motel doesn’t deserves your business.

Honestly, price wise, it’s not budget enough to be worth it. By the time you catch $70 worth of taxis to from and to the airport, you may as well just pay for the nicer hotel at the airport. It’s dingy and uncomfortable. I was only staying a few hours as my flight got in at 11pm and left again at 6am and they didn’t offer any reduced rates when I called, yet they do offer that during the day. Their communication for the late check in was good though.

Booked one night at the budget Ibis. Arrived after-hours for check-in. Collected my keycard from an exterior safe, but it didn't work. Not at the front door, not at the room door. Tried to use the emergency Coms system but no-one came to help. Was forced to rest in the cold lobby. Paid $179 to sleep on the lobby floor. I wouldn't wish this place upon my worst enemy.

We chose this motel as it was near to the airport and cruise terminal. Well, it wasn’t. No lift, so we had to lug our suitcases up the stairs, The room was very small, the bathroom and shower even tinier. There was no wardrobe, just hooks on the wall. We were able to open a window, which was the only bonus. We won’t be back.
