Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was the most wonderful place to stay. The apartment was very clean. The rooms were spacious and well set out. The kitchen was excellent. The staff were so lovely. We arrived late on a Sunday and they arrived within minutes of our call. They organised an underground park that was close to the lift. The children enjoyed the pool, which was clean and safe. There was barely an overlap in the people in the pool. The gym has everything you need and again there was no overlap. The air-conditioning was awesome. The balcony allowed us to sit out in the afternoon or to have breakfast was also great, travelling with children to dry their clothing and wet bathers and towels quickly. I highly recommend. It's a really secure building and the managers are so lovely if you had any issues they would help no problem. We locked our keys in our room to leave for the airport and hadn't realised that we needed them to get to the basement carpark. This happened at 3:30am. We called and the manager came and let us down to our car. Even at 3:30am he had a smile and a kind, helpful demeanor. Heidi managed our bookings. She was so lovely and helpful. When I messaged her upon arrival on Sunday evening she sent more towels to our room even though I had asked for these for the following day for the pool use.The only complaint is, I didn't stay longer. With cafes and restaurants on your doorstep and a very quick trip to the city - AWESOME! We will be back!

Room Tip: The room we had was quiet. Even with street noise, the door blocked this out.

These apartments are close to the King st restaurant strip - walking distance to Fortitude Valley and whilst not actually in the city are in a very central location. The apartments are well equipped and extremely roomy. It is a busy part of town so expect a little ambient noise but with parking onsite and the option to cook and wash in the apartment they are great value for money.

Booked an apartment for 3 nights (Fri-Mon) to allow partner to see a band on the Saturday night whilst I looked after the kids. About to put down baby and walk into the master bedroom and find a water pouring from light fitting onto the bed. Eldest child sleeping in bed fortunately was not electrocuted. As I moved eldest, water erupted from hallway fitting. It was a long night thereafter with staff members in the apartment replacing pots with large buckets and then having to move rooms with 3 children in tow at midnight and calling partner home early from night. Overall horrible experience at Gregory on Terrace. Avoid room 211.
