Biggest beef Parma I’ve seen and tasted wonderful. Campsite was mostly dirt with some grass but what else can you expect given the location. Diesel price was a bit steep but again, given the location, what else would you expect. Very friendly and helpful family running the place.

We had another delicious meal at Tilmouth Well, cooked by super-chef Carla and served by the always welcoming Melissa. I love this roadhouse, and highly recommend that you stop by for tasty meal, and a cold beer, or whatever you like, to go with it. There is great accommodation, a pool, a shop and good hot food to go. Just an hour from Alice on the Tanami Road.

First visit since 2019. Staff friendly but the toilets were closed for cleaning. Found this odd, for 13 years I have been stopping at this place never come across that before in the middle of the day. They would not be getting much use with the road closed at the unsealed section. This is the first toilet stop 200ks out of Alice the outside toilets are unusable have been for years. Not good enough. Also the chef was on a lunch break- yep the chef takes their break during the lunch period. Funnily enough I made a free call on the public telephone to my friend who is a chef, and she sure had a bit to say about that. When we eventually got something to eat the food was okay. A person at the community we visit said she was told at Tillmouth the cleaning sign was up to stop people using them! With road closed I find that disturbing.…

This was a fabulous stopover after three bone shaking days on the Tanami. Towed the camper trailer on to a lovely grassed powered site. We were able to hose off all the dust before opening up. So good. Bloke at reception (manager?) was just great. Friendly, informative, right balance of chatty. Good amenities. Had tea in the roadhouse. Good pub meals, reasonably well priced. Would recommend to anyone, especially those who have just done the whole Tanami,

Camped here early in March, it was so lovely we came back for Easter, ended up staying four nights. Lovely green prickle-free grass to camp on, so nice and quiet. The Tilmouth Burger is a must, hosts also were happy to provide us with cook your own bbq pack (which was enough for breakfast too) and salads. The birdlife was amazing after the rain, with hundreds of budgies nesting in the park and creek. The hospitality was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We stayed overnight on our way to halls creek, we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, they did everything they could to help us out The room was basic but very comfortable and clean, they are in the process of adding en-suite units Had a great meal and would certainly go back

Used to be a highlight for me with my yearly trip to the Tanami but what a difference new people make. The place looks good and the food is still okay but oh my they could not have been more unfriendly to us. Being glared at from behind the counter the way we were was unnerving to say the least. We are in our late 50's and I don't think we look the type to trash the place so have no idea what was going on with that. On our way back we stopped for fuel only. Next trip If these people are still there I will not be stopping for a rest and meal I will get all I need in Alice.

Horrible experience all round. Woman at counter seemed annoyed we were there to buy food and drinks. Was incredibly rude and unhelpful. Owner was extremely aggressive both on the phone and in person. After a confrontation with him we became fearful and intimidated by the owner and left immediately. Will not be revisiting. Avoid this stop if you can help it, the new management is awful.

Basic but clean and comfortable rooms. Great food, recommend in particular the burgers and schnitzel. A nice range of home made cakes and slices. Clean facilities. A lovely pool and grassed area. Highly recommend as a stop along the Tanami

We have recently stayed at the Tillmouth Roadhouse, whilst not the traditional 5 star some might expect (which is generally not available in the bush anyway), this remote roadhouse has very friendly helpful staff, very clean comfortable accommodation, good food and a number of the essentials for off the beaten track travel all at a reasonable cost. They also have camping facilities if required.
