Detailed Reviews
We stayed at G’Day Mate in Alice Springs and from the time we called and made the booking until we left we were impressed with the Park. Bill and Linda are both lovely and very welcoming right down to Bill helping you park your van. Nothing is to much trouble for them at any time. The ablution blocks were spotless, the water piping hot and the shower heads all good sized. You didn’t have to worry about your clothing get wet either because the cubicles were a good size. The sites are all grassed, there are heaps of trees and if you needed it a good camp kitchen. Everything was also COVID ‘friendly’. Thank you Bill and Linda for making our stay in Alice Springs so pleasant (and the Italian Restaurant you recommended had the best food).

I needed 7 nights accommodation over the Easter weekend to quarantine (yes, with COVID) at the end of a 2-wk holiday. Was so grateful to find a cabin free at this park, and that they didn’t refuse me entry . After contactless check-in, I was greeted from a distance by the cheerful cleaning staff member, Susie, who asked if I needed anything. I had my own kitchen, bathroom and shower ( out the back), and an outdoor space to sit. I was close to main entrance and laundry, but it was nice and quiet. Very comfy bed, which I used a lot. Thankyou 🙏🏻

We stayed here twice in an ensuite caravan site which only cost $10 extra. A beautiful park and such delightful staff Linda Marie and Rusty who took you to your site. I did a load of washing and had to use the tumble dryer, wow what a fantastic dryer it was huge and clothes dried in the 20 allocated minutes. It’s right next door to a great brewery with great pizza. Would certainly recommend.

Most has been said before about how welcoming Bill is at this park. He greets you like a long lost friend with a lovely, friendly, engaging disposition.
There is grass , shade and clean amenties.
We absolutely loved having all that bird life thanks to no dogs and cats allowed in the park. It was also quieter as a result as the current park we are in (not Alice Springs) accepts dogs and one was left on its own yesterday and whined for ages. We were woken at about 4.00 a.m. by the next door neighbours dog baking.
Thank you to G'Day Mater for being pet free and yet attracting such a lions share of the business.

This is the 5th time we have camped at this park in a 12 year period. The owners are amazing and really work hard to make their park a very good experience. We booked into an ensuite campsite for two nights but added two more nights as it was so easy to explore the Macdonal ranges from this park. Even though Alice Springs currently has some issues the park owners gave fair warnings and make sure that the park is closed after 6pm at night. This is our stopover whenever we go through Alice Springs.

That is how we arrived and found this amazing park - how impressive is it when the manager delivers you to your site and guides you back into position. Shady private sites, love very pool, secure and safe. Very welcoming staff and a great quiet location.

We have stayed here a few times over the years and have found it very convenient, plenty of clean amenities and the staff helpful and friendly. There are lots of shady spots. Pets are not allowed which is delightful for the majority of us who do t travel with animals.
As well as powered and unpowered sites there are self contained cabins. Laundry facilities are clean and accessible.
Views of the McDonnell Ranges from your door is a bonus.
I would highly recommend this Park. Booking ahead is recommended.
