As a loyal Accor Plus Member, I try to stay at their hotels as often as I can. This hotel continues to disappoint when we stay in Wagga Wagga. The room was clean and tidily presented. The restaurant again disappointed. While the steaks were outstanding, the service was average.

Stayed 1 night on a business trip. Unfortunately the room was directly above reception so a little noisy and when I walked into the room - there was an unpleasant stale smell. The room was spacious but very dark.

Dear Compass51592064784, Thank you for the review on Tripadvisor from your stay with us at Mercure Wagga Wagga. I am very sorry to hear you experienced a restless night, we take all feedback very seriously whether it is positive or negative and we always ensure that it is passed on to management to investigate further. All our beds feature a deep latex pillow top mattress which is a softer style. With so many different styles and types of mattresses available, we choose one that would appeal to the broader market. I will pass on your comments to the owners regarding the type of toilet paper which is used throughout the Hotel. The air conditioning units have been checked over by maintenance and our contracted company and there were no issues or faults that were found. We will be sure to replace the older units when the time comes. We appreciate you sharing your concerns with us. We wish you the very best for the future. Kind Regards, Melanie

The hotel is located with walking distance to the main shopping district of Wagga Wagga. The hotel staff were all polite and efficient, making the check-in procedure relatively smooth and quick. The room that I stayed in was large (double) and was well-stocked with amenities.
