Detailed Reviews
A great location for exploring Sydney, very near ( short walks) to trains, light rail and major shopping areas.
With a major supermarket, restaurants and cafes nearby.
This was our second stay here, -4 nights in a one bedroom suite which included a kitchen,( fridge, stovetop, microwave, sink) laundry facilities and a lounge/ dining area.
Free ( good) wifi, excellent room service and helpful, unobtrusive staff. The suite was quiet and clean, though showing a little wear and tear in the bathroom/ laundry area. Has a gym, pool and sauna on the 7th floor. Strongly recommend it for short breaks or extended stays.

I recently stayed at fraser suites Sydney and had a fantastic experience. The room was surprisingly spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and move around comfortably. The location was perfect—conveniently situated near key attractions and transport links, making it easy to explore the area. The staff were exceptionally accommodating, always ready to assist with any requests or questions. A standout feature for me was the availability of a washing machine and dryer in the room, which was incredibly useful for my long trip. It’s a great option for those looking for a home-away-from-home experience. Highly recommend! :D

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveller reviews.
I stayed at this property for 5 nights whilst visiting Sydney. The staff were lovely and attentive to any requests.
The room was a little under my cleaning standards, dust on some surfaces and hair in a few places, however the linens were clean which is most important. I opted to not have my linen changed but it was nice to still have my bed made each day.
The pool/gym facilities were fine but needed a little TLC. The gym equipment was old and could do with a service. The spa was over-chlorinated resulting in a burning feeling in my eyes and skin irritation.
Breakfast in Mezzanine was wonderful. Lots of option, hot and cold, sweet and savoury. On entry, the staff took my coffee order and on most days by the time I had grabbed my food and sat down, the coffee was ready and delivered to my table. I was a little concerned the first day on table cleaning turnover but after experiencing the rest of the week I believe they may have been understaffed as from then on it was wonderful.
Location is perfect with just a short walk around the block to the Light Rail and Town Hall Train Station.
As a solo traveler, I felt safe and well looked after.

This review is purely based around our experience of the building, which reflects upon the higher management echelons of this business. The local staff on the ground in the Sydney suites have our sympathies and were struggling under the circumstances in which they claim they had been placed.
We arrived from the airport and taken to our room on the 40th floor. The room temperature was 34 degrees celsius despite being advertised as an air conditioned apartment. We called reception expressing our concern and were informed that the room should cool within 30 minutes as this was a new system that had been installed that rapidly cooled rooms once entered. This was not our experience in this room, nor in the apartment we then asked to be moved to (although, thankfully, it was cooler … slightly).
We found out that the Head Office had decided that a great way to save money was to have air conditioning that is only triggered by movement within an apartment. The sensor for our room was in our living area, which meant when we went into our bedrooms, our air conditioning would stop and our room would heat up. We also realised if we went out into the Sydney CBD, the room would be too warm upon our return. We came to an arrangement with the reception staff (who had access to the aircon sensors and triggers) so they would put on our aircon by retriggering the sensors every fifteen minutes. We also had to keep our curtains closed all the time to prevent the rooms overheating.
The McQuarrie Australian dictionary word of the year for 2024 was “Enshittification”. Our Fraser Suites experience would appear to be a living example of this. We have enjoyed Fraser Suites in Singapore on several occasions, hence wanting to patronise their Sydney premises. Hearing that this air conditioning system has been implemented worldwide makes me hesitant to endorse this franchise moving forward…

We sincerely apologize for the challenges you encountered during your stay, particularly with the air conditioning system. We understand the frustration this caused, and we truly appreciate your patience while our team tried to address the issue. We booked 5 nights in a Deluxe one bedroom suite, which was located on the 22nd floor. On arrival, I noted that several parts of the suite were not clean. There were terrible stains on the sofa, long dark hairs in the bedroom drawers and an empty water bottle and popcorn packet at the back of the sofa, amongst other issues. I called reception and advised of my concerns. The duty manager and housekeeping manager arrived very soon after and noted the issues I had. They acted very promptly to move us to another suite on a higher floor, which was in much better condition after they had taken the time to arrange a deep clean before we moved into it. I cannot fault the actions of the duty manager, who checked in with us over the following days to ensure we were comfortable and didn't need anything further. A truly excellent recovery from what could have been a poor experience. If the duty manager hadn't been so understanding and accommodating, it would have been a very different outcome. I have passed on our thanks to Fraser Suites directly as this sort of customer service should be applauded when it happens.

We really love Fraser Suites Sydney and cant recommend it enough! We stayed in the studio apartment and were very impressed with the quietness and black out curtains!
Location wise, its next to the regent place where many asian restaurants are. Only 5 mins walk to Townhall station makes going to opera house a breeze.
The room was dusty when we arrived though, but we requested it to be vacuumed and this was solved.
The highlight was the check in staff, who gave us access to the gym to shower as we arrived very early at 8 AM and the room was not ready.
Overall I went away a happy customer!

We stayed 4 nights in a 1 bedroom deluxe apartment. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable and well equipped. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and nice to deal with. The room was serviced each day with clean towels, bed made etc…The location is really good for getting around the cbd and close to shops and supermarkets and cafes.
The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star rating is that the kitchen and bathroom really weren’t as clean as they should be for a 5 star hotel. Superficially clean but not really clean. The vent over the hob was caked in grease and dust, I had to wash the saucepans before I felt happy to use them, the shelving in the cupboards in the bathroom felt sticky from previous people’s toiletries. I can imagine it must be hard to have the time to give an apartment a thorough clean between each guest but the vent and saucepans was very off putting - especially as I’d noted on our booking that I needed the kitchen to be spotless as I have food allergies and would need to cook simple meals. That said I would still stay there again as everything else was done well.

We arrived early morning, no expectations of checking in just a bag drop, the employee said he had rooms but that they were on available on payment that ours was poor , small and inadequate for 5 nights ,would be on a lower floor ,, a very hard sell technique, the room was exactly what we chose, perfect for sleeping , great shower , adequate kitchenette , missing a coffee making facility ( unheard of in Europe at the rate we paid )
We had to ask for room servicing on day 3 as for 2 consecutive days l,even at 4pm our room not been serviced ! To this we were told was not included automatically as we had received a “ genius” discount ! A ridiculous answer! To which the employee then amended to “we had lots of checkouts “in 5 days we never received a good morning: greeting which we instigated and never recieved ! Warm, sincere , greeting ! First Rule of customer service ! It was only on checkout that we encountered a sincere employee !

While we're glad you enjoyed the location and found the room suitable, we're truly sorry to hear about the service issues you encountered. It is never our intention to make our guests feel pressured during their stay, and we will address the concerns you mentioned regarding the room upgrade conversation to ensure our team’s approach remains professional and guest-focused. Regarding the housekeeping service, we apologize for the inconvenience. Stayed here 24 days, evey day there was a banging or knocking that Mtg never sorted, they only cleaned tge room 3 times in 24 days…got tired of asking for laundry detergent and dishwashing detergent and dishwasher detergent. I simply went and bought it all myself. They gave me a flash light as the means to see in the closet, dryer did not operate correctly. They had timy trash bins in the room that got filled up quickly and i was told to leave the little bags of rubbish out in tge hall for collecty, lol weird. Mgr was zero help, offered me to stay with bim in the future a. He would do better…never even offered to reimburse me for the cleani g products i purchased. I spend over 6,000.00 dollars at this hotel. One thing the entire staff including the Manager was great at, was……
Apologizing!! Very disappointing
“Sorry your stay was so bad but stay with us again…… spend more money with us and we will do better next time”.

Dear joelcutler. Thank you for choosing Fraser Suites Sydney. We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are saddened to hear that your overall stay did not live up to your expectation. Your constructive feedback has been shared with the responsible departments for review and we will certainly make the necessary changes to improve our future product and service offering. Due to the nature of the long stay booking only one weekly service is allocated since you stayed with us for just under 4 weeks therefore 3 Housekeeping services was allocated. Additional housekeeping service is certainly available for our guests upon request at an additional cost. Additional amenities such as dishwashing detergent can be requested anytime via Guest Services. Once again we apologise for not meeting your expectation this time. We hope to get another opportunity in the future to redeem ourselves. Kind Regards. William

Love our 3 nights stay in the one bedroom suite which was very spacious and comfortable. Highly recommended to pay a little more for a much bigger suite than studio. The equipped washing machine and dryer are exactly what we needed. Perfect downtown location, Town Hall and QVB are just round the corner, walkable distance to most of the attractions.
