Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Despite the park being very busy (close to full), it was a quiet and peaceful stay. We had a large powered site which was easy to get in and out of, the grounds were clean and tidy, the pool was nice and refreshing, and staff were friendly. There were only 2 toilets and 2 showers (in each of womens/mens blocks) but somehow they were hardly ever full, or we only had a very short wait. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

Would recommend and stay again.
Ben and his team went over and above for me during my stay, even shuffled bookings to accommodate my booking for extra nights to stay in the same cabin.

The park is peaceful, tidy, has clean facilities in superb condition, presenting a nice atmosphere.

Cabin was in near new condition.

Look forward to staying again sometime soon.

Excellent park! About 20 mins from Darwin, but it’s an easy drive & doesn’t feel that far out. Park is beautiful & green & feels very tropical.

Cabins are pretty small but nice & comfortable. Could perhaps do with some improvements though, like including a bin in the bathroom, some more utensils & plates, a Tupperware container for food storage or even just to cook in, etc in the kitchen. Kitchen was actually very lacking in handy items. I know the camp kitchen is decked out with everything provided, but when you pay so much for a cabin, you should have these things included in your own space. Just a suggestion.

Camp kitchen is fantastic. What a great space for the many backpackers - has everything you need. We even left a few items in there like glad wrap, sandwich bags, etc that we had to buy for our cabin, which we know would come in handy for the next visitors.

Pool is beautiful. & overall feel in the park is very friendly & fun. We loved seeing the 5pm happy hour visitors to Ben’s Bar each day - just lots of happy, relaxed visitors around, enjoying the magic weather.

Park isn’t very big, but it is packed full of friendly visitors. Lovely place to stay. Mostly backpackers & grey nomads in the park, not a lot to do for kids.

Would definitely stay here again & highly recommend for visitors, perhaps without young kids.

This is a well-named Tourist Park. Don't be put off by Google street view. The neighbouring lot is not the tidiest. But once you go into the tourist park, behind the gate it is indeed an oasis. The managers have done a great job modernising this tourist park. Gardens are well maintained with lots of trees for a comfy, shady and relaxed setting. The central camp kitchen is new and features plenty of appliances and tables even for bigger family gatherings. The pool is heated just enough to take any chill out of the water, but still cool enough to feel refreshed in a hot summer (early this year). I booked a 1 bedroom cabin which was new, spacious and well-appointed. Most of the cabins look to have been renewed in recent times. Toilet blocks were well maintained. The whole park was clean and well maintained. My friends had a caravan and they were happy with the site facilities. The manager and staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was a problem. And the location of The Oasis means you don't do any city driving to get out to the tourist areas like Litchfield and Berry Springs. Just 20 mins from Territory Wildlife Park. I was dubious when I booked, but was very happy that I had. Stayed for 6 nights and enjoyed them all.

Why give this park 5 out of 5? This is the caravan park for you if you want quiet, clean, level, leafy sites, and clean facilities, (showers, toilets and laundry). It comes with a large camp kitchen and a clean, fun swimming pool. We booked for three days and extended to five. We would definitely return and cannot recommend this park too highly. The manager was professional, friendly and helpful and her offsider was also very helpful. Did I say the park was quiet. There was no noise from outside at all.

Originally we only booked in to stay 3 nights (when darwin went into a 3 day lockdown) , but ended up staying for another two weeks because the campsite and the people were so great (and we had been camping/ roadtripping for 5 months so really didn't expect to find a campsite where we felt so instantly settled). The facilities were great, the kitchen felt so homey, everything was so clean and there was lots of sitting/chilling areas, lots of shade and overall just AMAZING value for money. The best and most important part of our stay was just how friendly the staff and long term guests were. We absolutely loved our stay, it was a great start to our darwin experience and i can't recommend enough. thank you so much Oasis!!

It is a fantastic place. The shower and toilet blocks are very modern and clean. Lovely shared kitchens and bbq areas. Very nice pool. The Shady sites with concrete slabs are big enough and the park had a friendly atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

Excellent park. Nearly new cabin, like about 6 months old and great pool. Cabin was nice and roomy and easy parking. Stayed for 6 days and could have stayed longer. Be sure to book way ahead. It’s quite popular. That’s a hint I’d give everyone. Please don’t wing it or you may not find a spot where you want. So many are travelling now, seeing this wonderful country of ours. I’d stay at this park again for sure. It may be 20 minutes out of Darwin but then that means it’s closer to Kakadu, Litchfield National Park and the Noonamah Pub for dinner.

Booked ahead for a week; stayed for two. My wife and I only left then because we had to return home.
Friendliest park and management we have ever encountered. Ben went out of his way to accommodate our every need/request. The place is quiet and peaceful with lush, shady vegetation. Cabin was clean and comfortable. It is close to facilities like shopping centres and eateries and within easy reach of Darwin and it's attractions. And it is very affordable.
In one word : Fantastic.
Definitely would stay there again when visiting Darwin.

My girlfriend Jules and I stopped into Bens paradise. We were only going to stay the night. 7 days later we left. Staff were magnificent, grounds and ammenities are immaculate, and the owner/champion Ben deserves the highest praise we can muster. I will definitely recommend anyone heading to Darwin to stop at Oasis. Truly paradise run properly!
