On a positive note these apartments are well located for the Southbank precinct in Brisbane. Two bedrooms with 2 bathrooms that are small but quite well equipped. However, the first thing we noticed was the bike smell in the hallway each time we got out of the lift. Secondly, the general maintenance in the apartment was woeful and some of the furniture was in dreadful condition. I would be surprised if even an op shop would accept some of it. The apartment was reasonably clean but the windows filthy….one of which it was almost impossible to see out of. It’s a pity as the location is perfect.

Arranged early check in weeks in advance but room not ready, but they allowed us to park car. 2 bed apartment, clean enough, bathrooms were spotless I must say having read reviews about cleanliness of room.. basic needs met, no comfort or luxury and unwelcoming cold feeling. No coat hangers so remember to pack some. Very noisy at front with trains.we did not use kitchen area so cannot comment. When returned late and put on lights 3 large cockroaches scurried under fridge, it’s Queensland. Lots of begging unfortunates loitering outside. Only 1 night so was OK.

An average 1 bedroom apartment, looking at the street and train line. That said the train noise was nearly noticeable and didn't bother us. Kitchen was adequate. Bathroom was clean enough. Air-con in lounge and bedroom worked fine. Good location being only a few minutes from Fish lane and very close to the museum and QPAC. Would be ok for 1 or 2 nights at most.

We had to stay for a few nights while our home was being renovated and this bnb was chosen for location. While the apartment was surface cleaned, the furniture and fittings were in disrepair. The front door to the apartment only opened partially as it was damaged and scraped on the floor. Upholstery on bedheads was covered in dust, the sofa cushions were visibly dirty and the toilet in the ensuite had a huge crack in it. The ensuite was unusable due to the overwhelming smell of urine. We used the alternate bathroom instead. Carpet in the bedroom had large visible stains on it and the tables in the living/dining were all scratched and marked. Bed linen was clean however the blanket was worn and had a large brown stain on it. The location is good being close to the CBD however the noise of traffic is considerable and the windows are not double glazed so a restful sleep is not assured. We were supposed to stay for 4 nights but chose to leave after only 2 nights.

The location is really good but the rooms/appartments are old and dirty. The shower floor looked like it hadn’t been cleaned and there were seats and throw pillows with big dirty stains. See pic below. View is crap in our room. Walls are market badly from old furniture and what not. Price was average for town stays. I’ve stayed in nicer places in same area so research and read reviews. I found rooms are very bare too. Like no furniture or radio clocks etc. it was weird.
