Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our group of 5 adults loved the week we spent at Rules Beach Bush Camp. Although not having a view of either Rules Beach or Baffle Creek, these two places were only a short drive away. It is what it states - a bush camp. We stayed in the main camp site near the front fence & had use of the 1 washing machine, 2 unisex showers & 3 unisex toilets. These are housed in what looks like tin garden sheds, so they do get a bit warm inside on a hot day, but are painted white on the inside & kept lovely & clean. The hosts, Celeste and Steve are very friendly & helpful, even supplying home cooked afternoon teas around the fire pit at 4pm each day. It is at the end of a long road far from a supermarket so be fully stocked with food when you arrive however, there are many taps for good drinking water. If you are fully self contained grey water can run across the sandy soil but there is no ability to dump black waste. We had one of the few powered sites, but generators are allowed 8am to 8pm. It is a spot I'll remember with a smile on my face.

This is our second stay at Rules Beach Bush Camp, Wayne & Dianne are great hosts, always there to assist or answer any questions but happy to give you all the privacy you could want. Facilities are some of the cleanest we've found anywhere, grounds are very well maintained with heaps of space, firewood provided and plenty of it.
Sadly due to Covid the afternoon drinks/social meet is currently off but we look forward to a time when we can enjoy this agin in the future.

Well certainly be back sometime in the future.

We stayed twice - first time on a motorbike, second time in the car. What we love here is that Wayne spreads campers out and the sites are huge, so you don't have people on your tent-step. Great showers and toilets, and very clean. Kangaroos bouncing around eating the grass. Great setting. Wayne very flexible. W

We camped for 4 nights, cooking meals on the camp fire. Campsites have fire pits and wood is supplied.
We enjoyed walking around the property spotting wildlife. Its so peaceful.
Only a short drive to go fishing at Baffle Creek or a swim at the beach. A drive to the beautiful National Park is definitely a must.
Friendly owners Wayne and Dianne have done a great job setting up this wonderful Bush Camp.

Sitting here enjoying the peaceful sounds of native birds while eating the complementary afternoon tea provided by Steven, the loveliest young owner of this beautiful bush camp!
Spacious, clean & tidy, very hot showers, communal fire and lots to do close by.
Highly recommend a stay at this very inexpensive hidden little gem!

Stumbled upon this hidden gem while passing through the area and glad we found it! Spacious choose-your-own-site setup, owners are very friendly and helpful, amemities are great and clean. A very peaceful place to stay in a beautiful area. Better than most of the campsites we've stayed in along the coast and for a fraction of the price. Definitely coming back next time we're in the area.

Excellent bush camp. Amenities very clean with new flushing toilets and the best hot showes. Although only been opened a few months this place is unreal. Celeste and Stephen are incredible hosts. Close to beach and River. Will certainly be returning.
