A good basic hotel/motel not far from the city centre. The staff are super friendly, the rooms are comfortable and clean. The restaurant is excellent, head chef is very friendly and provides quality and service well above what is expected from a hotel restaurant. The food is delicious. Definitely well above what you expect at the price point. A great... More

My husband and I have been using this hotel quite regularly. Great location, very close to PA hospital, Buranda shopping centre, Gabba, and not too far from West End either. Free and easy parking. We have been staying in a one br apartment. The rooms and bathroom were always very clean. Place is very quiet, no noise from the street, nor... More

The Chino is a well positioned property on the south side of Brisbane close to the Gabba, PA and Greenslope Hospitals. The reception staff were excellent. Hard workers that double as wait staff in the restaurant. Very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The rooms are well appointed with spacious bathrooms and kitchenettes. Even though you are surrounded by traffic... More

Dear rojo05, Thank you for 5/5 bubbles and some lovely words. Like you, we feel Hotel Chino is wonderfully positioned to go anywhere in Brisbane. Close to freeways, tunnels and major connecting roads plus rail and bus ways heading north/south & east/west, yet far enough away to not hear any traffic with the balcony doors closed. First time that I booked Hotel Chino was only because my other favorite hotels were booked out and I wanted a decent hotel at super last minute. Well, what a surprise. The room was very small but well appointed and not noisy despite facing the street. Extremely nice front office staff. We had checked out after one night but actually... More

Thank you OneWorld22 for sharing your enjoyment of Hotel Chino with the Trip Advisor community.
