Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed at Emu Walk Apartments recently with my wife and 2 yr old son in a one bedroom apartment with full kitchenette.
The room was big, clean and had everything we could need. Good size that my son could play around with his toys.
We had the air conditioner on all the time as the temp hit 37° outside during the day and didn’t drop below 21° during the nights.
The reception desk staff were polite, friendly and always willing to offer good suggestions for things to do for us. Once closed for the night, if you did need anything from reception your were put through to Desert Sands Hotel instead - but they’re connected to each other anyway.
A good incentive was the $10 off your food and beverage bill if you put the door hang tag on your handle outside your door if you opted not to have your room made up each day.
Within short walking distance to the town square and Desert Sands Hotel to eat at their restaurants and swim in their pool.
Good hotel to stay at for a short time frame.

Our family of four adults recently stayed in the Emu Walk Apartments and absolutely loved it!
The whole resort has been carefully thought out and as you approach the apartments, they may seem a little pedestrian and ordinary.
On opening the door nothing could be further from the truth - split level, stylish and modern interior with everything you could wish for.
The little supermarket in the Town Square is well equipped with meat and fresh food, so we cooked in the apartment a couple of times.
Beds were luxuriously comfortable with quality linens and we especially enjoyed the light fixtures and decor.
As previously mentioned, BYO wine and you are set for a fabulous stay and don't miss the Field of Light art installation- truly stunning if you enjoy art.
And Uluru is so much more than a 'big rock in the desert'. It's a magical and spiritual place that will stay with me forever!

Airport transfers are free. This apartment is centrally located. Town centre, restaurants, shops, tour operators and IGA supermarket are on the outer edge of the apartment boundary. Our one bedroom apartment was spacious and had a safe in the living area. The kitchen was large with a washing machine and dryer in one of the cupboards. There was a large inverter microwave, bar fridge with small freezer, 4 hotplate stove but the only thing missing was an oven and dishwasher. There was a Tv in the living room as well as the bedroom, 2 couches in the living area, a large dining table and six chairs in the dining room. The bathroom was large and plenty of linen and bath essentials provided.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and the apartment was serviced daily.

We developed a good rapport with the maintenance staff. Our toilet would not flush when we first got to the apartment. On the third day the front door would not latch at 4;30am when we were going on our tour. When it finally locked we found out that housekeeping could not get in to service the apartment. We contacted housekeeping and when they showed up we could not access the patio as the door was stuck. Maintenance found a lizard jammed in the door frame and then had to replace the wheels on the sliding door to get it to work. Apart from these minor inconveniences we had an excellent stay.

The accommodation is of a very high standard. We had a one bedroom apartment in the Emu Walks self-contained apartments and it has everything needed for a very comfortable three-night stay. It was tastefully decorated and furnished with quality furniture, had central air conditioning that worked quietly and kept the room at a pleasant temperature along with a very comfortable king-sized bed. The low season 40% discount made it even more attractive.

We stayed here 2 nts in December and it was a very spacious apartment. The kitchen facilities were good though we only used it to make breakfast for my toddler. We mostly ate at Geckos in the square which I highly recommend of all the places on this site.

Well appointed apartments -perfect location for viewing platforms and use of pools at close by hotels and the shopping village. Kitchen well stocked for most meals and washing up liquid, tea towels etc provided. These apartments are not serviced but reception are very helpful and plenty of towels and toiletries were provided. Air conditioning was either on or off, we could not figure it out!

We stayed at the Emu walk self contained apartments. We found it to be surprisingly good; better than what we expected. We carried some food with us and the self contained kitchen was a great convenience. Make sure you carry your own booze with you as there is no bottle shop there.

These apartments are spacious well positioned and close to most facilities.
They are roomy and have separate kitchen, family/dining room and bedroom with large en-suite.
Bed is very comfy and as an added bonus you can go green by not having your room serviced and receive a daily $10 voucher which is credited against food and drink costs within the resort ( a great idea)
Would recommend as a place to stay and use as abase when exploring Uluru and surrounding attractions.

Outstanding check in by the receptionist as she handled a bus load of new arrivals in an efficiant, friendly and quick manner. She wasn't rushed or made anyone feel rushed. Every time I interacted with any of the staff they were helpful and just made the stay.

As for the property the apartments are well appointed and have most everything you'll need for a stay (washer, dryer, full kitchen so you can take advantage of the IGA supermarket that is only a three minute walk away.

We were in a 1 bedroom apartment and had an electric kettle. There are various cafe's etc within a 5 minute walk if you prefer something other than instant coffee - which is provided.
