Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great location, secure, nice beds and clean sheets. Spacious apartment for a family stay in Sydney. However, it stops there. The room was very run-down and grotty in general. It was impossible to open the sliding wardrobe doors due to them being completely jammed in their tracks, the bathroom sink plug was completely clogged with gunk so we had to remove it and clear it to drain the sink. Some kitchen cupboard doors were broken and there was a filthy half melted candle in a dusty glass holder on display on a shelf - both a fire hazard and very unattractive. Water was dripping from the airconditioning vent onto the bed. We paid over $650 a night for this due to it being the Taylor Swift weekend, which was a complete rip off although all the hotels were doing that. We liked the location in Wooloomooloo but would try to find a better maintained property next time we stay here. I would only stay here again if I was once again desperate.

Liked · The rooms were very clean and tidy. The location was easy to access public transport. The staff was cooperative and helpful. Disliked · The major disappointment was the TV that was provided. That's the main reason I will never go back to this hotel. It was not a smart TV. We went many times for holidays to many places, even though we stayed once in a cabin for two days but there was a smart TV too. This TV was very, very old, with some channels and on top of that few we couldn't see. It was tough for my 4-year-old daughter; she got bored just the 2nd the day of our stay.

We booked a one bedroom apartment which had a king bed in the main room and twins in the bedroom. Very spacious, good kitchen with almost everything we needed. Bathroom was excellent, great shower, plus bath, washing machine and dryer. Excellent facilities. Good WiFi, very reasonable room rate. Very convenient to CBD (25 minute walk) easy drive access too, Helpful staff. Secure parking on site. We were there five nights and enjoyed every one! We will be back

The location is great. Quiet area, great eating and drinking spots nearby, and an easy walk to the city or kings cross railway. The apartment was spacious with great views of the harbour bridge and centre point tower from the balcony. We were very comfortable, howevet the apartment is in need of updating and some items were very worn (e.g. dining chairs). There were some items missing in the kitchen, which were replaced when we asked about this. The air conditioning is old and while it works to a point it takes a while to cool the apartment down. Staff were helpful and friendly. I think it is good value for money given the amount of space.

Good value for money. Mostly clean and convenient location to most of Sydney's CBD; 5 -7 minutes away from bus station. 10-15 minutes away from train station. Staff really helpful and prompt at fixing issues. I would come again with family.

The apartment was very generous in size and exceeded our expectations with the inclusions. The washing machine and kitchen facilities were excellent, the location was ideal and quiet and we were very happy with the price we paid. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly.

Nice and clean studio apartment with plenty of space for a family of 4. Very friendly and helpful staff, sorted out the kitchenette questions for us late after hours. The hotel is the great location just 25 min walk from the Opera House or 30 min walk to the Darling Harbour. Secure onsite parking, although lifts do not go down beyond the ground level, so be prepared to cary your luggage from the car to the lobby. The room we stayed in was at the very end of the building so the wifi reception was a bit patchy, otherwise very positive experience.

Staff at the desk were very helpful. Surroundings very quiet. It would be useful to have an option to request for separate beds when booking the room. The room was very clean except for a blood stain on the doona of one bed. Very hard to open the windows Ventilation was not good with air conditioning turned off despite constant extractor fan in the bath room. Wi-fi very slow in the room.

Excellent service and location rooms are spacious and clean so close to all of the activities and dining on the wharf. A stroll into the CBD and the botanical gardens is a must from this location. After hours check in and parking onsite is also an added bonus.

This apartment hotel is in an excellent position. However, it has no access for people with disabilities and we had to lug suitcases up stairs at the entrance. Good size apartment but desperately needs repainting and carpeting. Breakfast was offered as part of a package but was a very ordinary continental breakfast. Only one staff member who really wasn’t interested in us. We had to vacate at 10am and there was no where comfortable for us to sit and wait for a couple of hours til we could embark our cruise ship.
