Detailed Reviews
The place was as described, clean and comfortable. Beds were comfy. The location was convenient, about 25 min walk to Sydney opera house, city was a walk-able distance. The place is very close to the botanical garden. Underground paid parking was valuable, street parking was extremely hard to find...so highly recommend paying for underground parking with your booking. Obviously we missed a pool, but that is the trade-off. We will definitely stay again.

The apartment was very generous in size and exceeded our expectations with the inclusions. The washing machine and kitchen facilities were excellent, the location was ideal and quiet and we were very happy with the price we paid. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly.

Nice and clean studio apartment with plenty of space for a family of 4. Very friendly and helpful staff, sorted out the kitchenette questions for us late after hours. The hotel is the great location just 25 min walk from the Opera House or 30 min walk to the Darling Harbour. Secure onsite parking, although lifts do not go down beyond the ground level, so be prepared to cary your luggage from the car to the lobby. The room we stayed in was at the very end of the building so the wifi reception was a bit patchy, otherwise very positive experience.

We were in the city for a 2 day business conference. The complex is being renovated. This is not disclosed on the website anywhere. We arrived late Thursday afternoon 4.30pm to be advised that the place was being painted and renovated but it shouldn't affect our stay. To my right at reception I overheard others complaining. We took the lift to the 4th floor where our room was. We exited the lift and was greeted by drop sheets everywhere, gyrock dust, painters tape across everything and the strong smell of toxic paint must stronger then any domestic house paint. Our room door was wide open and all the windows were opened to try to mask the smell of paint fumes. We immediately turned around and left. I told reception I am an asthmatic and couldn't breath with those fumes they were that strong. Reception apologised and agreed it "was pretty bad"-the manager quickly processed our refund that would take 4 business days to be returned to my card. We asked if we could keep our car there but they said no. You would think they would try to make some amends. They didnt!, so back to the car park we went. So here we are Thursday night, no accommodation, forced to take whatever was available at the closest hotel at the Ovolo at walk in expensive rates. The 2 night stay there cost us close to $800!. All of this should have been disclosed on the this and Nesuto website and before we booked. Their failure to disclose this information about the toxic paint renovations costs us over $500 more in last minute accommodation. We do not recommend.

Reset your expectations. This is a 3 star serviced property. It is absolutely NOT worthy of a 4.5 review on Trip Advisor. It challenges the imagination to understand how this property could be rated as such. It is a very tired. The carpet is stained and dirty. Room furnishings are old and worn. Mattresses are worn and soft. If you want a washer/dryer in your room, you must make this specific request. The good: Only 15 minutes from Circular Quay and the staff (Rachel, in particular) is friendly and accommodating. But lipstick on a pig is still a pig. I don't recommend this property unless to a family or young travelers needing a large space as a trade-off for cleanliness and quality.

We were here for 5 nights, family of 4 with 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The impression from the outside was that this was a bit run down, which was confirmed in the room. Very large room with a small kitchen and bathroom, but the walls and floor were worn, the beds hard and the bathroom had hints of mold. Positive with a washing machine and dryer in the bathroom which gave the opportunity to wash some clothes. We had breakfast included, and this was of the simplest kind imaginable. Dining room in an uncomfortable room, with some toast and cereals, as well as some jam and drinks. We also didn't like the area in the evening. Moved to CBD afterwards and had a much better experience there.

Great location, secure, nice beds and clean sheets. Spacious apartment for a family stay in Sydney. However, it stops there. The room was very run-down and grotty in general. It was impossible to open the sliding wardrobe doors due to them being completely jammed in their tracks, the bathroom sink plug was completely clogged with gunk so we had to remove it and clear it to drain the sink. Some kitchen cupboard doors were broken and there was a filthy half melted candle in a dusty glass holder on display on a shelf - both a fire hazard and very unattractive. Water was dripping from the airconditioning vent onto the bed. We paid over $650 a night for this due to it being the Taylor Swift weekend, which was a complete rip off although all the hotels were doing that. We liked the location in Wooloomooloo but would try to find a better maintained property next time we stay here. I would only stay here again if I was once again desperate.

This was a very spacious room that was able to sleep a family of 4 or 5 (with sofa bed). It is in an excellent location - easy walk to botanic gardens, opera house, circular quay, and CBD. There is also a nice cafe for coffee and breakfast less than 100m away. There was also a laundry washer and dryer in our room - we did not use it but would have been very useful for an extended stay. Overall great value and very nice experience for our family!

Apartment/Hotel concept.
The apartments are large but in need of serious updating (stained carpet, broken tiles, rickety cupboard doors, broken fridge door).
The situation is not the best. A little out of the center, few means of transport, a few shops on Victoria Street (it's climbing!).
Cleaning is only done every 5 days and there is very little explanation of how the hotel operates.
Fortunately, there is a reception (open until 6 p.m.) to answer your questions.
The nearest tube station is King Cross.
If possible try to get an apartment on higher floors (minimum 3rd), below is noisy in the morning.

This is a mediocre apartment hotel. You shouldn't expect more than that. You can sleep there and there is a washing machine, dishwasher and fridge. It was reasonably well cleaned but no more. However, the breakfast was not worth the name. Some toast with jam or ham/cheese and coffee. Have breakfast nearby instead.
The location is good and you can walk to the opera house in about 20-25 minutes.

Hello
The "hop on hop off" bus does not use the OPAL card, this is a private tour company and you need to purchase tickets for this.
The Opal card is for public transport, buses, trains and ferries.
The 311 bus is our closest public transport and the stop is located on Cowper Wharf Road just 300 metres from our property located on Dowling St.
The Big Bus - "hop on hop off" bus stop is also located Cowper Wharf Road about 400 metres from our property - the stop number for the Big Bus closest to Woolloomooloo Waters is number 7.
I hope this helps
regards
Brad Symons
