I booked a 3 bedroom apartment weeks in advance and even followed up with an email enquiring about parking, and was advised to just park in the loading zone out the front and come in to receive parking, at $30 per night. When I arrived there were 3 employees behind the reception counter and although there were no other customers, I didn't feel that any of the 3 wanted really to serve me. As the phone rang and the first lady answered that call, I went to the gentleman who was next along the line. I confirmed my booking and enquired about get a car park. He was quite offhand in telling me that there were no car parks and I could park in one of the Secure Car Parks about 100 metres away. I told him that I had previously enquired about car parking but he said that it was subject to availability and there were none available. I told him that it was raining and I had luggage to bring up and he was quite offhand and I felt rude. Finally the other lady sitting beside him handed over a car park pass that she had available, and he told me that somebody had just booked out, even though that was obviously there the whole time because nobody else had come into the room. I was also taken aback by the need for a $200 bond when I had just paid $1000 on my credit card but they informed me it was standard practice and if we didn't damage the rooms I would be refunded the amount within 10 days. I just wanted a nice weekend with my family and the staff had me quite on edge before I even saw the room. The hotel is in a great spot for what we wanted and rooms were clean but minimalistic with furniture and fittings for a 3 bedroom apartment that would expect 6 people. I think that you need to improve your car park availability, because there are a lot underneath, but I don't know who was supposed to be using them, and warn people that they need to book car parks in advance if that is the case because the email that I received in response to my car parking query had no mention of booking them in advance.

We stayed as a group of six to attend the Lyric theatre and walked to venue. Hot tip, walk down to the river and catch the free Kitty Cat ferry service to Southbank or the city. The apartment was 3 bedroom and well presented with a functional kitchen, they only supply nescafe and there's no coffee press or machine supplied.

Booked kinda last minute for the family weekend with a special price. First impression thought of being a luxury sky tower in Brisbane was wrong. (Don’t Judge Book by Its Cover!)

When arrived at about 2.30pm, the room still wasn’t ready for us so we still have to wait a bit which was okay but the parking was kinda annoying even though located just next door to the property but at first we paid to get into the parking as the check in staff messed up our dates so the passcode for the gate wasn’t working and have to go back up to fix that issue.

Room wise, was average being said with a city view; all we got just a view of an apartment building across with people could see us very clearly and vice-versa as well as a building constructions that’s currently happening with their noises starting as early as 6.30am on weekdays but luckily for us that day was Monday, the day that we are checking out so we didn’t experience the noises at all during the weekend.

Carpet was filthy full of stains all over the place; dark spot stains and bubble gum stains. Corner light was hanging from the stand and smoke alarm was dangling from the roof with that irritating beeping noise every 10 seconds, even though after reporting it to the staff, apparently they managed to fixed it but it came back dangling from the ceiling again and spilled the battery out.

Wifi wasn’t working at first, tried many times with the password given but no luck, came down and reported the issue and they said to try again in the next 30 mins or so after resetting the system but it was still the same, until our son came out with the idea of locating the actual wifi router in the room and using the actual password written on it and....BINGO!

The actual sleeping and chillin out was a no complaint but those annoying experiences that related to the room and apartment amenities were the only issues.

Lastly, shower room still filled with soap scums.

We would definitely not coming back and there are plenty of other apartments in the area that probably would do better!

New iconic skyscraper in Brisbane’s CBD. Temporary reception area cramped. Arrived early and accepted offer to safely store luggage. Luggage was left in a public area.

Stayed in one bedroom serviced apartment. Dirty room. Carpets and rugs stained. Previous guests’ dirty towels. This presented an unacceptable COVID risk but not as much as the used tissues everywhere particularly under bed. Human hair found on carpets and furniture. Windows streaked and dirty. No toilet paper - had to buy our own.

Not a serviced apartment. Only offered room service for stays > 7 days - we were staying 6 and had to pay for a room service if we wanted one. On arrival, smoke detector alarming due to flat battery. Purchased our own replacement when we went and bought toilet paper. Hotel seemed to have a lot of partying and drinking teenagers and European backpackers. Lifts often filled beyond safe distancing levels. On day of checkout, foyer had a passed out drunk backpacker in it for several hours, with cleaners vacuuming around him. He’s probably still there.

Despite being a serviced apartment, had not enough equipment. Only one drinking glass so had to purchase our own. Appliances cheap and not effective. Dryer took 3 cycles to dry a small load of washing.

Avoid this place. It presents a clear and unacceptable COVID infection risk due to lack of cleaning and packed lifts. It is full of drunk and partying teenagers and backpackers.

Lesson learnt - read the reviews before booking!

Great room with everything you may need included. Staff were super friendly and very helpful. The room was abit difficult to find, but once explained it was easier (Room 7103 = floor 71 room 03) It’s positioned in a great location with heaps of nearby cafes and fantastic view of the Brisbane River for a great price.

If you are staying more than one night maybe shop around. You need to be staying for a week or more to have your room serviced otherwise you are charged a fee. There were no spare blankets or pillows, no tea towels, and our bathroom had no towel rail to dry our towels. The bathroom shower doesn't drain properly so we had to use towels to soak up the excess water. There was no phone in the room to call down to reception so when we went down and requested more towels they said they would send some up but never did. Our friends had to wait over an hour on Saturday to check in even though it was 2pm. The Parking cost $30 as night per space. The place is probably fine for one night but that would be it. The indoor pool view is nice.

Our first family trip away in some time was made so much more enjoyable by staying at the Brisbane skytower. For a touring party of eight, 2 apartments with 2 bedrooms provided ample space for spending time together but also allowing time for privacy. It is situated in an ideal location away from the noise of the main CBD but close enough to walk to all the riverfront restaurants. The views of the Brisbane river are spectacular, especially at night however clean windows during the day would be my only feedback. We all had a great time with our children already asking when can we go back.

Reception check in is located around the back of the hotel and there is always a line up to be served. Upon check in we found the duty manager at reception to be extremely rude, arrogant and not helpful at all.
There were no porter’s trolleys (or similar) so we had to make multiple trips to unload and load the car.
Parking was charged as an extra @ $30/night and some of their spaces are sold to the public, so the security is not that great.
The pool didn’t look anything like the photos, but rather a small indoor pool, not much bigger than a spa.
We were upgraded free of charge to a three bedroom unit however the second bedroom had what appeared to be a large vomit stain on the carpet.
The unit had beautiful floor to ceiling glass right across the front of the unit however they were so dirty we couldn’t even take photographs through them.
All in all, not value for money & definitely wouldn’t stay here again nor would I recommend it to friends/family!

The Skytower is situated in the city centre and views from the apartment are BREATHTAKING. We are staying on the 49th floor and have an uninterrupted view across north Brisbane. With full length windows we can literally lay in bed and see the city under lights at night. Like being in an aeroplane coming in to land. We also wake up every morning to this amazing view of the Brisbane river and beyond. This is the best place to stay in Brisbane.
We originally booked to stay for two weeks and are so impressed that we have stayed on for eight weeks.
Firstly the check in is easy and seamless. The staff from management through to the cleaners are so very friendly, professional, and very accommodating. The room has a complete kitchen (not just a Kitchenette) which is perfect for self catering. Brisbane is a vibrant city so there are sooo many restaurants, nightlife, supermarkets, shopping etc within minutes (walking) of the Skytower. Everything you could ever need is right there.
Finally the Botanical gardens and river boardwalks are just one street away for those who enjoy a bit of exercise coupled with beautiful scenery or restaurants.
Really enjoying our stay and will definitely come back.

Reception and call centre team very unprofessional. We paid over $400 for a night and expected trained staff who knew their booking process. Pain to try to call reception as the line keeps disconnecting, if you’re busy, try answering and asking people to hold instead of hanging up. Cutlery with hair in cutlery tray. Upon seeing this I had to wash all dinner ware in the dishwasher to be confident I would eat with clean utensils.

Sorry to say I back Drew's answer 100%( well said Drew!), I had been staying at the Skytower whilst going through Chemo myself. You are free to ask any of the desk staff. They know I was going through Cancer treatment. It is not suitable, if not for the dust and toxins in the air, whilst you have no antibodies. It's so noisy that you can't sleep or rest after chemotherapy. I know this will be a wonderful place on completion January 2019, from honest experience, please don't for you husband. My white cell count went down whilst there and it was low already. I needed rest, unfortunately this is not the place for now. Work starts at 6 am. I wish your husband the best of heath and strength and love to you on your journey. I moved into the Park Regis, North Quay less than 100 mts from The river, Beautiful view, Coles is a 5 min walk, cinema eta etc. I hope this finds your husband in as best health as possible and if your still in Brisbane, feel free to contact. We can all do with a laugh and a talk. Bless
