We were made to feel very welcome and at home. Owners supplied transport, dinner and drinks above and beyond. (We paid where possible) Room was neat and clean though a little small. Hope they are still there as may be moving on?

One of the nicest places we have stayed at during our recent trip to Australia. Allan,Geoff and Carol went out of their way to make a trip to Darwin most memorable. We have spent three vacations in Australia for a total of 14 weeks and have not experienced this type of great hospitality. Bob's fishing excursion with Allan and Geoff was a highlight. The breakfast's were above and beyond our expectations.

Thank you so much for your review - sorry I have been without the computer for a few days so I was unable to reply earlier. It was our pleasure to have you stay with us, we were unable to control the weather as the monsoonal storm rolled across the top end but we were pleased to be able to find solutions to all your holiday requests and experiences. Thanks for your comments about breakfast, it is our aim to provide our guests with a varied quality meal while offering the exotic seasonal treats from the Top End to tempt your tastebuds. Happy travels until we meet again Carol, Geoff and Al.

I recommend this B&B as everything it promises to be in its advertising; I recently spent five nights there. The hosts Carol, Geoff and Allan are very welcoming and helpful. The bedroom, with large ensuite bathroom, was delightfully fresh and clean, with quality toiletries provided. The 'Aussie' Continental Breakfast is huge, with a range of fruit, cereal, toast and condiments provided, along with freshly brewed coffee made to order by Allan. It's in easy proximity to the airport, with direct routes into Darwin CBD and tourist spots. If you haven't got a car, you can catch the Darwin bus service nearby. All in all, a great accommodation place - highly recommended!

Lovely homey stay with a delightful family. The home was impeccably clean, and hospitality very generous. Very suitable for any traveller with a mobility disability or impairment.
We used public transport to get around and this was made easy by the location. Also there was fast WiFi.

What a surprise - meeting a couple originally from South West Victoria and what stories you shared with Geoff. We are so glad you were able to spend a few days revisiting Darwin - it has changed since you were here as a small child - but I'm pleased you were able to explore and enjoy the new Darwin - she has certainly grown up to be a beautiful lady. Enjoy the rest of your visit to Australia, the plans you have sound exciting and will offer many opportunities to explore and enjoy this beautiful country. Stay safe and enjoy, Carol, Geoff and Allen

We stayed at the wonderful B & B on our recent visit to Darwin. We had a great stay. The inn keepers Carol and her charming hubby Geoff are entertaining hosts. Location is ideal, it is very close to the airport. It is located in a quiet neighborhood. Premises are very clean and well kept. Bed was comfy. They have wonderful flower and plant garden around the property and a pool in the back yard. There are food and grocery stores a short walk away. Owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Breakfast was delicious. They do have a limited number of rooms so we would advise booking early.

Luci and Mike, it was our pleasure to have you as our guests during your recent stay in Darwin. I am so sorry we could not deliver on the Rosella Jam - at least our few bushes had produced a taste of the raw fruit - as predicted within days of your visit we found an abundance of the fruit at the Rapid Creek Market. Well that's a treat for your next visit. I can guarantee you'll enjoy it more than Mike enjoyed the vegemite. We're also pleased there were "no fights" during your stay - look forward to reading your blog of your travels to the Top End. Till we meet again Happy Travels

Thanks Carol, Geoff and Allen, for a wonderful stay. Bromeliad is a great find in Darwin - very welcoming hosts, great attention to detail, lots of helpful, local knowledge. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable, quiet at night, and with a restful outdoor area by the pool. I enjoyed the delicious and generous breakfasts, particularly the fresh, local tropical fruit and bush honey. There was a major power outage (12 hours) during my stay, and Bromeliad didn't miss a beat - making sure I was as comfortable as possible, with their backup generator and fans at the ready. I wish you all the best with your business.

Marg, Thank you so much for your kind comments about our efforts to make our visitors welcome in our Darwin home. I'm glad you enjoyed the Tropical Fruit and Top End Honey - I visit the market each week to try to offer an interesting variety of local produce for our guests Breakfast each day. The power outage was a challenge but it was great to see Geoff's prior preparation paid off and we were able to continue to provide for you when many others places had problems. Until we meet again, Happy travels, Carol & Geoff

Very spacious bedroom with large en suite...everything was spotlessly clean and room had comfortable bed, air con and ceiling fan and ample space to hang clothes and store belongings.
Hosts Carole and Jeff have a wealth of knowledge about the must see places and knowledge about Darwin history....so interesting to chat with them. Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to make sure that I had everything I needed...very warm and welcoming hosts. Felt safe and comfortable in their home.

I received a wonderful welcome and amazing support during a very difficult time in my life. No request was too much trouble for Carol, Geoff and Alan. The accommodation was comfortable and spotless and the breakfasts were delicious. The swimming pool was also immaculate and a welcome relief from the climate. It has been two months since I left and I still miss my 'home from home' and my adopted family!

We are so pleased we were able to provide you with a "safe haven" during your recent visit to relatives in our city. It was our pleasure to provide you with options and ideas during your stay. Geoff spends a lot of time to make sure the pool is a restful and relaxing experience for our guests. So pleased the gifts you took home were a success!!

I would highly recommend Bromeliad B & B to any of my friends famiy and business associates. It was the best B & B I have ever stayed in and I have travelled widely. Our hosts were friendly welcoming and nothing was too much trouble...and this was on top of the excellent quality of everything that was offered.

Carol and Geoff..... what lovely people! They helped make my stay in Darwin a memorable one, not to mention enjoyable.

On my first night I got in at about 1.30am and there was Carol, waiting for me to arrive with a big smile on her face. Each night of my stay was comfortable and I felt very safe. My room was beautifully set out, with everything one needs: Aircon, ample space for clothing and accessories, shower/toilet, ceiling fan and for me, the best part was the really comfortable bed. Outdoor facilities include a beautiful garden area, gorgeous swimming pool. Very relaxed atmosphere.

Carol always made an extra special effort to have my breakfast ready and my morning coffee. This lady doesn't miss a beat.

We had great chats with Carol and Geoff and they really did make me feel "at home". Their pets Molly and Lucky help you feel like you are right at home. Very cute indeed!

Thanks for a wonderful stay and I wish for you both health, happiness and prosperity beyond your wildest dreams.
