Standing a statuesque 39 levels opposite the Treasury Casino, Oaks Casino Towers stands among the best Brisbane city hotels fusing stylishly appointed 1 and 2 bedroom apartments with sleek designs, full kitchens complete with modern appliances, in-room conveniences including Internet access, spacious living and dining areas and sizable balconies overlooking the city and river below. Our large swimming pool and sun deck is the perfect place to unwind, as is the spa, sauna and well-equipped gymnasium, all ensuring your stay at Oaks Casino Towers is one of utmost leisure. Car parking information: On-site parking is available, bookings are essential and should be made in advance via our reservations office or through the hotel, fees apply. Directions: Although Casino Towers is on George Street, entry to the car park is off Charlotte Street. The laneway leading to the car park is on the right hand side of Charlotte Street between the Telstra Building and the Pancake Manor. Please note this is not signed due to Council Regulations. To access the car park: - Make your way onto Charlotte Street (one way south) and drive towards George Street - Immediately before the Pancake Manor, turn right into the laneway. - Drive 20 metres until you reach the roller door entry on the left. The car park is secured and you will be required to contact reception by dialling #101 from the intercom located in front of the roller door. Staff will then direct you to your car park and inform you how to access reception. All hotel guests are required to park in the car parks that are marked in green with 'Hotel Guest' displayed on the ground. Failure to park in these zones and/or clearly display your validated parking slip on the dash may result in car being towed at owners expense.

Was great location for anything in central city but there was also a fair amount of noise that went with it. No double glazing on eternal windows/doors or between other rooms. Could hear neighbours showing, talking and hear music from other apartments and even from down on the street.
Apartment had a most of the amenties needing for cooking but missing a mixing bowl, scrubbing bush, proper cloth and things like gladwrap, etc.
staff on front desk were very friendly and obliging - we ended up booking a car park for one night with minimun notice.

The location is really good, close to the CBD, Eateries, Casino, Queens St Mall etc. My friend and I stayed in a two bedroom apartment and we were very happy with its spaciousness, well equipped large kitchen. It only had one all inclusive bathroom, toilet and laundry which was Ok but I did expect two bathrooms (or at least a separate toilet).
The beds were really comfortable, the pillows are one of the best I have found in holiday accommodation. I had a really good sleep. The car park was a bit difficult but we managed OK. The spa and pool were heated. The spa was was awesome. The ladder in and out of the pool could use another rung on the bottom as it isn't the easiest to get out of if you are aged.
Everything was great and I would have given this review 5 stars (and we both said we would stay there again) but my pleasant experience did a rapid decline when I received an email 2 hours after we vacated the apartment basically telling me that there was a stain on the carpet, they would be engaging a professional cleaner and I would be sent the invoice.
What has upset me the most is that I was instantly blamed for this very obvious stain on the carpet. Not even the courtesy of a question, just instant blame. The stain was there when we checked in. My friend and I both noticed it as you would be nearly blind not to see it. Several emails back and forth (and a phone call) ended up with me being advised that "as a sign of goodwill they wouldn't charge me for it" but no apology for accusing me. They basically said I should have reported it. I didn't report it as it appeared to me to be aged as was other parts of the apartment (especially the bathroom). So be aware, it seems they expect you to note and report every thing if staying here like you do with a car hire. I'm left feeling disappointed for how I was treated when I hadn't done anything wrong.

Had a 1 night stay in a 2 bedroom river view apartment, and it was fabulous.
The front desk team were friendly and efficient at check in and check out time.
Our room had an amazing view over Southbank and the river. Apartment was fresh, spacious and had a huge balcony.

Our stay at this motel was absolutely infuriating. The room was NOTHING like what was advertised—completely misleading and unacceptable. On top of that, the Foxtel and wifi didn’t work, the TV in the main bedroom was broken, the iron was broken, the furniture and cabinetry was all chipped and falling apart, the lounge chairs were heavily stained there was an overwhelming smell of sewage throughout the apartment, and there wasn’t even enough linen provided for the three of us. How can a business fail to provide the bare minimum for its guests?
The price was outrageous, clearly exploiting guests with ridiculous price gouging. When I tried to address these issues, the manager was shockingly rude, dismissive, and unwilling to offer any resolution. It’s appalling that someone so unprofessional is in charge of dealing with customers.
The only positive in this nightmare was Lulu. Despite the awful circumstances, she went out of her way to be polite, professional, and genuinely helpful. If it weren’t for her, this experience would have been unbearable.
Lulu deserves praise, but as for the motel itself? Avoid it at all costs!

At the outset, I would like to disagree with your comments. Our pricing is dynamic similar to the pricing model which airlines and other hotels use. Nightly rates are based on demand and fluctuate daily depending on bookings made. You stayed with us when Luke Combs was playing at Suncorp Stadium to a full capacity house. Hence, the rates were much higher than a normal weekend. Lulu, our Front Office Manager tried to explain the dynamic pricing model, but you refused to listen to her and requested the Hotel Manager to contact you. During our conversation today, I reiterated the pricing model and even offered a discounted rate for your future stay. However, you disconnected the phone. Trust our response provides clarification.

My review is purely based on the unprofessional manner of this hotel, we feel 100 percent lied to and have been left short a significant amount of money at Christmas due to this experience.
I have never experienced a hotel with so much incompetence. We purchased parking, we were provided with a carpark location. We found the park however there was a car in this park. We called reception and they sent us to 3 other carparks which all had cars in them over 2-3 levels they sent us to.
During our time in the reception area there were multiple guests coming to see reception with a range of issues, it become clear they had oversold the carpark.
From my time in reception it appears they have a massive Management issue. Their staff don't greet guests or seem happy at all, I actually seen this in another review so I would assume its a regular occurrence.
The service counter have no idea how to run or manage guests simple expectations, after messing us around for over 1hr 30mins trying to park and discuss our issues with reception we had non stop issues we were eventually forced to stay elsewhere at their request.
Oaks issued us with a letter on their letterhead seen attached advising they would cover a full refund for the room. Oaks have since reneged on the refund advising us to chase it up with external booking partners. We have made contact with the external booking partners as per Oaks request and they have both confirmed that Oaks is responsible for the refund.
See the clear letter outlining the refund attached, doesn't get any clearer they are required to provide a refund than this letter, signed off by their supervisor.
Oaks continually refer to the external booking partners as the issue to deflect from the letter they issued to us clearly advising of the refund. Extremely unprofessional and unethical to offer this and place it in writing to only renege and hide behind booking partners.
After contacting the hotel numerous times via email we have since received a phone call from their Hotel Manager who spoke to me in a condescending manner and constantly talked over me. This only further shows the issues they need to fix within Management at this location.
My advice to anyone considering staying at the Oaks Casino Towers would be to look at the other negative reviews on here and google. It paints a clear picture to stay elsewhere and avoid the disappointing experience we did leaving us out of pocket at Christmas time!

Thank you for posting your detailed feedback regarding your booking. Your booking was made through an Online Travel Agent (OTA) and you made a payment to the Online Travel Agent. Following your request to cancel the booking, our Front Office cancelled the booking without any penalties and notified you to contact your OTA for the refund. However, you demanded a refund from our Front Office team member immediately. Our Front Office team member reiterated that the refund must be processed by the OTA as the monies were held by them and provided the Booking Cancellation letter stating a refund will be provided. I have personally corresponded with the OTA and provided their e-mails for your ready reference for follow up. Trust this clarifies our position.

We stayed for 8 days and thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. The lobby was being renovated and the elevators were a bit slow, but the room was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils. We appreciated having a full kitchen and laundry, and enjoyed many happy hours on the balcony with our snacks and drinks. I wish we had asked for a room higher up as we didn't have a good view. The pool was lovely in the evenings. It was a perfect temperature, although the hot tub was lukewarm. It was wonderful to swim and then enjoy the light show on some of the neighbouring and downtown buildings. The staff were welcoming and all of them were very helpful. Our requests for small items such as extra dish soap were fulfilled promptly.

I’ve chosen to stay at Oaks Casino Towers on a number of occasions now, and I am confident recommending the hotel to couples or families holidaying in the Brisbane CBD and Southbank. The hotel is situated perfectly and is an easy walk to the main attractions of the city, like Queen Street Mall and the bridge to Southbank. The rooms are generously sized and the view offered from the Executive apartments is absolutely stunning. The pool shares this gorgeous view over the gardens and overlooks QPAC and the ferris wheel. Staff are always delightful to speak to, and are eager to offer help when required. I would definitely call the hotel directly to reserve car parking, if needed, as there are very limited spaces available for hotel guests.
Overall, my partner and I enjoyed an exceptional stay whilst celebrating a milestone birthday and anniversary together.

This was a special occasion and I was excited to book a river view room. I was offered an early check in via the welcome email but even upon ringing the day before this was not possible- the advice was just come in early and we will,hold your bags if not ready. I was bringing oysters and a bottle of champagne so this was not actually helpful. Upon check-in I was immediately sad as the river view was only visible from the lounge if you stood up at the window elsewise you needed to be on the balcony ( which was a challenge with the unfortunate weather on the weekend) Very different from the advertised room views with a central lounge with sliders to balcony looking out. So you could be inside and still see a river view, so the additional charge for a river view was very disappointing. The room itself was not welcoming and was very dated which is no big deal but there was so many unkempt and sad things about the experience. The second two seater lounge was uncomfortable with no armrests and no cushions. The bedroom had mouldy curtains which were visible when I made the bed. The bathroom had broken blinds, the kitchen was poorly stocked with missing items like no ice cube trays and there was stained crockery, dirty and missing cutlery and there wasn’t a knife that was sharp enough to cut a carrot easily. The air con was not operating well and the sliding doors in the bedroom rattled constantly in the wind. I am not a person who complains but I was embarrassed I had arranged this to be with my friends (who all live away from each other and we rarely see each). This was not a cheap room and my plans of enjoying the room and chatting and laughing inside were effectively ruined as we quickly all decided to eat out and be anywhere but the room - so even preferring the rain and wind of an outdoor breakfast eatery than taking advantage of our river view room. Overall,so sad and very very disappointing to me.

Thank you for posting your feedback. At the outset, please accept my sincere apologies that the apartment allocated to your booking did not meet with your expectations. You were allocated a 2 bedroom river view apartment which directly faces Brisbane river. There are uninterrupted views of Brisbane river, Southbank precinct and beyond from the spacious balcony of the apartment. I have noted your comments about the kitchen utensils and have notified our Housekeeping Supervisor to arrange replacements as required. The room smelt dirty the minute we opened the door, the floors were filthy leaving my kids feet black, there was thick dust on the curtains and on the air con vents, the toilet was filthy, as well as the shower and basins. The kitchen was dirty, even the kettle hadn’t been cleaned or wiped down. The shower water temp was either too hot or too cold - it kept changing temperate on us! Not safe when trying to shower kids when it goes from scorching hot to freezing cold in seconds. We ended up going to the nearest coles and buying cleaning products to clean the bathrooms and all handles & surfaces. Very disappointing.

Hi Nicky,
Our reception is open 24 hours to facilitate check in at any time. If you are arriving at 2.00 am in the morning, you will have to book and pay for the previous night to ensure that your apartment is available for early check in. For airport transfers, it would be best to use Uber or a Black & White cab.

Our car park entrance is located on Charlotte Street just after the police station and before Pancake Manor restaurant. Please e-mail our front office or contact (07) 30174900 for detailed instructions. Car parking is limited and needs to be pre-booked. There is a nightly charge of $25.00 per car.
