I paid for the best room to stay in calm during my time in sydney, but everytime people around the room (outside) were talking so loud, also in the morning happened the same, it could be better but also the staff didn't help me with direction or attractions that sydney has, I did by myself and it wasn´t good to...

So somehow I ended up staying in this hostel for four months while working in Sydney, purely because it's in a good location, (right next to kings cross station) and within a week I was settled in with all the long term workers, made really good friends, everyone staying is really friendly. Usually more of a weekend party hostel as...

I stayed here for 5 months, the staff was just amazing ( thanks to all of you Vicky, Daniella, Peter...) this hostel really feel like home away from home. Good breakfast, super wifi and nice garden area to chill. You can't really ask for more :). Thanks again HQ Ludovic

Lovely hostel, very friendly staff, welcoming and knowledgeable. The best breakfast of any hostel I have been to, super choice of cereals and jams etc! Very nicely decorated with good kitchen and social areas including outdoor space. Rooms were decent sized if any improvements it would be for the bathrooms to be slightly cleaner :-)

I stayed at HQ for a total of 4 months as to why it still baffles me. Objectively, nice location and nice outside area. However Rooms are overpriced, infested with cockroaches and no air condition so the summer is a sweaty ordeal. There is a strictly no fun policy as you are not allowed music above the sound of silence...

Staff was super friendly and the hostel is very clean (rooms and bathrooms). The place is very well taken care of and I would recommend this place to travellers and friends. Hostel provides you with fresh sheets and a cup for the kitchen and all utensils and cooking stuff is available to use. Free breakfast in the morning was great...

Good value for money. All the common areas were clean and you have free breakfast (bread, jam, cereals, coffee, tee) We had 8 share dorm and room was big enough and had lockers and sink. Shower was also really good, got good pressure and hot water. Wifi was free and it was best we had so far. Location was great, just...
