We stayed for 3 nights in a Bush Tent (with air-con). The beds were comfortable. Without air-con we probably would not have stayed in the Bush Tent. The shower and toilet were nearby servicing the Bush Tents. We found these to be more than adequate. There was also a communal kitchen area with fridge, microwave, outside BBQ, etc. The pool is also a treasure, especially after hiking Kings Canyon. The cafe was fantastic serving the best coffee and food. A lovely outdoor, undercover area to dine or you can enjoy the air-con indoors. The staff were very nice. Breakfast was included in our package however we had an early start one morning and the staff packed us an awesome takeaway breakfast the night before. I loved the outback experience of Kings Creek Station, the wind, the red dust, no mosquitos and the silence. Would have loved a camel ride, however they had shut down for the season. It is the outback so you have to expect the above, ie wind, red dust etc. I loved it.

An easy drive from Uluru airport, quick check in process and easy to find the Mort Tents site, trolley available to move our bags from car to room which is a short walk. Our tent was exactly as described, both the room and bathroom were large and very clean, AC was already on when we arrived. Bed was comfortable, though the pillows were very hard, dinner at the station was OK and staff did a great job given how busy they were, take away breakfast was fantastic. We couldn't find the pool. A couple of small changes would be great - a light at the white gate so you can see the padlock code easily, have variety in the 4 pillows (soft, hard etc) and provide a spot for key drop at Morts site or allow key to be locked in room (that would save driving back to the station when you are rushing to sunrise) and more signage within the camp site to make it easier to find the sunset viewing. Overall great stay.

We stayed in the Mort Conway Camp which was in a nice secluded spot a short drive away from the main campground reception etc. The tent was well equipped with a mini fridge stocked with bottled water (you can't drink the bore water used for showering and the basin), air conditioning, a comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. There were also some folding chairs that you could use on the little deck to enjoy the bush setting, the sunrise, sunset and stagrazing were highlights. Also included was a main meal and buffet breakfast at the cafe which made things very convenient. We really enjoyed our stay, it was a shame we only had 1 night. Would definitely come here again.

We stayed in the bush tent for one night - very comfortable and we were close to the facilities. Fuel on site was expensive but we found that to be the case in Uluru area in general. The camel burger and food at the cafe for dinner was delicious. We decided to go on an early morning walk at the Canyon and would miss breakfast so the staff organised a to-go breakfast bag that was great. The camel farm on site was also great.

After the generally sanitised experience of Uluru and Kings Canyon this was a much more authentic glimpse of life in the outback. While the facilities are clean and comfortable it was easy to feel that we were on an operating station (which this once was). Food was surprisingly affordable (and delicious!) so good value all around.

Dreamtime Escarpment Package was amazing! Accomodation… tick! The glamping style tent was immaculate. Backed into the beautiful red escarpment, with 180 degree views through large (easy to open) zip down windows and a large, comfy bed.. Private outside toilet and shower set into the rock, and a patio decked out with all the things you need for a lovely dinner while watching the sun go down, speaking of… Food… tick! Inside your room you’ll find a fridge stocked with all the goodies you could want from a food and drinks package. A cheese platter that will take you all afternoon to finish as you have a wine, beer or some bubbles, For dinner we had the steak, delicious scotch fillet, served with a pasta salad, corn, and warm bread rolls. Then bacon and eggs or muesli for breaky. Thank you again to Sam, and all the wonderful staff at Kings Creek Station for their exceptional hospitality. 😊

It felt like we were camping in the middle of nowhere which was terrific and the stars were the brightest we saw for our whole trip. It was a very peaceful unique place to stay and one of my favourite places to camp. The kids enjoyed sitting around the campfire at night and watching the wildlife including birds and dingoes. One downside was the pool was out of service and the toilets and showers were quite basic but the overall hospitality and the great camel burgers made up for this.

We stayed at King’s Canyon for 2 nights at the end of Sept and we loved it! It was rustic to be sure but the a/c in the bush tents was great even with temps in the mid-30’s, the beds were comfy, and the food was excellent (we had breakfast, lunch, and dinner there). I appreciated the gluten-free options at each meal. Shared facilities (shower building, camp kitchen, pool) were clean and easy to use. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets to enjoy and an abundance of bird life to watch. It’s about a 20-min drive to King’s Canyon so easy to access the walking trails early in the morning, before it gets too hot. Highly recommend this spot.

Bush tents are low key but fabulous, an enjoyable stay and staff were very welcoming. Thoroughly enjoyed seeing the sunrise/sunset views, camels, donkey and dingoes. Camp kitchen and laundry has everything you need and more. Highly recommend.
