Stayed 4 nights - amazing staff they really make the hotel with their respectful culture and easy to help attitude - just genuine and really friendly Beautiful location but the Ilkari Restaurant is really needing a new injection re an over priced buffet and even at 7pm the food looked over cooked and average but the Walpo Bar - best...

The Ayers Rock Resort offers all levels of accommodation throughout their resort. We stayed in Sails In The Desert. Everyone we encountered from check-in to check-out was professional, friendly, helpful and seemed to genuinely enjoy being there. The rooms were spacious, clean with super comfortable beds, which was great after all the walking we did!!! The food right throughout the...

Everything was perfect. Our room, check in, room service, restaurants and bars. All the staff were very polite and efficient. Our room was clean. We also did the Sound of Silence dinner and the Fields of Light both of which were amazing. We would definitely recommend staying here.

How do these folks staff this place? But we found the desk and dinning staff quite attentive, which is surprising considering how few alternatives there are. And it's a pretty big place. It's easy to get lost. I had low expectations since they were bound to have many tour groups, but it never felt like a group tour factory. And...

I had always decided that if I was going to Yulara I only wanted to stay at Sails. I was not disappointed! We stayed in a superior twin room which was situated on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool and garden. It was spacious and clean and the beds were divine. Staff were always helpful and friendly (this goes for...

We had a 2 night stay at this hotel. It's basically a luxury resort and priced accordingly, with an understanding that the remote location adds to the cost. The service was good, the room was clean, the pool looked stunning and it's a great base for the many activities at Uluru. But our room 181 was seriously sub standard in...

We stayed at Sails in the Desert for three nights in late April, during the Tjungu Festival. We booked a Superior Room on a package inclusive of buffet breakfast for a cost of A$306/night. Whilst rates vary throughout the year, at the time this was approx. $50/night more expensive than the other premium hotel at the Ayers Rock Resort, Desert...

Sails in the dessert is a low rise hotel that is part of the Yalara Resort. Staying at the resort includes transport to and from the airport as well as access to the free resort shuttle. Very friendly staff and well presented common areas add to the appeal. Rooms are spacious and offer a lounge area as well as a...

We had three nights at Sails on a deal and it was great value. It was comfortable and clean. The staff bend over backwards to help you get the most from your stay. The pool was pretty freezing (May) because the overnight temperature got down to 7C but it was a beautiful 28C most days.
