Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I’ve really enjoyed this hotel, it’s far beyond expectations. My friend and I stayed two nights and it’s very good because of a few factors- Leanne was friendly and let us access our room at 1pm, it was ready and she was welcoming. I’d spoken to Greg a few days before to organise the booking and he was super easy going, & he helped me decide on the best room for my needs. Honestly, this sort of genuine interaction is rare these days and I find it really refreshing. The rooms are very nice; roomy, high ceilings and clean, a walk in shower, extremely comfortable beds, crisp linen, fluffy towels fresh each day ( I wouldn’t mind reusing) good quality soaps, tasteful furnishings. Undercover car parking on site (I understand this is unique in central Wagga hotel style accommodation) The gardens, courtyard and pool area are very clean and tidy, cushions on the benches and nice table and chair seating area, roses and plants well tended. Located adjacent to the peace mural on the levee bank end of town, there are excellent restaurants and cafes close by, as well as a cinema, pubs & a river walk. I will be back.

We were full of expectation because that motor inn was recommended by local info center but in the end it was a bit letdown. We have traveled Australia more than one week, every night on different place, so, we can compare. I think motor inn needs reconstruction or lower prices. We found 5 wall sockets defunct, both table lamp defunct, heating a bit defunct. In the morning around 6am someone used shower in next room and it whistled more that 15 minutes, in pipes maybe.

stayed in a refurbished king balcony room which backs on to the river. Room very dark due to heavy curtains covering door. Not enough artificial light for when curtains are drawn. Bed comfortable. Bathroom ok although shower could do with a proper clean as it was quite mouldy. Raining on our stay unfortunately but the stairway were covered which was a plus.

While the 2-bed rooms in this hotel are a bit dated, the one we were in was clean and had comfortable beds. There are several good places to eat within a block of the hotel, and the off-street parking means you won't be battling with other users of the area. The desk clerk was friendly and accommodating of our late arrival. Although the curtains are heavy, a lot of light comes in around the edges and then in the morning sunlight comes in through the skylight and windows at the back of the room, so if you're light-sensitive while sleeping be sure to bring an eye mask.

This motel is located in the older part of Wagga, so very handy for restaurants and shopping and with the river right next to the hotel, river walks. The motel is an older style property, modernised rooms, but with high ceilings and a very traditional feel. I found the room to be quite dark, but comfortable enough and very clean. Bed was firm and shower was excellent. There is some undercover parking on a first come first served basis. My only negative comments would be that milk is decanted into a mini milk bottle and given to you unsealed when checking in (never had this before) . The room servicing (if staying more than one night) I found to be quite poor, bed not made, bin not emptied and cup not washed (towels were replaced and the bathroom cleaned however) Otherwise stay was ok.

My husband and I stayed here last night (3/3) Room 10. Leanne at Reception was most helpful. Our room was spotless. Had everything we required. We had dinner at the restaurant. Filet steak, medium rare, vegetables and mash was delicious. Steak was pink no blood. Vegetables were cooked to perfection. Not raw like some other restaurants. My husband had the fettuccini. He is not a big eater but cleaned his plate and pronounced his meal delicious. We did share the deep fried olives which were great. We had breakfast here this morning, and again were very happy with our meal. We would definitely stay here again. Leanne and Greg make you very welcome. Thank you

This accommodation’s niche to similar priced corporate style rooms on offer is it’s outward retro style motor inn that is comfortable, quiet and clean presented among classic design lines. Car parking is safe and close at your door. Room prices are reasonable and reception staff are friendly and sincere. Location is ideal being close enough and far enough away from the bustle of the city centre.
