Quick visit for a family of six. Great customer service from booking to check out. The accommodation is certainly modest, so if your one for five star this won't be the one for you! However, for a cheap stop providing air conditioning, ample space and a central location this is well worth a look. We stayed in a two bedroom...

These apartments are in a very quiet part of town but still very close to the action. The rooms are exactly as they are shown on the Luma Luma website no better or worse. Late night check in was no problem. Every thing in the room worked well and was clean.

For a night in Darwin, we found this motel very cheap. We found the room average. It was clean. We would have liked extra pillows/blankets in the cupboard but there was none. Everything worked well. It is within walking distance of Mitchel street. We felt safe walking into Mitchel st and then back to the motel. The car parking was a...

These apartments are really worn down and the sheets were so worn that there was actually a hole in one of them. The cutlery and crockery don't match and the shower door jams. I would not recommend the location if you like a good night's sleep as there is an enormous amount of noisy activity on the street late at...

A friend and I booked a two bedroom apartment. As you go through the main door from the public hallway there were two doors. One led to the main apartment which had lounge, bathroom, kitchen area, balcony and one large bedroom with it's own balcony. The other door led to a small bedroom with a tiny ensuite bathroom. For friends...

I needed somewhere cheap to stay and after reading all the horrible reviews of Luma Luma I decided to risk it anyway. I knew where it was and the location is perfect for walking around town. The reception was small but functioned well, and the check-in experience was friendly enough. Their designated parking area is tiny and you may end...

The location is the only positive thing about this place. Our double room was large, but very shabby. Every single power point had fallen apart and been repaired with sticky tape, which didn't seem particularly safe. The furniture was scuffed, the shower was mouldy, and the hotplates were covered in rust. Both of the bedside tables were infested with ants,...

I had this accommodation booked for me as part of a business trip. I wouldn't have chosen to stay here. The office staff were extremely polite and accommodated my every request. House keeping greeted me with a huge smile and wave each morning. The apartment itself is old, tired and somewhat suspect in cleanliness. However the bed was very comfortable,...

Have just arrived home after spending 6 days at the Luma. I booked the hotel and read the reviews later, so was naturally very worried as most reviewers were very negative.. I expected the worst. Well what a pleasant surprise, not so bad after all. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. Unlike another reviewer we had no...

Probably one of the worst hotel stays we have had, but it served its purpose as a place to sleep. Cheap option in the Darwin accommodation market, but for the price you pay it seems unworthy. Cockroaches, filthy kitchenette and just a tired worn out room. We made use of the pool but avoided the end where leaves and debris...
