Arrived at the hotel and greeted warmly by the front office staff. They Initiated small talks. Everything was perfect. Lift came immediately after we pressed the button, then the horror begins. Upon reaching the hotel room, we found nut shell on the floor beside the sofa. Bed sheet has either dust or not changed. There were black fur on it...

Beautiful good sized studio apartment with a great deck. Staff very helpful easy walking access to the city for the fireworks and only a 30 min walk back to the room. Made our New Years Eve a very special night to remember.

Another stay at Meriton Pitt St, this time in a one bedroom apartment. I love having a separate bedroom from the living spaces offering a private space if your partner gets up early. Everything was clean & modern with a full kitchen, coffee machine, lounge room, TV, wifi & a small balcony. The bathroom was superb with a great deep...

We stayed at the Pitt street Meriton for 10 days while on vacation in December 2016 including and overnight stay for New Years. We had a studio apartment for two people. We found the staff to be very polite and helpful during the course of our stay. The room was clean and was usually serviced during the day to replace...

Rooms are okay and exactly as pictured but the aircon is warm in some sections of the apartment and freezing in others. Plus, some of the communal spaces in the building seem horribly cramped with linen/cleaning cupboards added into hallways that are already too narrow. Also, only 3 elevators servicing 50 floors means you're waiting ages for an elevator. Seems...

Location is good, walking distance to Quay station (30 mins), QVB and China Town. Staff forgot to clean up the trash bin (hope it was an occasional incident), others are great - room is neat and tidy. Price is reasonable during the peak holiday season.

We had 2 apartments on the 47th floor &51st floor. During peak times you cannot travel from the 47th floor to the 51st. You have to go down to reception on the 11th, then up to 51! On Sunday night I spent 20 minutes in a queue at the lifts to get to my room.

A perfect place for a few days in the city before we headed home to NZ. The service and location was great, the room was good, although the extraction in the bathroom was not effective and we had mould in our shower.

I admit to have been spoilt by usually staying at the Meriton world tower. On this occasion the world tower was full and tried Pitt street. The rooms were of the same high standard but there were some problems. Firstly maybe I was unlucky but was given a low florr despite staying for six nights. I missed those views from...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
