Linda & Bill are so cheerful, helpful and perfectly suited as managers of a tourist park. They made my stay very enjoyable. The park feels like an oasis - grass in the desert is a luxury. Amenities are very clean & contemporary, laundry facilities plentiful, and the pool refreshing. It’s tricky finding a spot it’s so popular.

We booked into a G'day Caravan Park at Karrutha because of previous good experience with G'day Parks at other locations. We paid $54 per night for a powered site. The site was good BUT the amenities offered were in a poor state. There were what appeared to be new wash basins and they were clean but the whole amenities area needs a thorough deep clean. Dirt had accumulated in the corners and on top of the row of tiles lining the wall. Most of the locks on the showers and toilets were in need of replacement. One toilet was locked and running water was constant. Our first night there I found three out of four toilets unuseable. Toilet paper all over the floor, the lid of the toilet paper container was in the toilet bowl and the floors filthy. Another person staying at the park said that some non residents of the park had caused problems. No locks on the entry doors. When we checked in we were told that there were no codes or locks because they had no problems. The mop provided to use after showering was a squeeze mop and the small amount of foam rubber remaining on the head fell off when I tried to mop the shower floor. The young cleaner said a new mop was on order. On the Saturday evening entertainment was provided. The SMS invited us to come along to the BBQ area. We already had plans to go out for dinner. When we arrived back at the park at 9pm the music was very loud and lots of very noisy people. The noise continued until 11pm and some fellows from the cabins were wandering around the vans and language was disgusting. Why did management allow this to continue? The opening of the office at 10am makes it difficult to personally Lodge a complaint. Not a park I would recommend to anyone! Why are they allowed to be part of the G'day group? Not a good look!!!

We've stayed here many times & prefer this park to anywhere else in Alice. Bill & Linda are such welcoming hosts, even when I stuffed up our booking & we had two cars. They moved people to different sites to accommodate us & even gave us an upgrade to an ensuite site. The park itself is nice & the amenities are very clean. Thank you Bill & Linda, you'll be seeing quite a bit of us in the months ahead.
