This motel was a relaxing cool haven on a hot day in Wagga Wagga. Wifi worked well. Air conditioned ground floor unit was self contained with good options to self cater. We would stay here again next time we are in the area.

I stayed here whilst visiting Wagga Wagga for work. The room was quiet, very clean and spacious. It included a full sized fridge, eating utensils, plates, glasses etc and a microwave which was great. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom looked as if it had been recently renovated and was also very clean and spacious. The staff were friendly...

Great value! Friendly & accommodating staff (even if you lock yourself out of your room at 11pm 😬) Lovely clean & spacious rooms right by the river. Big bathroom. Beautiful little kitchenette equipped with everything I needed. I enjoyed my morning coffee on my balcony overlooking the river, listening to the wildlife and watching people walking, cycling & running along...

We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is in a great position and accesses the River Walk from its back perimeter. The room was large and very well equipped with a kitchenette and full size fridge and microwave. The full size bathroom with large walk in shower was a welcome change to over the bath showers. The a/c was...

Arrived early afternoon in over 40 degree heat, the air conditioned reception was lovely and so were the ladies in reception. Nice room with a small kitchen area a large bathroom and plenty of space in the bedroom area. Close to the main street shops and supermarket, around a 10 minute walk to the supermarket. There were breakfast packs in...

I love staying at The Lawson. It's clean and quiet and just a little bit old world with its lanterns and ceiling roses! Get a room that overlooks the Murrumbidgee River, which flows along its back garden or, better yet, one that opens to the back gate which, in turn opens to the Murrumbidgee walking track. Locals say its a...

There was a real sense of refined comfort at this one. There were elegant arches between the lounge and kitchenette, a huge bathroom. A bonus was the easy access to walk along the levy overlooking the river. I walked into town for dinner, without difficulty as it is level. Or its a very short drive.

The Lawson is one of our favourite places to stay. A quiet area alongside the river. The local bird life , kookaburras and cockatoos are a little noisy.:-) As always, the room is spacious and clean. There is no restaurant (still). I doubt there will be in the future. Other than this it is great.
