Our spacious, fully self-contained apartments all have water and/or city views along with large balconies. Guests enjoy free high speed internet, free parking including spaces for high-set or long vehicles along with full Foxtel channels. Only 550 meters from the main mall in the Darwin CBD our hotel is easily accessible to the CBD, Darwin Nightlife, waterfront, shops and restaurants. Facilities include onsite air-conditioned gym and a 28 meter saltwater pool. The accommodations are very new and contain full sized fridge, microwave, oven, dishwasher, cooktop, toaster, kettle and cooking and dining implements. It is perfect for both short and extended stays. Our onsite restaurant on level 3 provides an all-day menu from 6am to 8pm with room service available. Come down to the café and just chill out in the lounges overlooking the Harbour. The breakfast is one of the best in Darwin. Additional beds or cots on request. A conference room is available for special events or meetings. Direct bookings with the hotel include free breakfast.

This is my 3rd stay here and it just keeps getting better! Positives: price, location, staff, free parking, breakfast, pool, room facilities, & definitely the rooftop bar with free snacks and view. Shout out to Yoga who greeted me in the Cafe each morning with a lovely smile and personalised service because he remembered my name and coffee order . The only negative is the elevator problems I've sometimes encountered. The rooms are quirky - I mean, a bedroom in a glass box lol I'll be back!!

A pure fluke that we ended up at the Zen. What a great choice it was. Slightly quirky hotel. Very good staff, excellent apartment, so many facilities such as the gym, rooftop drinks with a 360 degree view of the city, great pool and the Horizen cafe. Very good choice of breakfast. Not far to walk to everything. Look out for a staff member called Ezekiel who is just delightful. If we return to Darwin will certainly stay there again. Especially if the lifts move quicker!!

We stayed at the Ramada Suites Zen Quarters in the second half of October for four nights and then stayed an extra night, because we enjoyed being there so much. The suite was very spacious with bedroom, bathroom, full kitchen including washing machine, dining lounge and deck. We were welcomed with a choice of complimentary drinks from the reception fridge. The breakfast vouchers were appreciated as they provided a variety of satisfying breakfasts overlooking the harbour with great tasting Gusto coffee from Seven Miles. The Rooftop Lounge was a delightful surprise with its 360 degree outdoor views of Darwin and its yummy complimentary nibbles with the purchase of a drink. What's more, the location is an easy walk to the Waterfront Precinct and CBD, and to top this off they provide an carpark. Great service, great amenities, great location.…

We have just spent the most pleasant 10 days at Ramada Zen Staff ,food ,rooms,property are all first class The staff are both pleasant and obliging only to happy to assist with anything you may need Rooms a big spotlessly clean and maintained also they have everything you need in them. We recently enjoyed a sneaky night out. Great value for money, better than most other places in Darwin city. Included breaky, late check out and drinks at the roof top bar! There's only one working elevator, so be prepared to either wait or walk the stairs.

The room was large, cool, and clean, with great views. With a kitchen included. The internet and many TV channels was also great. And the roof top garden was great at sunset and the free buffet was amazing ! The coffee shop food was nice with water views. And all stagg very friendly staff.

We arrived at the hotel around 5pm in the evening , as we checked in & about to pay for our room we were told don't worry you have already been charged for the complete stay earlier that day before arrival, I stated to the Receptionist that we shouldn't have been charged until arrival as per hotels terms & conditions, also i had a travel payment card which i wanted to pay the hotel with and not my credit card which i reserved it with, the receptionist was very helpful and immediately refunded my credit card and i paid with my travel card so i was happy enough, (ps: what is it with hotels charging you before arrival without informing you, very annoying ) We were directed to our apartment on the 7th floor which was a big spacious apartment with a balcony and a side view of the sea front, not a great view really as we were also looking over a bit of derelict land however, the room was reasonable with a washing machine and dryer which was handy when you are travelling around for six weeks,, the seperate bedroom was nice with good comfy bed, the bathroom was also of good size and a nice shower, the room had all the amenities such as tea making facilities, hair dryer, TV etc and good WIFI, We did feel the room could have been made to feel a bit more welcoming with a few nice pictures on the wall added, all the walls were bare, the room was clean and tidy however the patio furniture was very dusty and it looked like it hadnt been cleaned for some time. We had breakfast with our stay and it was of a very good standard as everything is cooked to order, you are allowed $22 each person, we found this adequate and covered a basic cooked breakfast, if you wanted a large breakfast however you would have to pay extra , from 8am onwards the breakfast room got very busy and hard to find a seat unless you want to sit outside in the heat, the rooftop bar was on the 13th floor, a great facility and great views , there was food offered complimentary every day from 3pm until 8pm , not a lot of choice but very good as a snack and a great added bonus to your stay, the only thing that was a bit of a let down was they closed the bar every evening before 9pm, a great shame really because the nights we were up there the bar was still busy at that time, bit strange !! The pool area was very nice and was great to cool off from the sun however although the areas around the pool arn't that spacious a few more sun loungers would have been ideal as at times there wasnt enough, All in all not a bad stay at this Apartment/ Hotel , it is reasonably situated from the main town centre, about a 10 to 15 minute walk , so that is handy, However they could make improvements to the rooms and amenities to make it an even better stay, would I stay here again, possibly, but I would check other Darwin hotels out first to see what was on offer !!…

Overall, reception area, hallways and room very outdated and dull. The rooftop bar is very good. Considering how hot Darwin is, I think a few umbrellas in the pool area would be a good idea (there are none). Also, the plastic sun lounges are very uncomfortable and while we were there no-one used one, leaving only five other ones to use. The breakfast is quite good, but it was hard to get a hot coffee (always just warm). It's quite a walk to the mall and also to the harbourside cafes which are great. I would suggest a shuttle bus would be of great benefit. It's amazing how different the photos advertising the place are from the real thing.
