The Ibis Brisbane Airport hotel garners praise for its clean, comfortable rooms and proximity to the airport, which guests appreciate for the convenience it offers. Travelers commend the amiable service and efficient staff, although a few have experienced less than satisfactory encounters. While the amenities are considered basic by some, they are generally recognized for their cleanliness and comfort. The hotel's value is acknowledged by many reviewers, despite occasional remarks on incidental costs and some opinions of the rooms being slightly overpriced.

Ibis are a good brand for simple accommodation, knowing exactly what to expect every time as far as accommodation is concerned. Interestingly, it felt like the rooms were slightly larger in this hotel. Bed was comfortable; plenty of space for 2 of us with luggage; room was extremely quiet & could not hear any aircraft or other hotel noises; water pressure in shower was very strong with instant hot water. Our room was on the top level, opposite side to the airfield, which afforded views of Brisbane city. The restaurant/bar had a good selection on the menu & food was prepared quickly & was good quality. I know it's an airport hotel for convenience, but price of wine per the bottle was much higher than i would expect from an Ibis (prices more like a high end restaurant). Convenience is the key here for outbound or inbound travel, with the hotel being an easy 10 minute walk from the terminal, all under cover, and well signed. We used it as an overnight stay prior to a morning departure, and it was nice having a relaxed start rather than having to get up early & travel (we live at the Gold Coast). Our only real gripe with this hotel is you don't have access to the roof top, which struck as odd being an airport hotel. Front desk staff advised the roof top is only for functions. Sitting at a rooftop bar watching aircraft is what we stay at airport hotels for!

Had a 24hr layover on the way to Perth for 2 weeks quarantine. Walked from BNE domestic terminal to the Hotel quick and easy. The receptionist at check-in was super friendly and helpful with my plan to get into Brisbane city for some shopping. The room was modern, super clean, had a panoramic window with a nice view towards the city. Only thing I found annoying was the big window in my room and the ones in the elevator lobby were filthy on the outside, would have been nice if they were clean. Had just enough comforts to keep me happy for the quick stopover. Ate in-house at the Cribb Island Restaurant in the evening. Had a Wagyu steak with a special promotion of garlic prawns for a couple buck extra. Was a massive meal, delicious steak, prawns and side dishes. The service was swift, the staff friendly and drinks reasonably priced ($10 for a beer and the same for a red wine). The room was quite, the bedding comfortable and the shower was a torrent of nice hot and refreshing water. In the morning of departure I had the "Traditional English Breakfast" it was massive ! I could not eat it all. It had sausages, bacon, mushrooms, tomato, hashbrowns and toast. I had a cappuccino with it which was great too. Checkout was super fast and friendly. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend the Ibis Brisbane Airport for stop-over accommodation.

The room was very clean. Loved that the takeaway from the restaurant had airtight lids so that there was no lingering food smell. I arrived after a week of intensely long days and check in was swift, the room felt safe and I really valued the interactions with staff that were calm and efficient.

After waiting eleven hours due to flight changers back to Brisbane, flight would arrive after midnight, then to pick up the car, drive back to the GC. I got online to book accommodation at BNE airport, as driving was not a going to happen this stage. Found the only rooms available at BNE airport are on a third-party website. Check in was at 0030, Check Out was 0945, the website offered mini bar/NO mini bar? At check in I explained the day and asked where can I get a glass of wine and something substantial to eat? My departing destination had only a vending machine for food/Beveridge! Sorry sir all is closed. I requested the Night Manager, after going over the entire day again! The night manager asked me to give him a second while he just checked with the restaurant staff, $50 bottle of wine and a chicken wrap! Got to my room, had a shower, then just passed out after all the fun of the day. at around 0145 a banging noise started on and off then 0800 all I heard was housekeeping in the room next door vacuuming and in the corridor with loud chat and giggling. On checkout, I explained all the above, I was told someone would call me to discuss. (A coffee would have been better) No phone call that day, so I sent an email to the hotel outlining my disappointment. Outcome, A call four days later a ten-minute hold, then told! Oh, sorry but you booked through a third-party company, we are happy to refund your sandwich. AWESOME, THANKS Ibis Brisbane Airport!

The relaxed atmosphere starts the moment you enter with hip music, friendly service and a cool vibe.

Rooms are standard but what really makes this hotel is the restaurant which serves good, healthy fare quickly and cheerfully and at a reasonable cost. Other hotels should take note.

You can walk to the hotel in 10 minutes from the domestic terminal. Follow the signs for convention entre and hotels. Otherwise you have to wait 40 minutes for a shuttle from the international terminal. Other airport hotels other than the Rydges which is at the airport work the same way.

We spent the night here with our Grand Daughter prior to an early flight to New York. The location, being connected to the Domestic Parking Facility is indeed first rate.
Whilst it is a typical Ibis Type Hotel; for a late arrival and early departure is was indeed for more than was expected.
The Reception Staff were absolutely helpful, both at Check In and Check out. If all you require is a bed, and maybe a quick meal and a few drinks, this Ibis easily meets ones requirements at a very affordable price.
Would recommend without hesitation.

Journey from BNE International rather circuitous thank to TomTom ! Not easy to see the entry for the carpark, better signage would be good for after dark arrivals unfamiliar with the roads. Building clearly visible but entry NOT.
$40 for parking exorbitant, CBD parking charge, but no choice.
Check in plagued by technical glitches but front office staff, Jennifer?, handled it well & used her initiative to provide a disabled room when they saw my partners stick, even though we had not requested one.
Bed comfort was excellent & bathroom towels large & of high quality.
Cafe provides breakfast for $20, looked very good value but we just had bacon/egg rolls with coffee for about $9 each, still jet lagged.
Certainly a very convenient location for domestic arrivals & well priced, would use again

The positives:

Nice clean dark room in a good location

The restaurant served good cheap meals and had a very nice Buffett breakfast

The negative:

Staying in a lot of Accor properties for leisure, we are fortunate enough to have Diamond status.

But even before reaching any status level every Accor used to provide (and does in almost every other location) two water bottles in the room.

With the higher status, you also receive an amenity gift as your entitlements.

I was very annoyed when on checking I was presented with a brown gift bag with 1 bottle of water to share with my wife as our amenity. No water in the room.

Now I appreciate it sounds petty, but when you are also paying a $400 Accor plus subscription yearly, you expect the stated benefits of the program to be adhered to

Previously I had stayed at the Pullman next door and would have done again if not for the Ibis breakfast opening at 5:30am earlier than the Pullman

The terminal shuttle costs $8.50 pp to the international, however you can walk to the domestic ( 10mins) and get a free shuttle to the international.

I will not stay here again and will book the Pullman, and have status matched with Intercontinental to compare their level of support to the higher status members

Dear fdKen, Thank you for providing a review regarding your recent stay at the hotel. Please accept our sincere apologies that you only received one bottle on water on arrival and no welcome amenity as a Diamond Accor member. It is standard procedure that all Diamond members are provided with a welcome amenity in addition to a bottle of water per guest. Please rest assured, I am following up your comments with our team to ensure all staff members are identifying and acknowledging our Accor members on arrival. Thank you for sharing your experience and we hope you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future. Kind Regards, Glenn Thomas, Hotel Manager

My wife and I stayed 1 night, arriving at 3PM.
A nice receptionist checked my identity, took a 1A$ charge on my card, confirmed our prepayment and provided 2 key cards with instructions on operating the 3 elevators and the sign posted walkway to the domestic airport.
Room #910 was carpeted & clean with a comfortable queen across a shelf unit with a hot pot, refrigerator, nice TV(good reception of ~20 channels) and a fully outfitted bathroom with a shower stall. The room’s secure WIFI was excellent, quiet central AC with wall control, 4 outlets and a large window view of the control tower and distant Brisbane.
The Pullman Hotel is next door.
These convenient hotels have a dedicated walkway that we did 3 times in an easy 15 minutes. With our early flight, we did not use the nice restaurant.

I had a late international arrival and a next morning domestic departure. I caught the Redy2Go ($6) shuttle to the Ibis Brisbane Airport from the international airport and then again in the morning to the domestic airport (you can also easily walk but I had too much luggage). Check in was quick and easy. The room was small (as normal for Ibis) but comfortable with all that I needed for an overnight stay.

Ibis is definitely walking distance. Probably takes 5 minutes to get to the entrance of the airport. Easy to find as well. I believe they have a video online that shows the route too. Your son should have no trouble at all.

The Woolworth food store at the SkyGate mall is open 24/7. The Skygate bus however stops around 6:30pm. You might be able to take the hotel bus (AUD 6.00) that runs for a longer time.
