This property has new owners and one hopes they spend some money on what is becoming a tired motel - Ok as a workers camp but needs a better standard for discriminating corporate customers. The lock on my door was not working properly but fortunately another staff member was able to force the lock. A positive was that one of the owners was very helpful in this situation and was prepared to call a locksmith if necessary. She admitted that the locks need replacing. There were no face washes (expected in the price range for this property - $160 plus) and the towels were frayed. The steak I ordered in the restaurant was burnt black. Hopefully the new owners will give this property a badly-needed refurbishment. In the meantime I will be staying at other properties in Wagga Wagga. This motel is well out of town so anyone arriving by train or plane in Wagga Wagga and working in the CBD would be better to stay at a hotel in the CBD. …

Our company rents rooms for employees in the best hotels! The Quality Inn Carriage House has a very fast check-in. There are no problems with parking here. The front desk staff are very friendly :) Not far from this Hotel, I found shops, restaurants, gas stations and more.

Disgraceful service from the Night Manager. She would rather SLEEP than let us check in. Outside, no where to stay, accommodation was PAID for prior to arrival, 8 yr old crying in the car, turned phone off after I asked how we could check in. She could not have cared less. Please don't attempt to stay here. Do NOT book, do NOT look, go straight past GO, do not collect $200, still waiting for my REFUND!

Had dinner at the restaurant tonight. We have a family member with allergies and the chef came out to ensure that she would be happy, he was amazing!!! All 4 of us travel a great deal and we have never had a meal of this quality without going top shelf. We can not recommend this chef highly enough!!!! The meal was incredible.

It was by pure coincidence that i stopped at the carriage house for my overnight stay. I have stayed at a few hotels in Wagga and my regular hotel was unable to cater for my request. On check in Nigel was incredibly friendly, he suggested I eat at the onsite restaurant which has a new chef. I thought I’d give it go, and wow the meal far exceeded my expectations, I had the Snitz and it was by far the biggest one I’ve ever had. Nigel even gave me a complimentary beer which was a nice touch. The room was a great size, the shower pressure was by far the best I’ve had in Wagga. I think the carriage house looks like my new overnight stay when I’m next in Town

It was ‘the little things’ that impacted our rating of this property. These included floor lamp & bedside lamp not working, a compendium that no longer represented the services available, conflicting internet login instructions (each with different passwords) and FOXTEL that wasn’t accessible. After booking for what I thought was a great price, the final taxes and other charges (?) were added, no longer making this the best value for money but the booking was done so we ran with it. Upon checking out no receipt was offered. The final insult was an even higher amount found on the credit card transaction than what was first invoiced when we booked. In the absence of information (itemised receipt) from the venue, we can only assume this was some kind of credit card surcharge. Notes: 1. The bathroom is very compact - when sitting on the toilet your each shoulders can touch the shower screen & the vanity at the same time! There’s no space for placing a wash bag etc. 2. This property has no restaurant available and only offers continental breakfast packs delivered the night before. 3. Not close to town & dining options - thank goodness for MenuLog. I was booked in here for a night. At 11.50am I got a call from the motel telling me they had an issue with the hot water and they intended to book me into another motel. First, the fact they called and let me know well before I arrived is great customer service, and coupled with they were most concerned and apologetic for the situation was in my eyes well above the minimum they could have done. So, I never stayed here but I still rate them 5 star.

Pool was murky. Air con is on a sensor and would switch off when we were still. V annoying. Rooms recently updated, but age of property was still present in room. Bathroom had sewerage odour. Overnight lots of flies appeared in bathroom. Excellent water pressure.

We recently stayed at this motel for a few days. It is out of town and too far to walk so you need to drive but that is not a problem, as the location is nice and quiet on large grounds, far enough back from the main road so traffic noise is not a problem. Our stay was nice and relaxing and the owners were very helpful. I would recommend this motel to anyone travelling to Wagga.

Thee are certain expectations I have and customer service is number one. Was staying a extended stay but could not order hot breakfast because it was after 8 pm. So next day, I left breakfast order in key return box before I went to work and next morning no hot breakfast. The rooms are only serviced if you elect to have them cleaned daily by filling out form to do that. However rooms a good size and if in court yard area very quiet and well presented.
